Just blown away. The pasta tastes so amazing, the sauces are incredible. Very worth the price. Expect $25$ per person. Their cheesecake takes like a wonderful strawberry shortcake. 10/10 would definitely come back. Top knotch service as well.

I always try a new restaurant (or three) during my birthday week. Maccheroni Republic was one for this year. Rated high on Trip Advisor, number 7 in all of LA. After my dinner, I totally agree! The food is DELICIOUS! service is excellent, and the atmosphere is nice. The shrimp appetizer was incredible, Ceaser salad well prepared, and the pasta was amazing!!! The pasta tasted like something I would get back home. It took me back to Italy! I've driven by this restaurant a hundred times since they started in business, and I never noticed it. I will definitely be back! Come and try this unassuming, but amazing place!!! Update: my third visit to this restaurant. Still as great as the first time! Very consistent, excellent food and attentive service. Still takes me back to Italy!!! My last visit a couple days ago. Still amazing! Food is excellent, the service is attentive, and it reminds me of a restaurant in Italy. Can't do better in LA! Nice also that after just a few visits they recognize me and come to say "welcome back!" Update: still a great restaurant! Come and try delicious food and excellent service!

This is my favorite restaurant in Los Angeles. I have tried at least 7-8 different dishes, and every single one of them blew my mind by how delicious they were. Portions are very reasonable, and the price is good for the quality of food and the service experience you receive. All pastas are housemade, and there is a cheap bar across the street. You can grab a quick beer or two waiting for your table.

This is authentic Italy in downtown Los Angeles. It is like I entered a passageway to Italy when I walked into the restaurant! I had the lasagna and it was amazing. My wife had the spinach and ricotta tortellini and I couldn’t decide which was better. Great service, great drinks, relaxed and comfortable atmosphere and reasonable prices. It’s a complete win!

Average food. Nothing to jump up and down about, fresh made pasta, nothing but pasta. it’s really good for the business profitability. We were duped by the photos of the dishes; We were drawned by sight but my palate remains very upset with my eyes for my tounge was deceived. The service staff needs to be be trained from scratch, dishes are dropped off at tables, tables that are begging for replacement. It matters not who ordered the dish, the guests are left to sort the plates out. An automatic tip of 18 percent is added to your bill, our party was 2 adults, two children; tip was non negotiable, part of the restaurants, sub par sevice. Would I return again, very unlikely, would I recommend this place, highly unlikely. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs; the meatballs were composed of other things but meat; who would blame the owner when their objective is profitability. I also ordered a glass of wine, this place doesn’t have wine glasses, surprise surprise.

The pasta here is really good, worth returning to. All freshly made in-house. The garlic bread also was yummy. There can be a long wait so I recommend coming during a weekday or lunch to avoid that. Not sure why they haven't started any kind of reservation system, at this point, every restaurant in LA is on either OpenTable or Resy. Parking in this area is not fun, area can be sketchy at night if you are a female by yourself.

To say the least this place is phenomenal. I haven't had authentic Italian food since I was in Italy over five years ago. The staff were awesome, polite, and kindly ignored my blonde moment when I asked for something that was already on the table. The food is delicious. Filling and rich with flavor, the noodles were done perfectly, and the garlic bread was amazing; garlic in every bite. I'm so happy to have found a restaurant that puts care into their food. The venue is cute on the outside and very rustic within, made me think of a place I'd eaten hidden away in the streets of Florence. 10/10 will absolutely be recommending to everyone I know.

Amazing pasta! Hands down, the best pasta I’ve tried in a long time. My favorite was Pasta Alfredo, so good that we ended up ordering it twice. Other pasta that I’d recommend: tortellini, rigatoni, lasagna and the one with sea food. The ambience is very relaxing, It feels like you’re in a backyard. The service could have been better, I felt like they didn’t pay that much attention. The prices are affordable. Either way, I’d definitely recommend this place if you want to eat good pasta!

Fresh handmade pasta in different textures and flavors. Good wine selection. The gnocchi here are extremely soft and pillow-y. Finally! We all thought we were too "adult" to get the mac 'n cheese so we almost didn't get it. That would have been a huge regret in my life because this is the star dish! Get it! Make sure you get the Panna Cotta for dessert...please! It's super creamy and has a chocolate/coffee flavor that is to die for. Thank you Maccheroni Republic for your establishment!

