Great bar, great arcade, and great drinks. Prices range from 7$ to 9$ for drafts and cocktails on the 15$ to 17$ mark. However, this is an amazing bar/arcade with great seating (indoors and outdoors).

My go to bar. It's a fun great place to drink a beer and play some pinball and arcade games. They've changed it since Covid. No longer do you have food trucks or small food vendors there. They expanded space for more guests do it's not that crowded. The only negative thing is that they don't really care if you have a mask on or not and it gets extremely crowded near the bar and the arcade games.

One of my favorite places to visit in the Arts District! Definitely a must visit if you like arcade games. Beautiful outdoor seating. Music is always great and cocktails are delicious.

A great social environment with bunch of pinball machines and arcade games. Drinks are decent. Overall very fun but a long wait time to get in if you get there late on the weekends.

I have wanted to go to this place for a while it was not too much of a disappointment it was a nice place especially a good selection of pinball games games. 2 of the arcade games didnt work, and of course, some if them took ur coins without giving u credit. It brings back childhood memories of games that took money without play, lol. Otherwise I would go back there.

Beware they discriminate; I brought my service animal to this spot thinking they were welcoming to people with disabilities. The security guards (one was named Derek) out front denied my entrance, demanded I show proof of my service animal, and asked invasive questions regarding my disability. They DO NOT comply with the law and are ableist. Mind you my pet is trained and was inside her backpack, so she could not bother anyone

Loved it! I've been here a few times. It gets pretty crowded but has lots of arcade games. They have tokens available at the bar & in token machines.

It was super fun! Met up with a friend and we had drinks, played old school arcade games and pinball machines. It was crowded on Saturday night. The line for the bar is really long but the bartenders are friendly and very good with servicing people who came first. Overall very nice experience. Would definitely go again. Hopefully during a weekday so it’s not so crowded.

Obsessed with Eighty Two! The atmosphere is great and the games are so much fun. Fair warning that security will search you and maybe pat you down/wand you before you enter. I’m OBSESSED with the Sopranos pinball machine. The Princess Peach, El Burro and Kill Screen are my faves! FYI games shut down at 1:45 AM.

Good games and drinks horrible health hazards though. Went with a friend first time for them there. Half hour in we and a bunch of other patrons notice roaches running around the place. We tried to ignore it because whatever we aren’t eating right? Wrong, a giant cockroach crawled up my friends back which naturally freaked them out. I don’t wanna give a one star review I love this place but frankly this is the only establishment in the arts district that I’ve seen such a bad roach problem, and they don’t even serve food! If you are going to go def recommend getting something bottled or canned. Scrub those hands when you get home god knows how many roaches are crawling over the machines where people’s hands are constantly touching. Also I think it’s just a testament of how badly run the joint is. I mean how can all these restaurants and bars in the area not have that bad of a roach problem compared to a place that doesn’t serve food. Clearly zero cleaning or lack of care to upkeep the place as long the bar/tourist crowds who haven’t noticed keep filling it up.

Cheap arcades and high quality drinks. No cover and pretty chill during the day. They also had a great selection of pinball. I can't wait to go back.

Very unique experience. It is an arcade bar with lots of pinball machines and old school arcade games to choose from. There is an open air area in the middle of this establishment which is very cool. Must have coins to use the machines. Highly recommend.

Always a fun time! A great place to go on a date or with a group of friends. Classic arcade games and pinball machines combined with a live DJ, full bar and open air seating.

This is always a fun place to visit. Great retro arcade and pinball machines. The drinks are inexpensive, DJ with dancing and plenty of room to lounge and chat with friends. They sometimes have food trucks inside, but if not, there are plenty of food trucks outside with other nearby food spots. It's definitely a go-to location.

Great spot to meet friends, hang and chat (outside area) and then play a large array of pinball or retro arcade games! You swap USD bills or quarters for their tokens to use. They had a DJ on Saturday night when I went.

Beer and pinball. Great little spot. Love the arcade games and the pinball. Make sure you bring some cash to get tokens so you can play. Great fun I'd agree with others comments about security - the young guy who insisted on carding me was young enough to be my son and the entire search and scan rubbish on the way in was just plain nuts.

Came here after dinner with a group of friends. It was a great spot I had personally never been to I did not play with the machines but it was a very nice spot to socialize. There is many people there willing to talk and make friends.

