The food and service were absolutely excellent. We went on a Tuesday night around 8pm and got a table right away. I ordered the trenne and it was delicious. The noodles are crispy yet soft and the portion of braised prime rib eye was generous. My only complaint is that they sat our party of 4 at a tiny table. We barely had enough room for our entrees and drinks, otherwise the experience was great.

Love this place. Brunch, lunch or dinner is always perfect. Service was great too. Been here for many times and I never give any review. But this time , I gotta do it. The staff members are friendly and doing a great job. I placed an order for a bday cake and they can recommend you what they have. They’re not pushy, they will let you take your time to decide. Of course don’t leave this place without having a dessert 🍮 Place is so clean and presentable as always.

I’ve always liked Bottega Louie. You can always expect great service and excellent food! This time we came for a Sunday brunch. It wasn’t too crowded when we got there, and the vibe was lively and chill. Our server was friendly and efficient, and I loved her great smile on a Sunday morning! I really liked the Farmer’s Market Breakfast that I ordered. It was fresh, simple, and fulfilling. My husband ordered the goat cheese omelette, and he enjoyed it very much. However, there was a HUGE disappointment with our order of plain croissant. I’m 100% sure they reheated it in a microwave instead of an oven. I’m a seasoned cook and I can tell from the first bite that the crispy crust of the croissant was completely ruined by the heating up in the microwave. That’s why I only gave it a 3 star this time.

Love this place, the glamorous vibe and design are so fun and their food is exquisite. We got some macaroons and they were the freshest most delicious ones I have ever tasted! Woohooo I recommend the cotton candy and salted caramel! They also have the most beautiful delicate pastries that are not only eye candy but a real treat. This is a great place for a date night or day, or you can stop by for their baked goods and sweet treats! Simply fave!

Impeccable service! My friends had Pasta and Pizza and said they’re good. Steak is good too. Really good portion, you can share it. The pastries and cakes are yummy and cute. Cocktails are creative. This location does not take reservation so just walk in, they have plenty of seating. Pay parking is not very far from the restaurant too, I think we paid $7.

Wonderful atmosphere though a bit loud because of high ceilings and no carpeting. The food was excellent - good portions and made with care. Club sandwich was good and the calamari was tasty. Desserts were good too, and visually satisfying too! Park next-door on the weekends for $7 instead of the $18 valet ($20 including tip). Highly recommended.

Bottega Louie serves up a dichotomy of experiences, punctuated by an impeccable service that overshadows its seating plan, which, frankly, I found less charming. If you’re an early bird, be prepared for a brief intermission post-brunch service. The Margherita pizza is a high note – a melody of fresh ingredients on a perfectly charred crust. It was, in many ways, harmonized by the attentive and commendable server we had – truly a standout performance in the hospitality orchestra. The cocktail offerings hit the right notes for an occasional drinker like myself, while the bread soloed as an unremarkable accompaniment. Dive into the salad, and you’ll find an abundance of crab meat, which was a pleasant surprise, though a dash of corn could elevate the ensemble. Consistency was the theme, with each forkful delivering a reliable taste. The chicken Parmesan, with its side of pasta, was the show’s headliner, thoroughly outshining my partner’s Trenne pasta, which seemed to lose its texture, resembling more of a chip than a symphony of flavors. Portion sizes are generous, ensuring no curtain call on an empty stomach. However, despite the culinary crescendos, there’s no encore beckoning us back. Bottega Louie was a good act, but with the distance from our home stage, it’s uncertain if the performance was compelling enough for a repeat audience. In the end, Bottega Louie is like a solidly reviewed play – you’re glad you saw it, but you don’t necessarily feel the pull to see it again.

I tried the beautiful cakes. They are fancy enough! The Tiramisu is not as good as I thought. But the Napoleon and the Celebration ones are good in taste. The atmosphere is somehow dark at night. Might try the dining option next time.

Had a great meal today at Bottega. We got a hamburger and a Cobb salad; which we shared. I adore well done, crispy fries and that is exactly what we got with the burger. The Cobb salad was really well done. I do not like heavy dressing and this salad was just right! We also got some croissants 🥐 to go! Can’t come here without a sweet to take home so we also bought a lemon tart. Can’t wait for dessert!!

