I truly wasn’t expecting much out of Simmzy’s but I ended up being really pleasantly surprised! The waitstaff took great care of us, and we were a big group so not their easiest table. I had the tuna burger and it was amazing! The tuna was perfectly cooked and the sauce tasted like teriyaki which was such a nice touch. Even the fries were good! I definitely want to come back and also try their other locations.

I really love this restaurant and have been here multiple times. I usually get the Simmzys burger with sweet potato fries. The burger is really light and melts in your mouth. Service is always fast and you cannot beat the location and view for the price. They also have really nice cocktails in the coolest branded metal mugs. Definitely worth a try.

Great juicy hamburgers and craft beer selections! While shopping in Manhattan Beach my family and I stopped here for lunch. My daughter had fish tacos and my granddaughter and I had burgers. Fresh squeezed lemonade and I had a blonde ale. Paired well with a burger and I loved they way they left the skin on their fries. It's healthier with the skin on. Unfortunately, the waiter took my food before I was done with it, so, I gave him a short tip. Other than that, I have no complaints. Nice seating area outside for a lovely, sunny day. And you can see the ocean from there. We enjoyed our California sunshine while having a good meal. I highly recommend this place.

Simmzy’s has been around for quite awhile. Always known for their great beer selection, that hasn’t changed despite them bringing their own brand to the table. The food is always tasty and you just might see a VIP from time to time. They have a great location just a block away from the beach and now that they’ve taken over the parking spots, they have an ocean view from the outdoor seating. As for food, their 15 minute wings are really great but it’s only a mighty serving of 6 wings so make sure to order enough from the get go. I wouldn’t expect spectacular service because they are always so busy but they certainly get the job done and get it done quickly - almost like a diner feel of “what’s your order” to “here’s your check”. Alas, we were really only here for the beers and the cheers and we got plenty of both!

Great food, ambiance, and service. Absolutely recommend the fries and wings. Corn was too sweet though. Burger was slightly undercooked and needed some kick. Otherwise, pricing was great for beachfront food in Manhattan Beach. Will go back for the wings and maybe some other appetizers.

The Nacho fries were a 10 (loaded and flavorful) as was the Rasberry Margarita! I gave the tacos an 8 (loved the sauce but the shells were tough). Service was outstanding!

I really like this restaurant, however although the staff was friendly they were not as attentive, it may have been the business of the restaurant but nonetheless we felt neglected, we only had one round of drinks since we where asked just once if the food was ok and that was it. The food is delicious and matches the aesthetics and price tag of the beach views. Flavors are great and bold, with super fresh seafood.

Great prices for the area and you definitely get what you pay for! It was around $25/person for us. They have great serving sizes, big enough for some people to be able to split a meal and have both people be full. Lots of great burger options and some other menu options too. The drinks were overpriced, so we didn't end up ordering any. But the food is excellent! The music can make it a bit noisy if you eat inside, so don't expect a quiet meal if you choose to eat inside.

One of my favorite: "pay for the food not the atmosphere" restaurant. Basically an amazing fish market with a grill, fry or saute kitchen. Build your own feast- want lobster, a couple of giants prawns grilled and fried, and a bowl of clay chowder and then feast on the picnic tables facing the ocean in back😋

The Food was so great. Kids even enjoyed everything. The burgers were mouthwatering and such a quick service, music was lively and the views were spectacular. We loved the drinks and the food. I would highly recommend this place....loved it ❤ Thank you to the whole Team.

After a morning at Manhattan Beach we were ready to dive into some excellent American gastro-pub food for lunch. We were seated quickly and started with the nachos with carne asada. Topped with shishito peppers, an incredible salsa, and plenty of cheese, the nachos were perfect. Following that, we had the ahi tuna poke bowl and the billionaire burger. Both were delicious. All in all, it was a great meal in a great setting. The service was prompt and the atmosphere fun.

This new place right in the center of Manhattan Beach has a great vibe and even better food. I have gotten some of their burgers, some of their tacos, and their nachos, and all are outrageously good. This place is amazing, I highly recommend going there.

Best burger in the South Bay! This place is a MB staple. Good ambiance in a prime location a couple blocks from the beach. I would describe the menu as “sneakily elevated bar food” and could probably eat their signature burger every day if my life. Good beer selection and service to boot.

