Came here for my last night in LA. It was a Thursday and the Dodgers game was on so it was pretty busy. Luckily we only had to wait 20-30min for a table as we checked other places in the area had a longer wait. We sat down and ordered 2 Yards, short rib appetizer, orange chicken, and burger with fries. All the food was great, flavorful, the meats were tender, and the servers were there often enough that we didn’t feel ignored. This place is a gem in every city that I’ve been with there quality of food, service, price, and ambiance. I hope to continue to go here in the other cities around the country.

This place needs work. You got a manager who is essentially asleep. You have staff who is passive aggressive as hell and you have terrible food that gets slashed in half after 3pm but it's so bad you can't order more than 3 entrees ! Went as a party of 3. None of the food was any good. It was slimy, smelly and/or old. Skip this place. Feels like they stopped trying years ago

The food here was delicious! We had an amazing waiter, that took our large group order and didn't write anything down...and got the orders right! I had steak sandwich that was so good that I took my leftovers and ate it cold the next day. It was still tasty! Great atmosphere too!

I really enjoy dining and drinking here. They have the biggest selection of bees on tap that I have ever saying and the food was fantastic as well. The white staff were very friendly and happy to answer any questions. The food and drinks were reasonably priced and came quickly.

Best experience at a Yardhouse! Went for Happy Hour, seated quickly, Great serviced throughout our time there. Very nice staff, clean restrooms. We had so much food, all so delicious! Parking is right underground, entrance right next to the yard house entrance on Olympic Blvd. Parking was $10 for the first two hours, and Yardhouse does not validate parking. We'll be back!

Went in at 7:30 with a medium sized group. Our server Nigel read us like a book and kept us entertained 😂 The food was exceptional, especially for sports bar cuisine. I didn't get a chance to try drinks this time but my friends loved them. They couldn't stop ordering more (lol) and luckily payment was super smooth for all of 9 of us. I would definitely return here. Thank you Nigel for making our nights!

I had the most wonderful, tender pork chop and the steamed veggies on the side were to die for! Yes, I realize how that sounded, but get the veggies and you will see. The seared ahi appetizer was fantastic, drinks and service were amazing as well! My husband had the bacon Bleu cheese burger, he said there could have been more bacon and more Bleu cheese, but still a wonderful burger. My son's sliders with cheese were very good quality as well! Everything I had, I would order again in a heartbeat! Lovely experience.

Great ambiance and great food! Beer and cocktails are great too! You find something for everyone.❤️💯 Prices are reasonable and won’t be disappointed. Servers are very attentive and courteous. They have an “ I can do it” attitude. So awesome and thank you for the great experience! Public parking under the plaza or street parking 2 blocks away. Follow me for more!

Staff were helpful. No wait for seating at about 730 pm on a Saturday night. We ordered the pretzel app with the beer cheese. The pretzel could have been better, more yeast, more salt. But the beer cheese was delicious as was the mustard. My husband had the Mac n cheese main and I had the vodka penne. Very large portions, at least 2 servings. We couldn’t finish em. I liked his food better than mine. Would probably return. The menu is large. Party vibe on a Saturday. Good vibes.

Ordered online for a pick up while staying at a nearby hotel. Took longer than they informed which happens, but my steak was over cooked so I had to wait for them to remake my steak. They took the food I ordered back and put in the warmer while I waited. That didn’t seem to help at all because the food was cold by the time I left the restaurant. I requested my steak medium and when they remade it, it was rare. Needless to say, I couldn’t eat the steak. I would have warmed it up but I wasn’t at a hotel that had microwaves or fridge. The Mac n Cheese was very good even though it was cold. I know it would be amazing fresh. Calamari is awful cold. Cheese curds gal into the same category. All is all, this was the worse experience I’ve had with food at a Yard House. It’s not like I had to drive across town to eat it, I was literally 3 minutes down the street. No way they should have let paying customers leave with food in that condition. Especially at no fault of my own. I don’t think I’d be going to back to this location anytime soon. What a waste of $100 😞

3.5. Rounded up for location, sheer size and friendliness of staff. Food is okay to good. Beer selection is legit. I got this belching beaver stout. Good good stuff. Plenty to do and see at la live. Free 2 hour parking w validation. Put in the validation first then ur parking ticket. Good to go

This is my favorite Yardhouse out of all the chains, great food, amazing bar area and it’s a massive spot. Most of the appetizers and pizza is great. I recommend the Poke nachos, Korean BBQ, chicken tortilla soup, calamari & chicken nachos.