We came here for light dinner as it’s only 5 mins walk from my hotel Hilton. We did not make any reservation and waited less than 10 mins for our table of 2. There was complimentary bread with butter. We shared a plate of carbonara which was really good. We also shared a large macaron for desserts. The place was quite noisy.

The Titanic after it sunk. A cavernous space, with annoying acoustics. The pastries are in oversized proportions to match the space. A fork and knife is needed to cut an almond croissant, which has a filling with the consistency of porridge. If you choose the bar area which I did, the bartender will take your order, but lucky me he was busy talking to one customer and I had to ask for my chai tea whereabouts which came tepid and with a sugar overdose. I can see the attraction of this place for mothers with sugar loving kids or tea parties. But if you are looking for quiet, healthy and professional service this is not the place.

I recently celebrated my birthday at your LA restaurant and while there were some positive aspects, overall, it wasn't the experience I had hoped for. Despite making a reservation well in advance, I was only able to secure a table for 10 pm, even though there were plenty of empty tables visible from the building across the street. I tried calling several times to see if I could get in earlier, but unfortunately, my calls went unanswered. Upon arrival, I was pleased to be seated earlier than expected, which was a positive start. However, things took a downturn when we discovered that the appetizer we wanted was not available. Additionally, the wait for our pizza was exceptionally long, to the point where I had finished my main dish before it arrived. The lack of dessert options not being offered and the disappearing act of our waiter further added to the disappointment. While I understand that every establishment can have off days, I had hoped for a more enjoyable birthday dinner. I appreciate the effort made to seat us earlier, but the overall experience fell short of my expectations. I believe there is room for improvement in terms of communication, menu availability, and attentive service. Despite this experience, I remain hopeful that will take this feedback constructively and work towards providing a more consistent and memorable dining experience for their guests.

Nice pastries, on the pricier side. Tried a few macarons, raspberry chocolate slice, Strawberry eclair, and several breakfast items. Def enjoyed them..had some unique flavours like Sesame/raspberry, guava, passionfruit/matcha

We went for weekend brunch. Highly recommend the margherita pizza. Avoid the Belgium waffles. Hard and dry. They did warn us it was hard. Carbonara was yummy. Belini was the best I’ve ever had. The smoked salmon hash was also tasty.

Third time here and never disappoints. Top notch pizzas and pastas. My son's friend had the salmon and she said it was the best fish she ever had. Came for dinner so Beignets were sold out 😭.

Food was great. My favorite was Carbonara. All the pizzas are really good. This place has high ceiling so if they are pack with people, it is so loud but overall everything was good. Personally, Their best dessert is Napoleon and celebration.

First time for me here. My brother and his family have been here repeatedly. We came Saturday noon and was able to get a table of 9 pretty fast. We parked around the corner parking lot $7 all day parking on Saturday. Food was excellent. We had breakfast/lunch. Salad/Benedict/sandwiches/pizza. Chocolate soufflé $16 and pancake were fantastic. We like the ambiance/service/food. We will come back

Ordered a buffet of items to celebrate my sibling's birthday. Pros: outstanding and charming service. Simple posh environment. Fresh and high quality ingredients. Strong and robust coffee. Quality and clean silver plated utensils. Clean linens. Presentable decor and displayed bakery items. Generous use of gold color contrasted with marble white. Cons: the actual neighborhood location in downtown LA not ideal for this type of restaurant. A bit stuffy and humid inside the restaurant. Climate seemed slightly uncomfortable.

Popped in for some macaroons after having dinner next door. Easily one of my new spots in DTLA for a drink and desert. Tons of desert options, super moody, aesthetically pleasing inside and actually delicious. Macaroons were packed with flavor. Will be back soon!

Lots of bakery options and the sweets are really a highlight. we had a very nice brunch with delicious dishes and good options to share. My point of attention is regarding diet restrictions, there are almost no options for restricted diets on the menu

It's been a while since I've been here. They have a large menu selection, something for everyone. It is on the very expensive side and very small servings. They no longer provide bread. Great Bakery section if you do not want to have a meal. It gets noisy when it is full. I took two marks off as they added a 5% fees. I'm not sure why customers have to pay for staff insurance. Pay your staff. The fee is printed really small at the end of a very large printed menu. The server has attentive.