The pictures don't really do this place justice. This arcade/bar is such a great vibe on weekend nights. The drinks are good, and they rotate out the pinball machines regularly so there's always something new the next time I stop by. I love grabbing a drink, hitting the pinball arcade, and grooving to the live DJ music. I gave it 4 stars for food because although they don't serve food here, they are right in the middle of an awesome food district. Plenty of options to walk to, grab a quick bite, then jump back into gaming <3

Great to enjoy drinks while playing arcade games. They have street fighter, dozens of pinball machines and several arcade classics. My favorite was Arkanoid with its original controls. Music is a bit too loud for my taste and the security guys could be a bit nicer.

  • 5/5 Stella H. 5 months ago on Google
Great date spot and good for large groups! You can drink and play games and the lines moves fast! You can usually find parking on the street but if not there are lots around the area.

Love this place. I’m a regular here so i had to come on here to show some love. Staff is great, drinks are reasonably priced, but most of all the vibe at 82 is always right. Great place to hang out on a friday or Saturday night if you’re not into clubbing.

Be wary. its obvious a bunch of these are AI or fake written reviews copying the same great praises over and over until they reach the end of the thesaurus. especially with the amount of reviews in the last few weeks alone. When I went years ago, the place was alright... 1 dollar plays on pinball machines that shoot straight down the middle and 15-20 dollar drinks. You're better off going to Round One nowadays. Way better game and drink prices. Last straw was the night he threw one of my friends out for claiming to "manhandle" the pinball machine, literally grabbing him and forcing him out the door. My friend didn't set off the tilt alarm or anything, no warning from the owner, nothing. just get out. Fine. Fool the rest of LA into coming here. I'm good. Button Mash in silverlake is way better anyway. AND you dont have to go downtown.

It was tough to find parking around the area. Parked in a lot for an hour and paid $20. It's more of a playground for youngsters. Not my style and ambiance were ghetto. The DJ was good, though. Tbh, I love playing those vintage video games, too. But if I was younger, it would be fine. Basically, I'm trying to turn something positive to not feel like a wasted night.

Really cool spot, but they need to do something about how they manage their bar, I have never seen a small bar packed like this, was pointless to attempt to buy drinks when there were 70+ people packed in front of a small bar, the other issue was just having to be searched by metal detector / wand, I appreciate the safety aspect , not sure what happened since they didn't do this before, but it does take away from how you feel being in the area.

Door guys are awesome. Bartenders are awesome. Game techs are awesome. What’s not to love about this chill Barcade? Come and hang out. You can even join a pinball league! Most fun I’ve had in LA bars ngl

Pinball plus arcade and tasty drinks!! It’s always fun!! And staff and bartender service is A+++++

  • 4/5 Desirée L. 7 months ago on Google
Bartender was such a gem. He gets bonus points for pouring an extra shot for the birthday girl. He treated us with kindness as we celebrated. I recommend starting small with your dollar to coin exchange if you’re not really sure about playing. I was under the impression we’d be getting quarters but that’s not the case. So I got $5 worth of coins but only used half.

Great drinks and solid selection of arcade classics and mainstays. Pinball lovers welcome!

Went on a Tuesday and the place was pretty chill. Not busy, but not dead. Good choices of drinks, although a tad pricey. And it takes a little too long to get a drink. $5 worth of tokens kept me entertained for about an hour. Outdoor seating area is pretty attractive.

  • 5/5 Ben W. 2 years ago on Google
Fun hang out - not the best selection of games, but beggars can't be choosers. Great live DJ, fancy cocktails and beautiful outdoor seating more than make up for it. Would recommend!

  • 4/5 Ronny Z. 2 years ago on Google
Love the place. Some games need maintanance but for the most part they have everything there drinks, music, classic video games. Good vibes!

  • 3/5 Mario F. 2 years ago on Google
Cool spot but the machines never work. 😔 Sometimes I wonder how much maintenance can an arcade machine really require. Drinks and staff are super cool though! Shout out to Roger and Jose super cool guys behind the bar. Give them a raise!!

  • 3/5 Rob S. 2 years ago on Google
Fun, original cocktails. Eclectic crowd. Music too loud (but I'm old). The selection of arcade games and pinball was pretty decent. Most definitely not a place you want or need a bathroom attendant to dispense paper towels.