Yard House LA Live is conveniently located and they can accommodate large parties. Their happy hour offerings are diverse, with a wide selection of food and drink options. The atmosphere is energetic and good for socializing.

I wasn't expecting to ear at YardHouse while in a new city...but I did. How did it compare ? The same as the one in my city. This place seems like it's too large in size and staff is running round constantly. Our server thought he was a charmer but only came around 3 times at best and each stop he grew more and more...hostile ? But food was okay. Nothing great at Yardhpuse folks. Came for the 3pm Food Happy Hour. The Queso was nasty and sent it right back. The poke salad was fun but gave me runs later that day. As did the sashimi . The sliders were greasy. The bread were slick w grease or butter and everything was just microwaved nastiness in my opinion.

Very popular location to eat. This location offers inside and outside dining. Good food, great service. It was pretty crowded but the employees still had good hospitality. Stopped for dinner and a drink before attending a concert nearby. Defiantly would go again.

I really wish I lived near a place like this. The food, vibe and service were all great. A lot of other restaurants in the area had long waits so we came here and were pleasantly surprised. The food came out quickly, was delicious and our server was very accommodating of my dietary restrictions. If I find myself back in LA I'll certainly be back.

Yard House was amazing! First time visiting and they were great. The food was absolutely on point! Flavorful, nice portion sizes and cooked to perfection. For this to not be a steakhouse they produced one of the best tasting bone in Ribeyes I have ever tasted!

We visited LA yard house branch food looked spectacular. We tried Chicken Nachos which was amazing, but Orange Chicken and Pineapple chicken was too sweet for our taste and fish & chips was ok. For vibe I will give 5/5. During dinner time it gets too busy so better make reservations.

We went before a Dodgers game and found Yard House to be good sports bar with ok food (we had burgers, i'd recommended ordering it a step more done than you usually order). The beer selection is top notch and it was fun drinking a 1/2 yard of beer. A bit pricey especially when you factor in $10 parking. We'll probably hit another place next time, but glad we went.

Happy hour is AMAZING SERVICE was good Cici is a very friendly server, Food was very good full of flavor and came out hot and quick! Appetizer are full sized unlike a lot of restaurants around. Atmosphere before the game was great and lively. Good place to bring kids because it’s already loud. I would return. The price is unbeatable!

Pleasantly surprised that the rib eye steak was so good. The nachos far better today than last time definitely not as main dish (big portion).

In town for the Nike 3on3 tournament. Came in after registration. Nice central location right in LA Live complex. Food was good. As expected, a good beer selection including locals. Service was just ok. Typical big box chain experience.

I love every Yard House, I think it’s a very underrated chain, but this is by far my favorite I’ve ever been to. It’s always poppin! Weeknights, weekends, you’re going to see a packed restaurant which I like. The only downside is sometimes the drinks service takes a long time. It’s not a huge downside to me, but we’ve definitely had issues with getting our drinks before our appetizers. Not a huge deal for me, but if you like to pace out drinks and food it’s good to keep in mind. The food is consistent and feels like a good deal for how much they give you. We love sitting at the bar - this location has a large bar that is always full. Very fun place to catch a game!

Cheese curds were good but sauces were not complimenting the curds. Bathroom had no toilet paper. Drink never arrived. Cilantro lime chicken dish was burnt. Whiskey & Aged White Cheddar burger tasted like a wannabe jack Daniel's burger but totally missed the mark. Plus it was overcooked.

Came here to get dinner before a concert show and it was the perfect place to dine. There was absolutely no wait, the staff is super friendly and attentive and the food (especially the appetizers) were delicious. I love how conveniently located it is and walking distance from both venues.

Came in only for the bread pudding. Yummy! I was reluctant about the portion size but definitely filling. It's a dense slice with cream sauce and vanilla ice cream. Would definitely come and try it again!

Food was GREAT! Please do note, though, that it's VERY LOUD to the point that you can not carry on a conversion. 🙁 The server was non-existent. We ordered drinks and food by the time she finally came around, and then two different people actually did the delivery of both beverages and the food we ordered. We flagged her down for our ticket, which she was the only thing she did serve us. 👏🏼 The evening of Saturday, March 18, 2023, 8 p.m.

The Yard House is probably one of my favorite restaurants in Southern California. This is the 3rd one we've been to in LA county. We always order the same things and it never fails to taste the same at each location. This time the food came out lukewarm instead of hot. It was the end of the night though, they were closing the kitchen in about 15 minutes when we got there and were open for another 30 after the kitchen closed. We left before 1230. Parking is easier for this downtown LA location as there's a parking garage directly underneath it. Prices were about the same and we spent about $75 on apps and sodas. Our server was attentive, polite. Only issue I had with the server was when she brought our refill for our soda, she grabbed the original straw from our empty glass with her hands and put it in our new drink. As a previous server, never once have I done that. I would've rathered her asked me to get my own straw out of my own cup. Just made me cringe a little. Wasn't bad service at all though.