Relaxed atmosphere. I was here mid afternoon. They have a great selection of yummy sweets, a bar and a restaurant. Some of the best sweets I have had on my trip. Coffee is alright, coming from Aus, most coffee around here needs work 😀 WiFi connection is great, though you’ll need to request the password from the staff. Grab a seat by the window for some prime city people-watching at a bustling crossroads.

Yesterday I stopped by in person on my way to the movies and made a reservation for a 8:30 pm dinner. When I arrived there the hostess said I had to wait 10 to 15 minutes for the table even though the restaurant was empty. I pointed out the table that I wanted which was available and she kind of stepped on in front of me to stop me from walking towards the direction of the table. I went to the bar with my husband and I saw two groups entering and getting tables. I’m wondering what kind of motivation went into this lady’s mind to treat me like that. The food was ok, the waiter was very nice and professional. This place needs better hostess. I don’t recommend eating there.

Wow, what an experience! We happened upon this place while walking by after dinner at SUGARFISH, and I am so glad we did! The space is absolutely gorgeous, it makes you feel very cosmopolitan. We only stopped for the bakery side—although I definitely want to go back and try their full restaurant. Everything in the bakery is simply mesmerizing, and the taste matches the spectacular visuals. It is absolutely worth the price. I ended up grabbing the Raspberry Chocolate and the Fruit Tart, and both were simply delectable. A really fun experience, even just to visit! I can’t recommend it enough. Excited to check out their other locations!

Being half Italian I feel I can spot a great Italian meal right when I taste it so after stopping in for Valentines dinner tonight I can say that this is delicious food and nothing like so many of the non authentic Italian restaurant chains all around the US. They have a great selection of desserts and many will be stopping in for those, but the restaurant service is the real best part. They don’t take reservations, nor can you put your name on a waitlist digitally like they say they can do on their VM, but still we only waited 25 minutes tonight and it was worth it. I had to get an Italian Soda to drink with my meal because they have been something that I have loved since childhood but rarely see anymore, so if you’re in the mood for something sweet I would highly recommend ordering one. For the food we ordered the Carpaccio to start and it was very good and for $18 it was a fair price. For our entrees we got the Carbonara (which was my favorite) and the Burrata pizza. I can say the pizza is the best that I’ve had in DTLA, Pizzanista is my other favorite, I was pleasantly surprised how good it was. It had crisped garlic on top and they went above by cooking the spinach before adding it to the pizza which is the authentic way and sadly many other places don’t focus on the smaller details as well. Overall a casual and delicious meal. It’s priced fairly and can get very busy depending on the day and time so I would be prepared to wait around a half an hour to be seated. I will be back again soon.

So, I've heard rave reviews about this place And I was working in the area so I decided to finally give it a shot for lunch. I called ahead to make sure lunch reservations weren't required, and they weren't. I spoke to a really nice woman on the phone also named Michelle and we had a brief conversation about her favorite food items that I should eat. I walked inside and was quickly seated. They brought water immediately and placed the piece of bread in the center of my small table. I ordered the "Calabrese" Pizza by recommendation and since I'm pescatarian, ordered it with no salami. I also ordered the gazpacho. The bread was good, however it wasn't warm like I thought it would be and the butter was refrigerated, so really hard to spread. I asked my waitress for some soft butter and she brought some back in no time! I was still kind of sad the bread wasn't warm but I got over that pretty quickly when the gazpacho arrived. They placed a large white bowl in front of me with flowers and herbs on the side and a man with what looked like a wine decanter poured the gazpacho into the bowl. It was a very cool experience and the gazpacho was absolutely delicious. The pizza blew me away way more than I thought it was going to. The spicy with the mixture of the honey drizzle on top was absolute perfection. The best part about lunch by myself here, having plenty of leftovers for later. I look forward to coming back and will update if my experience exceeds my expectations.

