First time here...this place is amazing!!! Very well run...very welcoming...very clean...clientele of all ages were classy and considerate of each other...very crowded, but seats available everywhere!!! It's actually that big!!! There's parking everywhere along both sides of the street...an other review stated "valet parking only". NOT at all true. You can stay as long as you want, no pressure to get your table back. Again, it's that big!!! Several private and semi-private parties going on, and still there were many tables available...it's that big!!! They exist in at least three warehouse style buildings in succession; the brewery, the main bar and kitchen and more seating...it's that big!!! Good friendly, casual service... Kids are welcome and the play areas are very enticing... Dogs are welcome as well... Delicious "pub" style food...great array of beers... VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! (see photos)

Really nice atmosphere. Lots of outdoor seating. The idea is that you scan the qr code on the table to get the menu...and then order and pay for everything BEFORE you get a waitress... Good in theory but it didn't work and the waitress had to manually key everything in. It turned out to be a long time from when we sat down to our first 🍻 drink... And much longer to receive our food. The burgers were fine...nothing special... But the draft beer was fantastic.

Great place. Very open and SoCal vibe about the place. The bartender was friendly and fun and helpful. The beers were good. The train goes by every so often so it's get really loud. But other than that it's a wonderful place too stop by for good and drinks. The patios are huge. Great location.

This WWII era tool shed on the wrong side of the tracks serves up some of the best beer in the world. The kitchen keeps the hits coming on the food side. Hang out and relax, and let the world rumble by.

Stopped by before a concert at the Hollywood Bowl. Taking the shuttle from the La Zoo to the Hollywood Bowl. Grabbed some food and drinks before heading to the zoo. Great atmosphere and dog friendly. Avocado tacos and lunch special sub were both delicious. No air conditioning is to be noted when visiting on a 100°f day.

Longest brewery review by me, ever - We went for a good evening of brewery beer. The hostess informed we can sit anywhere and we sat at the patio the server will attend us. We said ok, took the table and sat down. And then we thought of taking a look at the taps and started walking towards. The hostess came running & said oh you cannot go to the bar, you have to order at the table. I said let me see what’s available and taste, then I’ll come back and order. She started saying no you cannot do that. I said I’ll be back, she got angry and said you cannot you have to taste and order from the table itself. I was like thinking, is this some school ? For gods sake!! Gimme a break, just let me choose my beer in peace and get a seat where I please 🙏 she was like oh then you have to sit where the umbrellas are !! I was so pissed by then, I said OK. I went and ordered at the bar, the guy at the bar said, kitchens closing you should order food now. We said ok, and ordered a pizza. He asked where are we seated at, we were like we are still thinking. He said, you can sit anywhere, the servers will leave soon so it should not be an issue. Now this lady comes back and says, that’s not ok. I said you guys sort it & she comes back and says I will do an exception once! I was like sure coz I’m not coming back ! And to top it all out pizza never came. My token no is still waiting ! Rudest staff ever. Especially the hostess at entrance, maybe someone should get her a beer.

Beer was delicious, the staff was extremely helpful when asking questions and the food was amazing: the ahi tuna nachos were the perfect mix to my IPA. I wish I had more time to try different beers.

Came for lunch on a Friday. Plenty of seating inside and out. We were there with a large group, kids included. The seating outside under the shade sails was great because the kids could move and play. Server was good and handled a large food order and a variety of drink orders well. The food was above expectations and left everyone satisfied and happy. Nachos were great, garlic fries, barbacoa fries (and even the regular) were great. Burgers, tacos, and the all veggie sandwich - great. Everyone that drank enjoyed their beers. We were there for at least two hours and never felt rushed to leave. Great place.

It was ok… nothing exciting and I felt the menu was limited. The water you have to get from a station area and they don’t have ice and it’s not cold… so that was weird. I enjoyed the environment though and it seemed great for a party.

