Great vibe pub with live music performance. Live music starts around 9pm. They don’t have food.

Chill little hidden gem. Nice for before dinner drinks, night caps, and also hours to chill and talk or listen to live music. No cocktails but lovely beer and wine options. Awesome live music and dope staff members <3

1642 is great! Amazing beer and wine selection especially for a tiny little bar that you wouldn't even know was there. Go on a day with live music and you'll have a great time! If not, it's a great quiet spot for a date.

Softly lit space with a chill vibe unlike any other in Echo Park. Great selection of beers. Love the coconut stout. El Prado has a similar ambiance, but always has loud music on. Here, you can get a drink and actually talk to other people, not yell. Great place to have a drink and not feel like you're at a club. Also, it can be very romantic.

This is a sanctuary. Liz is everyone's hero. If you're looking for a community involved, woman-run business, here it is! Diverse clientele and employees. Everyone loves this place for dates; you'll get laid! Queer friendly atmosphere, incredible live music, and a loving community. Can't get any better than this in LA!

1642 is a hidden gem! They offer a small yet fantastic selection of wine, beer and they also have non-alcoholic menu. The intimate ambiance with soft candlelight sets the perfect mood. Just be aware, it's a bit small and can get crowded, especially during live music events. No air conditioning, so it can get warm, so drink up. Limited parking means you might need to find a spot nearby. The two restrooms might get busy when it's crowded, so plan your restroom visits wisely. My experience at this location was delightful, exuding a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. I'll definitely return for more live music in the future.

Good drinks at reasonable prices! Sometimes they have live music. It's so cute! Deff the spot for a more mature crowd like mid 20s and older

what happened to the vibe? this place runs on vibes, when the owner isn’t helpful or kind, what do you have left?

Very understaffed for the kinda crowd there was. I couldn't get drinks when I wanted to, so we left. Though the atmosphere was great.

We felt uncomfortable/unwelcome. We end up leaving. This bar doesn't deserve our money at all.

This place is tremendous. It has become my Echo Park staple for beer and wine. The selection is outstanding, with lots of hard-to-find craft beers and delicious organic wines.

The best bar in the world. Shhhh, don't tell anyone... But still give this establishment all your money, they deserve it all.

What else can I say about this place? The live shows they have here are outstanding. They usually have a pretty lively crowd but it's chill and not annoying. Definitely come here if you want to enjoy a drink chat with a friend while listening to some really good music. It's a cute, very ambient bar. The details matter here

This was, is, and will be my favorite spot. Check out the Hifi Honeydrops on Wednesday nights and enjoy a glass of Malbec. Make sure to run to Leo's taco truck for a taco al pastor and a quesadilla before heading back home.

My favorite wine bar in the neighborhood! I love that they have the really big wine glasses. Their wine selection is quite vast as well. And their burrata is to die for as well. It gets pretty busy but if you can grab a table it's a great place for a date or to catch up with friends.

This place understands the quality time with friends or a date. It's small but extremely comfortable. The drinks are incredible and bartenders are always kind and courteous. From time to time there are live shows performed at the place that add to the ambience. One of the top spots to have a conversation or a date.