I love this place every time I visit. Their dessert display when you first enter is gorgeous. Parking is available around the area, either on the street or in a parking structure. There was no wait time for 2 people around 12:45pm on a Friday. This time we got a portobello fries, a margarita pizza and a pasta. Plenty for lunch and for left overs.

Our first time to this place, and we realized we needed to have pizza when we saw their chefs tossing and baking handmade pizza in their pizza oven. We ordered their sausage, margherita & calabrese pizzas for 8 of us. They arrived with nicely crisped thin crusts. All of them were delicious! A couple in the group also had lasagne & short ribs, which they said was yummy. To accompany our main dinner, we ordered fried calamari, Caesar salad, arugula salad & brussel sprouts. We enjoyed them, but note that the brussel sprouts were not prepared whole, nor halved; rather, they were cut up & their layers then taken apart. Of all our dishes, this was our least favorite, as it tasted a bit burnt & bitter. We must have arrived hangry, as we had a LOT of leftovers: about 1 - 1/2 pizzas & half the lasagne. Their food is very tasty, but we suggest ordering 50% of the amount you think you want, or be prepared yo take lots of food home. On the way out, we got a box of their mararons to share. They were light, fresh & a nice bite to end an evening of dining.

We got the chicken fricassee, carbonara and some appetizer. Loved the meatball appetizer. The chicken fricassee was cooked well but too bland for that price. Great atmosphere and amazing options at the bakery.

I visited here to celebrate my birthday. Despite not making any reservations, I easily got a table around 4 PM on a weekday without waiting. The seat I got was near the pizza oven, which made it uncomfortably hot and far from an enjoyable dining experience. I had the onion soup as a starter, which was delicious, especially the part baked with cheese on top. For the main course, I ordered two types of pasta. One of them was carbonara pasta with added shrimp, which I realized was an extra $50 when calculating the bill. While the shrimp was large and tasty, I couldn't help but think it would have been better if the server had mentioned the price when taking the order, considering it's quite expensive. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant is quite clean and stylishly presented. However, the staff seemed a bit indifferent, and I didn't find the service from the servers particularly good. It's a decent place to enjoy a casual meal or a date, but if you're looking for better service and taste, I wouldn't recommend it.

This is what dream are made of. What a delight. Had all the pastries - all delicious but the caramel one is delectable. The lobster hash may be the best meal I’ve ever had in my life. We went 3 times in a single 3 day weekend trip 😅

Beautiful place. Love the decor. Love the ambience. I came here for my birthday for lunch and had the pasta. It looked so good and tasted just as good. My friend ordered the pizza and oh boy, we thought it was the size for one person but it wasn't! It was gigantic. U can probably feed 4 people. We tried the truffle pizza, was pretty good and unique. The gift shop was so pretty. I wanted to buy everything there as the packaging was so nice. It's best for breakfast or brunch here. Make a reservation if you are coming on the weekend. Less people during the weekday.

This place is amazing, and I love the food. I come here once a month with my friend. The food is on point and delicious. I definitely recommend the burger and the pizza and the Brussel sprouts with walnut and the steak i so good i devour the wholething. Their hot chocolate is delicious. The chocolate souffle is so good, nice and fluffy, and not overly sweet.

A must visit, fabulous restaurant if you are visiting LA and you are hungry and looking for a nice dining experience. This restaurant is so vast with an open floor plan and feels relaxed but also rich! The food here is very very tasty, especially the portobello fries and the variety of pizzas. You can see the cook preparing the Pizza live. And the macaroons....they are one of a kind!! You have to have the macaroons without fail, if you are visiting this place. The macaroon section at the front of the restaurant as you enter is a sight worth taking in. Ot's usually busy all the time with many folks waiting ro pick up their macaroons. Overall, this restaurant is an experience everyone visiting LA should have!

Just a great overall great date spot. The service was impeccable from staff. The hamburger was perfect with the aioli, their drinks delicious, and their desserts on point. There’s surprisingly a lot of seating, so it’s a nice spot to come with a group after an event.

I only tried pastries and not their hot food so I can only speak on that. The pastries were good. Overpriced and not as good as I expected them to be based on how good everything looked and how good the reviews were but yea. I wouldn’t come back here for the macarons. I spent basically $50 on a dozen macarons and they were just okay. I’ve had much better ones than here so I probably wouldn’t return. It was very nice inside though and the display in the bakery was beautiful.