Obviously came here for the beer but stayed for the food and vibes. The bartender was awesome, really asking the right questions to recommend a good beer. The mango one was shockingly delicious. He also recommended the fried avocado tacos and WOW thank you sir! The fries with pulled pork was disgustingly good, along with the pretzel which is hard to mess up. Really glad I got a chance to stop by here on my trip to LA.

Meeting a friend for lunch, I discovered this fantastic local brewery restaurant tucked in the area between freeway 5 and 134. This restaurant has a huge indoor and patio dining facilities and a big selection of party foods where you can watch different sports games on the TV screens while sipping the freshly brewed beers. This is by far the largest LA base Craft microbrewery and it is now part of Anheuser-Busch family. The restaurant has opened a few more branches through out the Southland and in other states as well. Due to its popularity in craft and IPA beers, many people come here to have parties. In fact, when we were there for lunch, there was a wedding banquet took place in a rented room in the restaurant. The foods were very good . This restaurant serves mostly America comfort food. I had their burger and it was quite delicious. My friend ordered a big tray of nachos and I really like it too. it was perfect for our party of 4. Parking was a bit of a challenge as the parking lot is small and the spots on the road were full. We had to park with a bit of walk. The service was good and efficient. If you enjoy craft beer and wanting try out local breweries, you should definitely put this place as your must visit restaurant.

Pretty cool place for grabbing a lunch and have a chat. Had a burger with fries, it keeps you going. It was a hot day but the atmosphere is kind of chill.

Golden Road’s Atwater Village location is a beer garden atmosphere with superspreader play areas for kids, picnic tables and a bar that’s good for solo diners. Happy Hour is M-F 2-5pm- draft beers and pretzels are $2 off. VEGAN OPTIONS are offered on the menu. The pretzel is huge and included nacho vegan cheese which needs improvement. Upon request, ceramic not plastic ramekins are provided.🌎 The vegan burger is made with impossible burger and chorizo meats and American style cheese. Keep expectations at pub food level if eating here. Service is friendly and top notch!! This is a good place to go for beer lovers- Prost! 🍻

Nice sitting outside. Nice breeze. Got hot chicken wings. Not hot in anyway. Not spicy hot or heat hot, like fresh from the kitchen. Wings were cold so skin was chewy. Had to ask 3 times for my pepsi. Had to chase someone down for silverware and napkins. Fried pickles good. Thought pricey for what we got. You see what we got? Plus 1 draft beer and my pepsi and was $45.99. Maybe that's just Calif.

Missing beer on tap but wanting to be careful about Covid? Golden Road has a big selection of their beers on tap. And tons of outdoor and near outdoor seating so plenty of fresh air. Plus it’s very dog friendly. Staff is very friendly and makes sure you’re not waiting for your next beer. I had not visited in a while and was pleasantly surprised to see they renovated their bathrooms. Also pleased to see sign in women’s restroom about offering to help get you a ride home if you’re not feeling safe.

perfect place. excellent draft beer. Great service. The girl taking the order (forgot to ask her name, said she was from Canada) was just perfect. Thank you very much, the order was taken out on time, everything was very tasty.

I have been here once before, but this time I was disappointed that everything I was interested in they were out of. Got a couple of drinks and a dessert. The brownie was as pictured, $11, ice cream separate - not included. Def not worth it... The service was pretty alright tho.

11-26-21: Came here for the after Thanksgiving 5k Run. The event was a lot of fun. The course was well marked and had workers stationed to direct you to the right direction 👍. Got to burn off some of the Thanksgiving calories! The event was very well organized. After the run, you get a breakfast burrito to go with a 🍺! Thank you Golden Road for putting on a fun run!

Nice brewery. Reasonable beer prices. Nice Happy Hour! Ample parking. Food is expensive and portions are large. I was really confused by the mini fork that I was given. I ordered nachos and they portion was too large for lunch and 1 person! The chips tasted burnt. Everything else was good.

