It was my first time going and I loved it! Once you get carded, you walk down the stairs and you can choose from two different sections. When I went, the section to the left was low-key and had a more calm and intimate environment, while the large area on the right had a DJ with a small dance floor. There is a bar in both sections, which makes it super convenient. I went on a Saturday and the music was great. Per usual, drinks are a tad pricey, but I wouldn't expect anything less.

Fantastic drinks and even better service. Good music too but you can also have a conversation with someone without yelling. Amazing staff, especially Coleen the manager. I reserved a booth for a party and she treated me like a long time friend. Highly recommended for having your events here.

Spaekasy ambience with delicious cocktails. I like that it doesn't too crowded and the bartenders are generally friendly. Great for dates and small groups.

We strolled in around 8pm (before the crowd arrives) with the intention of "just going for a drink." We honestly wanted to stay longer because the place itself was intimate and nice. It's sort of like a beautiful spacious basement. The bathrooms were also nice. I'll be back again to see how it gets later in the night.

Beautiful and dark and classy! At least tonight Sunday, jazz and lovely singing from loveliest Jenny Luna in Moondogs. Dark enough for this 40 something to look fantastic. Great drinks, had a draft Czech Pilsner. arrived at 8pm with plenty of seating, nice wooden floor....could be room enough for dancing. Don’t know what happens here other nights as it’s my first night but if you wanted to sway, perfect.

Awesome place to celebrate our friends birthday! The drinks were great, the vibe was relaxed and the music was 90s and there was no cover or long lines. They have 2 bar areas and the main room was the good one when i went. The second room had a horrible sounds system and weird music i couldn't name, like 80s rock or something.

Spacious with a great atmosphere. Will definitely become my new "go to" when trying to corral a group of peeps for a meet up. Bartenders were quick and friendly. No douche bag vibes from staff and Frank (at the front door) was a total welcoming gentleman. Highly recommend it!

Amazing ambiance = cool/hip/modern vibe without it being hipster still elegant without it being pretentious WONDERFUL service, didn't catch her name but she was working this past Saturday afternoon and wore glasses (young girl from Burbank) The ROSE was to die for, not too sweet just right! Location is near many other places to eat and drink (in a cute little walking strip) Plenty of seating and space w/comfortable seats Parking easy to find CONS: Host nowhere to be found Little awkward and confusing walking in at first because you're not sure if you should wait and are supposed to be seated or to seat yourself (should have a host) Parking nearby is a 1.5 hour limit (but free!)

I went again on a Friday and this time, the service was MUCH better. We sat at the sushi bar, so maybe that's why? The food was still good as usual, but worth noting that I usually get sashimi here. It's not a good place for rolls.

This is very obviously not your typical club party. The venue is huge, there's some sort of rave going on upstairs, they open with a live band comprised of 3 singers - 1 asian lady, 1 goth guy, and someone else, and they serve Mexican food upstairs. It's crowded, the people are diverse, and the music is completely random. If this fits your bill for a great night out, I'd recommend it. However for those of us used to a more traditional outing, I'd say maybe spend your $12 somewhere else.

Great service. This place is honestly the best of Los Angeles, CA I can't imagine anyone better running this establishment. Best service amazing ownership. If you don't visit here you're a fool. The drinks are top notch! Do yourself a favor and frequent this establishment!!

"It's not a bar, it's a tasting room" -- OK, OK -- but really, drinking wines in a sleek but warm space, low lighting and pretty people, besides the odd business hours, it's a bar... albeit a classy one where you can learn about terroir. Kudos for using great stemware, and since my taste prefers more austere Pinot Noirs, I always drop by Landmark and Saintsbury. You can't see much when you first enter and don't be put off by the somewhat clueless reception, do venture downstairs and explore some very good wines!

It's shut down. Please update the Google listing. Downtown LA is not a place to have women dropped off and seemingly abandoned because the place is closed.

Mr. Dubs ordered a few flights of wine and I had shared the macaron sampler. The sampler was delish and the wine was good. Good wine, good food, good company. Couldn't really have asked for more.

The EL DORADO is just "meh" for me. Perhaps it's too classy for me (to be fair, I dig Tempest, but also enjoy wine, so...ehhh), but the few times I've been it's just been too...much. The blended red I got had 20 different varietals--that's a lot. The clientele is very SOMA/FiDi, so heads up. That being said, the sommelier was very knowledgable and patient with us when deciding. I'd go back the next time I wanted some hard-to-find wine.

Cannot say enough positive things about this place. Excellent service from Jen and some of the best food we've had in the valley in years. We had the roasted chicken, lobster ravioli, peach salad and "tater tots" which taste more like potato croquettes. Everything was excellent including our craft cocktails. So happy and we'll be back!

Love Kazuki Sushi!! You get tasty, fresh sushi at a decent price. The staff is also very nice. We tend to get the Crunchy roll, Dragon Roll, and our new favorite is the BLCR. It's always busy and it's nice that they're still open for pick up during the COVID 19 crisis. Please support this small local business if you can!

The D.J. was the ONLY one representing L.A. County proper last night. The crowd was kinda lame. The drink's are stiff! A+. Drank 1 drink & bounced!

Came here for a friends birthday on a Saturday night and boy was this place PACKED! We had to wait a short while to be seated but when we did we were glad we came. The food was awesome and the beers were even better. They have a crazy big assortment of beers, and their homebrews were to my liking as well. I wouldn't mind coming back here at all. Plenty of parking, cool staff, great food and beer.