It was 2018 when it was the last time I went to Bottega Louie. Although the restaurant has been closed during COVID, the food is still good during this visit. The shrimp was amazing for sure! The dragon food drink also impressive. Salmon, pasta, salad were all good! 5 star restaurant for real!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this charming restaurant, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with tasteful decorations that added to the overall appeal of the place. The menu, though concise, offered a carefully curated selection of dishes, ensuring that each item was prepared with the utmost attention to detail. One dish that truly stood out was the tartufo pizza. Topped with egg and prosciutto, it was a delightful twist on the classic pizza, and the combination of flavors was simply divine. The richness of the prosciutto paired perfectly with the creamy egg, creating a unique and delicious blend that left me craving for more. What I appreciated most about the restaurant was the focus on quality over quantity. Despite having a limited number of options on the menu, each dish was crafted with care and precision, showcasing the chef's culinary expertise. The staff was attentive and friendly, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The location of the restaurant was also a plus, conveniently located in a bustling area, making it a perfect spot for a casual lunch or a cozy dinner. While there are other dining options nearby, this restaurant truly stands out for its well-executed dishes and inviting atmosphere. Overall, I had a fantastic dining experience, and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a delightful culinary adventure in a beautiful setting. As if the savory dishes weren't enough, the pastry selection at this restaurant is an absolute treat! After enjoying a satisfying lunch or dinner, indulging in their delectable pastries is a must. From decadent cakes to delicate pastries, their dessert menu offers a wide array of options to satisfy every sweet tooth. Each pastry is made with skill and passion, evident in every delightful bite. The combination of rich flavors and exquisite presentation makes for a truly memorable end to a wonderful dining experience. Whether you have a penchant for chocolate delights or prefer fruity tarts, their pastry selection has something to please every palate. It's safe to say that their pastries are nothing short of heavenly, and I highly recommend leaving some room for dessert to truly complete the dining journey at this exceptional restaurant.

The service at Bottega Louie is refined without being pretentious. Excellent staff members who make you feel welcomed, even if you're from out of town. I sat at the bar for lunch and had a fresh bread and crab salad and a perfect negroni and walked out with a couple delightful macaroons. The open kitchen runs efficiently and the Chefs are very professional. The awesome bartenders did not mind entertaining my touristy questions and recommended neighborhoods to stay away from at night-- very helpful! I would recommend this spot for a business meeting, large group outing, or lunch date. Dessert is a must!

Chic spot in DTLA. Perfect for a nice breakfast! The vibe is bistro-like though, I thought it was a French restaurant. The breakfast menu has classic and versatile options. Very good coffee, good portions, great pastries, friendly and quick staff! Definitely coming again on my next trip to LA.

Vibrant atmosphere with great desserts and pastry items and a wonderful selection of Matcha. The host with the Afro and large healed shows should not be sitting with his feet up on a chair in the outside seating area. Not professional!

My cousin took me to this beautiful italian restaurant. I am a huge fan of italian food. I have to say Bottega did not disappoint. Marco our server with the beautiful Italian accent gave us the most excellent service. He explained the menu as well as told us about the special of the day. He was patient and helpful explaining things of the menu. His attitude and smile was fantastic and made me feel so welcomed and wanting to come back which I will be coming back. We ordered the Margarita pizza and the special soup of the day which was delicious. The sauce and mozzarella was of excellent quality, specially the crust. Omg I love a good crust. My main courses was the Mezzelune Ai Porcini a porcini mushroom ravioli with black truffle crème sauce topped with arugula and parmigiana. My cousin built her own pasta dish. Rigatoni and meat balls with a pink sauce. Delicious! Omg and the focaccia bread was so soft and melts in your mouth. Dessert was delicious, sorry can't remember the name but we loved it. 10/10 highly recommend. The esthetic perfect for the people who love to take pictures and post.

Love at first site! It was my first time coming here and definitely won’t be my last. From the food, to the service, to the ambiance 10/10. I recommend anything from their menu or pastries. Next time, I’m coming for their pastas and pizza!