Even though the menu has been reduced significantly, the food that they do offer is as good as it ever was. But the real reason to go is the beer selection and the outdoor/ dog-friendly setting. If you're a sports fan, great game-watching setup.

This is a really nice brewery with a very large outdoor patio area. It has various large big screen tvs outside so you can enjoy all of your favourite games. I did see various people with children lots of families They accommodate up to a group of 8 Comfortably With music playing in the background it is the perfect location to come with your friends or family and enjoy their great beer selection is huge.

We ordered Trapdoor and Vanilla rice which were not bad. I love bitter IPA bit Trapdoor was not bitter one. It was fruity IPA. The classic burger and Garlic parmesan fries was okay level. The burger came with medium rare which was great since they only had two choice either medium or well done. The fries were a bit salty especially Garlic Parmesan one. The place was spacious and plenty of space any number of group. I also loved the TVs were everywhere and the server switch the channel for you if you know the channel # you want to watch. Overall, we will definitely come back here later.

My daughter had her wedding reception here. It was a wonderful place for the event. I didn't get to try the food from here yet but the trays of food coming out the kitchen looked SO GOOD we will go back and check out out. The place was SUPER crowded before the Dodger fans left for the game. After that the ambiance was nice and very comfortable with room to roam around.

First time here. Place was nice. Parking I'd a slight hassle, it's mostly on the street. Fun games for the kids inside. It's very dog friendly. Really liked that. Food is decent enough. The sprite is excellent. Kids got Shirley temples and they loved them. Our food though? Was cold. We got the nachos. It was cold. just passed warm. Got the BBQ bacon burger and that fries were on the wrong side of warm too. Burger was fine. Wasn't hot but it wasn't on the wrong side of warm.

Great mostly outdoorsy spot with an abundant section of drinks and a great selection of food. Lots of TV’s all around for any kind of sport you’d ever want to watch (just ask them). The pretzel 🥨 really good! Family friendly spot for gatherings. Friendly and attentive staff. Would definitely recommend.

If you want a place to drink, listen to music, & hang out with friends - this would definitely be the place. If you want to eat a decent meal & have good customer service -- DO NOT come here! I've had better day-old french fries from McDonald's! The patty-melt was just "ok" - my college age daughter's salad was bland. We ended up leaving over half the food behind - that's after I had to get our own waters, utensils, & ketchup from another table!

Always a good time coming here, which has been often for the past few years. The beer is good, the food is good, and overall the vibe is great. Parking is tough when the pace is busy, so try to come during off hours during the week. The place is kid friendly so it's a welcoming environment for families. I will say though, the price for specialty beers in growlers is a little high: 1 oz/$1. 32 oz for $32 to fill up a growler lol I mean what, that's not even a full 3 beer cans. Only Con I've encountered here.

We got to experience Spain play against Germany in the World Cup here! This was definitely the place to be! The place was packed! Free paella. The options for the paella were sea food or vegetarian. I have to mention golden road IPAs and a mango cart rimmed with chamoy go hand in hand with fútbol anxiety. The ambiance was exciting! So many enthusiastic fans! Golden road brewery did great hosting the World Cup!

This is a new find for me even though we live pretty close. It's never too packed and easy to get a table. Great beer selection and food options. I love more than anything to sit in the patio / porch area and have a beer and watch the trains go by. It really makes for a perfect evening.

  • 4/5 Travis L. 2 years ago on Google
Visited on a rainy day and it was still pretty busy! One drawback was the chilly interior. It seems it's just too big and open a space to get heated up adequately. Fun atmosphere though. Seems like they have a beer for everyone, light and fruity all the way to dark and creamy. Veggie burger is rice heavy if that matters to you.

  • 5/5 Diran A. 1 year ago on Google

Great place to get some good beer and food, even if you have a lot of people with you. We went there without knowing, that there was an event going on. At first we were not sure if this was the right thing for us, but it was a lot of fun. The dressed up staff had a great sense for how much people were willing to play along and did not force anyone to participate that was not willing to do so.
