Well, I haven't been here in about 40 years and it's kind of interesting when you come back after so long. In a way, it looks very similar, especially the courtyard. I really like the building that it's in as it is so old that you can see generations of improvements on it. The drinking is another story. You should always buy alcohol when you go to a bar like this especially listening to music but the night I went they ran out of any decent beer and so experience was less than optimal. The music was good and the courtyard of course is cool to sit in but it's just doesn't have it all together anymore and that's just too bad. Again it could just be the night I went so...

I don't think I ever reviewed this place but I should - it's where I got married 8 years ago today! The best bartender in the world, Nikki , introduced us to the place and after spending some time there as bar-flys it worked out that we had our wedding there. Still stands as one of the most fun days of my life. I am so happy that it seems the pub is still going strong - especially now during the pandemic. We live out of state now, otherwise, it would still be a regular watering-hole. This place is awesome - if you haven't been, GO. And if you've been, GO BACK! I feel so lucky I got to get married there :)

Cool little bar. Good size outdoor area with lots of seats and tables. The DJ was awesome. Cool place for bands and some beers. Quick and friendly service for how packed it was.

Fantastic old school bar that never made it to the 2000s. Would come here more often if I were closer. Live music is loud and full with energy. Sit outside if you want. IMO best live music bar in Pasadena.

Hole in the wall! When searching from this place, you cannot see from any street. Park, then walk whatever street you're on and turn into the alley. This can't be more centered on that block. Super small and cozy, you won't wait for drinks. A few food options nearby but no real late night "drunk food." We saw a band play live there, they sounded really great. Smoking area outside where you can drink as well.

It is a nice small bar, located in downtown of Pasadena. They usually have live bands, that are playing at this establishment. The place, of course, is small, but clean at the same time. The drinks are fairly priced. So, of course, if anyone is in Pasadena, I would recommend to stop by this bar, and enjoy some live music; especially, on weekends.

Super fun bar! Variety of drinks and games to choose from. Wasn't overly crowded and like that they have hard liquor. Prefer this place slightly over the other gamer bar in SF. There's an upstairs and downstairs which is pretty cool. Games even have cup holders. Favorite is the 4 player pac-man. A great place to chill with friends!

This was my first time at this specific pub and it turned out to be a lot of fun. They had a band playing and usually do once or twice a week. The atmosphere and vibe from the place were great tons of energy from everyone in the room having a good time. They have an outdoor patio with tons of places to sit relax smoke or whatever you're into would definitely recommend checking this place out

This place is the bomb. Going for almost two decades. Different owners. Same great vibe. Best place to see live music in Pasadena. For free!!! Just pay for your beer. So small and intimate, you're practically on stage with the musicians. Open patio. Nearby parking structures available. Enjoy.

I've lived in the neighborhood for ten years and only started going to Old Towne Pub because of the pizza after friends kept telling me how amazing it was. Damn if they weren't right; hands down the best pizza I've ever had in my life. Ever.

Cool place to chill. Staff was friendly. Not too spacious inside but there's an outside patio so it's all good.

Best pub in old town Pasadena, the owner is really cool, tiny is probably the coolest bouncer I met in years and the bartender Chloe is the best. I recommend coming here when they have bands that play, come and support local community!