  • 5/5 Nancy De L. 2 years ago on Google
Bar tenders are fast and courteous and the selection of games was great . They don’t have food but there’s usually food trucks nearby

  • 4/5 Moises C. 2 years ago on Google
Well stocked bar and video game themed drinks. If you come right when they open you have easier access to the game machines but later on it's packed. Overall a fun place to game and have a drink.

  • 4/5 Carresa R. 2 years ago on Google
Went here for a game night with my best friend and really enjoyed the arcade. It is for adults and I loved the atmosphere. When you first enter there are a few openings to two sides of the arcade. We enjoyed the “Princess Peach” and started to game. After a few games we went back to the bar for more drinks but was dissatisfied with our second round. If the drinks would have been consistent this place easily would have earned a five star rating.

  • 5/5 Ying L. 9 months ago on Google
Cool arcade bar in the arts district. Drinks can add up and service can be slow when it gets overcrowded, but it’s otherwise a neat place to hang out. There’s a nice outdoor area including a specific place without drinks. Lots of classic arcade games to play. You can buy trays of quarters (but they don’t buy them back). Staff is friendly and helpful.

  • 4/5 Kevin 1 year ago on Google
If you're a fan of arcades, this is the place to go. The atmosphere is great and a blast to the past if you like old school games and fun. A fun place to hang out at, only thing is that it can get quite crowded at times, but was always able to find a machine to play on. The machines are also cheap too which is great, for $5 you play on multiple machines for a while.

LA'S BEST BARCADE. I am definitely going to miss this spot once I move out of Los Angeles. They have an amazing collection of pinball machines and old school arcade games. Nice bar, good service the bartenders are nice and attentive. Highly recommended!!!

If you love vintage arcade and pinball machines then this place is for you…bring your quarters! The vibe is good, upbeat and usually a millennial crowd

  • 5/5 Chris G. 1 year ago on Google
This place is awesome! A barcade in Downtown LA. The drinks are about average priced for a barcade in Los Angeles. The bartenders are pretty skilled and know their stuff. A live DJ playing music all night. The vibes are chill, casual, and fun. The games are fun. They use tokens in exchange for bills. The pinball area is great, with lots to choose from. Will definitely come back and is recommend by me for those in the area. Come check it out.

  • 5/5 Ralph Manzanares (TheAstroCreep, R. 2 years ago on Google
Love this place. My only grip would be to get Super Street Fighter II, Street Fighter III and either Alpha 2 or Alpha 3. But they still have a great selection of games. Definitely recommend checking this spot out if you're in the area.

  • 4/5 Maryam K. 1 year ago on Google
It’s a cool place for hangouts over the weekend but not 100% satisfied, because all the game was boring not really crazy about it, Also the crowd was much bigger than the arcade games so probably you have to wait more but the vibe for grab a drink and sitting and hang out was very nice Also it’s not very safe around there, and hard to find a parking!

  • 5/5 Jason M. 1 year ago on Google
Love this place. Great craft cocktails and beer selection. The Pinball section has some awesome titles! So much fun!

  • 2/5 Evillincoln 1 year ago on Google
Okay so basically, this place is a Dave & Busters but for adults.. without the food. The bartenders are fantastic... It gets VERY busy here & they are quick to see you & get your drinks. The watermelon margarita is phenomenal. So here's why the 2 star review.. literally every game I played was broken in some way. The most popular game, SFII Turbo:Champion Edition, has been broken for YEARS (the whole cabinet wobbles drastically changing your stick input) & they just haven't fixed it. Other games have buttons that don't work, sticks that don't input up or down, guns that don't fire straight, screen burn... The list goes on & on. The idea of this place was great & the execution was good but... The games are old & only getting older. They need to be swapped out considerably more often. Take it from someone who spent most of their teenage & young adult lives in actual arcades. These owners sincerely lack arcade knowledge. The DJ's are fine. A bit boring because they play hip-hop 101 music most of the time but they're fine. Overall, I wouldn't come back here if people didn't invite me to join them. It just needs a sincere overhaul if you ask me. Keep the bartenders tho. 👍🏿

I have to say I liked this place. My brother was not so fond, but I think it was just because he did not get to play the games he wanted, as they were packed with people. If you want to come and play games, then I suggest coming earlier or on the weekend during the day. Because it can get very crowded and noisy.