WOW! Got the 20oz Ribeye and oh my god was it good! Got medium rare AKA the only right way to eat a steak, and oh man from the sides to the meat it was excellent! The mashed potatoes were so good I had to order more on the side haha. I am a steak gal and this DEFINITELY satisfies! Definitely coming back with my family! I am happy 😊

Located in LA Live ? Near public parking . And nice walkway with benches outside .Lots of Outdoor seating , has heaters . Lots of indoor seating with TVs , big bar. Friendly staff. Seated right away. Our server brought us drinks , attentive. Appealing menu that shows calories . I'm low carb, ordered chicken lettuce wraps delicious !! Other members ordered Cheese steak with different types of fries ... Sweet potato, garlic, regular , truffle , extra$1-$2 ,depending on which kind . Large choice of beer . Servers wear masks , I wore one walking to bathroom , but off in our booth. Bathroom , plenty of stalls and clean !

If you hate compromises you’ll love Yard house. They don’t ask you if you want ranch or blue cheese with your wings. They give you ranch AND blue cheese. One of the best places to eat within walking distance of the Microsoft center. Even during their busiest time the staff is prompt, and food was excellent. We had lettuce wraps, pizza, wings, and more and everything was very enjoyable.

Came here for lunch and our waitress was very friendly and very helpful. I love it when they give good service. And the happy hour specials are really good. The BBQ chicken salad was delicious, I definitely recommend it. The sliders were just ok. Not good but not bad, Just ok

This place was hopping on a Saturday night. The background music is prevalent- not enough to disrupt table conversation imho. The staff were friendly and efficient. I walked from a local hotel so I can't comment on parking options. Many options for beer, booze, and food. Expect a little wait during peak times. There was an inside table for us upon arrival, but we chose to wait 15 minutes for a table outside.

  • 3/5 Arnetta M. 2 years ago on Google
The only reason this is 3 stars is because someone vomited profusely near the restrooms, and the staff took quite a while to respond to cleaning up the accident. No one wanted to deal with it, which truly soured our dining experience. But the food and the server were excellent!

  • 3/5 T T. 2 years ago on Google
Yard House is definitely a fun place to enjoy dining. There is a wonderful selection of beers and cocktails. We do not drink so I cannot comment, but I would like to say that the selection is vast. There is a lot of seating inside and outside and you can feel comfortable here with family or on a date. We experienced nachos, pizza and sliders. With the sliders came our choice, sweet potato fries. All of the entrees were delicious. The nachos and pizza were ok. The sliders were amazing. We went during happy hour which is 3pm - 6 pm and a select choice of options are half off. I don’t know if I would pay full price for the options we chose but at half price it’s a deal for what you get. The nachos come with jalapeños which are too spicy for me so I simply did not eat the jalapeños. The pizza was full of meat, crust flimsy. The sliders, again…these are what you want! The staff is very busy and I wouldn’t say that they are attentive to you. I wouldn’t say that the staff greets you with a smile. There’s a table top machine on your table where you can pay for your meal using plastic at the table and not have to deal with the servers. I would eat here again and I would say that Yard House would be very fun with an after work group or with family that’s visiting from out of town. Parking could be an issue to this establishment, so keep that in mind when making reservations. Allow yourself time. The location is great! It’s in a great fun area that you’ll want to explore. I do recommend this Yard House!

Great place to have quick bites and drinks. Good ambiance and music. Loved the garlic noodles and onions rings. They have nice soups as well. Do visit it if you like to hang out with friends on friday night for dinner and drinks.

Conveniently located at LA live it’s a nice area to explore overall. Some friends and I each got an appetizer, an entree, and a drink and shared some of our food with one another so we can try a little bit of everything. I love doing that because we get to try different things off the menu in one visit. The Beyond Burger was really tasty and the meat actually tasted somewhat like meat and A1 steak sauce. Some fries are a hit or miss but these were perfectly crisp and cut. The lobster pasta was good. The lobster was not dry, but very juicy and flavorful. The noodles sauce was like a 7 out of 10. I personally like thick sauce in my pasta and this was a little too runny for me. And the tostada salad chicken bowl was a solid 6. Nothing too special. The sauces made it taste good though. I like the ambiance of the place. It’s a sports bar/restaurant, so expect just that.