When I asked one of the staff how long they’ve had the restaurant open, the answer I got surprised me. It made me feel like they just had opened the store as they staff were so friendly and excited about their work. Super friendly people running the store. Congrats to the owner for having such people taking care of their store and delivering high quality. Alex was amazing and he took really good care of us. The food was amazing. I recommend Both Burger Patty Melt and Billionaire Burger. This was our first time in Manhattan beach and I really enjoyed visiting the place and its people.

Henry’s Take, Takes L.A.! Part 2 “Well I’m not the kind to live in the past. The years run too short and the days too fast. Time passages.” Al Stewart I think that Al was right about that. There’s no way to slow, much less stop, the passage of time. Perhaps the best we can do is enjoy the meandering path of life that we’ve been set upon. While here in L.A. for a graduation, the proud grad dad suggested that we eat at Simmzy’s because he recalled eating there around the time he attended UCLA. His daughter is graduating from USC (hey, the next gen has gotta blaze their own path people!) and the symmetry seemed irresistible. We began with the “15 Minute (But Worth the Wait) Wings” (actual name) and they really did take about that long to arrive at the table. The appeal of their presentation was undeniable and our table obliterated them. While the majority of our Review Team ordered salad bowls (which also offered great presentation and were also wiped out), I felt drawn to the “We’re Open Sunday’s Fried Chicken Sandwich” (actual name). It was marinated in buttermilk and Cholula and offered excellent flavors and crispiness. While we ordered too many things to review each meal, the proud grad dad strongly recommends that you consider the “Chicken Tinga Tacos” and “Blackened Local Rock Tacos.” Those dishes are appealing by their names alone, but it is the tortillas that really put them over the top for him. He described them as featuring a “crispy and heavy dough” that were filling enough to require only 2 of them to fully satisfy him. While proud dad grad was busy perseverating on the great tacos, the proud grad herself was busy vibing to the music which she described as “clubby.” While they may have had different foci at the restaurant, they are clearly bound by a love and friendship that bridges their generational differences. And there you have it. While Al was right that time does inexplicably move on, family and good food can be faithful companions that move on a simultaneous and parallel path alongside you. I am in love with this place! Coming from out of town and decided to take a walk down the strand and find some places to look around! The local shops recommend this place and I couldn't agree more! Lexi was an absolute angel, great food a service. I hope to come back out here soon!

We waited for over an hour while seated and the server who took our order could barely stand up and speak coherently. He didn’t even take any notes and didn’t seem like he was even trying to remember our order. When our food came it was completely wrong (shocker)... Wrong burger, wrong sides, wrong toppings. When we confronted our server we started to suspect he may have been under the influence of something while working.

Ordered the chicken wings! C- Not even grilled or baked in hot sauce. Deep fried. Could have gotten better out of a bag at Food 4 Less! Hot sauce on the side... meh. Not spicy. Not sweet. Tossed salad even worse than out of a bag. My son, who lives for Sharkeez wings... was mightily disappointed.

We always enjoy Simmzy's, it's one of our go-to places. Great food, service and atmosphere.

I adore this place! They have superb food, their menu is nice, The chief cook in that restaurant is a specialist, I love a lot eating all their food. The dishes are always good, the attitude towards the guests is friendly. I often go to this place and I was never unhappy. I recommend it to all my friends.

Simmzy's went above and beyond to make my best friend feel special on the final night of her bachelorette trip, and I'm so grateful for that! We'd had a string of difficult dining experiences on the trip, but Simmzy's more than made up for those with the exceptional experience they provided. If you're in the mood for a diverse menu of awesome food, a great ambiance, and exceptional service, I strongly recommend heading to Simmzy's!

Crowded and small. Gourmet burger and beers. Ok but there's a trade off when the place is so packed you can't move your arm to eat or drink.

It was never a concern that there’s a well-known restaurant that captured my wondrous moments together with my beautiful soon wife to be. They served in our table all the foods, wines, and desserts. I was delighted with their excellent treatment and accommodation. My fiancée and I were happy to be here at this wonderful restaurant. One thing was for sure, the recommendations that I made reached to all of my friends. Thank you!
