We
arrived
late
and
had
an
early
flight
the
next
morning
so
we
made
sure
to
download
the
digital
key
so
we
could
go
right
to
our
room.
Upon
entering
the
hotel
and
its
nice
lobby,
my
expectations
for
the
room
were
too
high.
I
am
a
travel
advisor
so
I
am
very
observant
of
hotels
that
I
stay
in.
As
soon
as
we
got
off
the
elevator
for
the
third
floor,
the
smell
of
marijuana
was
so
strong,
as
well
as
cigarette
smoke.
We
could
smell
it
all
the
way
down
the
hall
to
our
room.
Unfortunately,
our
digital
key
didn't
work.
The
front
desk
gave
us
physical
keys,
which
also
didn't
work.
They
ended
up
moving
us
to
another
room
down
the
hall
for
the
night,
which
was
a
suite.
It
had
a
sliding
glass
door
out
to
a
community
courtyard.
We
didn't
need
the
pull
out
sofa,
but
it
was
located
right
in
front
of
the
sliding
glass
door
with
only
a
shear
curtain
to
pull
in
front
of
it.
I
definitely
wouldn't
feel
comfortable
having
any
of
my
family
sleep
on
that
sofa
bed
when
you
can
see
right
into
the
room
from
the
courtyard.
We
could
still
smell
the
marijuana
and
cigarette
smoke
from
that
room.
The
carpet
and
bathroom
floors
were
disgusting.
The
shower
was
difficult
for
my
11
year
old
son
to
turn
on
so
we
had
to
call
the
front
desk
to
tell
us
how!
We
booked
this
room
with
Hilton
Honors
points
so
the
front
desk
offered
to
give
us
half
our
points
back,
which
they
did
not.
We
had
to
call
Hilton
customer
service
and
explain
the
situation
to
get
our
points
back.
Although
very
conveniently
located
to
LAX
with
the
shuttle,
I
don't
think
that
I
would
recommend
this
hotel
to
my
clients
due
to
the
dirty
room
and
smell
of
marijuana.