We parked at the parking garage right next to it. They do validate parking. It was $16 for 8 hours. We had lunch there and no wait time. The pasta was delicious. We had alfredo, macaroni and cheese and a seafood pasta. We enjoyed all the dishes. Tiramisu was yummy.

It was really good Italian restaurant which i recommend it for sure. Home made pasta with a reasonable price and good taste. it has a nice outside table which we used and nice staffs. they bring you bread and you have olive oil and balsamic on the table. We ordered Pappardelle Alfredo Con Pollo and Lasagna both were pretty good. the restroom wasn't perfect. But I will recommend this place and you get pretty good pastas with good price.

The pasta is always fresh and service was great and very attentive! I had been craving tiramisu for a while and this one did not disappoint. I'll be back soon! My boyfriend and I love this place! It used to be our to go to spot before we moved. What makes this place special to us, is the way the people treat you there, the food is amazing, and the quality has always been very consistent. Also, we love their spicy olive oil and fresh bread! A week ago we were in the area and decided to bring my mom here for her birthday. I am glad that even though Covid19 has drastically impacted everyone, the people that work here continue to provide an exceptional service. Everyone seats outside and all the employees wear a mask. We felt comfortable and were able to enjoy their amazing dishes. In addition, I love that now you can buy fresh pasta. Whenever we are in the area again, we will make sure to stop by and buy a lot more pasta than we did.

Overall, it was a great experience. Everything ordered was really good, from appetizers to entrées. It was nice to see where they actually make their pastas. Servers were all very pleasant. I didnt get any pictures of our dinners because everyone dug in and cleared their plates. Dishes are plated for a single serving.. not to share. Parking garage right next to the restaurant was very convenient. Will definitely be going back.

The best Italian food in downtown LA. Pasta dishes are made fresh. Would recommend the Alfredo based pasta dishes with chicken Parmesan. The lasagna is cooked to perfection. Would 100% recommend this place for the great food along with the great ambience.

The service was amazing. So friendly- se habla español. The bread and olive oil was very tasty, almost addicting. Both pasta dishes, the bigoli della nonna and the lasagna were very yummy. I would highly recommend! Ambiance felt authentically Italian. Pasta is made fresh in a small building adjacent to the entrance, check it out!

Came here by myself when I first moved to LA last year because of the Michelin Star rating. I had the bone marrow and the rigatoni, needless to say, it was the best meal I’ve ever had by myself on a beautiful night in DTLA. Must try and the long wait was truly worth it.

First time here and was lucky to end up in a very nice and delicious place like this. My 2 kids and I ordered the Boccoletti Al Pesto E Ricotta, Rigatoni Pom'Amore, Maccheroni and Cheese. For dessert we shared a flourless chocolate cake and I ordered a cappuccino. Everything was delicious. I'm no "food expert", but I'd give this place 4-4.5 out of 5 stars. We got lucky and got last sitting for lunch (5 minutes before the closed). Place inside is somewhat small, but in most cases that's what makes it quaint and feel more homey. Our waiter was nice, but I could tell that they were ready to just close. Overall it was a great experience!

I wasn't having the greatest luck finding food on a work trip UNTIL I came across this gem. The food was fresh and delicious. The staff were friendly and made sure I was comfortable. I had their signature dish and it was so good, I came back the next day to try another dish. The 2nd time, I made sure to leave room for dessert. Haha. The atmosphere is welcoming and cozy. Would definitely recommend.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Maccheroni Republic in Los Angeles, and I can confidently say that it was a truly delightful experience! From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was enveloped by an inviting atmosphere that instantly transported me to the charming streets of Italy. The service at Maccheroni Republic was exceptional, with the staff radiating genuine Italian hospitality. They were attentive, welcoming, and eager to share their knowledge and passion for the cuisine. Dining there felt like being a part of a big Italian family, creating an atmosphere that was both warm and comforting. Now, let's delve into the highlight of the experience – the food! Maccheroni Republic's menu boasts an impressive selection of authentic Italian dishes, each crafted with care and bursting with flavors that transported me straight to Italy. The ingredients were fresh, the flavors vibrant, and the presentation showcased the simplicity and elegance of true Italian cuisine. To start, I savored a classic Caprese salad, featuring ripe tomatoes, creamy mozzarella, and fragrant basil, all drizzled with the finest extra virgin olive oil. It was a refreshing and delightful way to awaken my taste buds. The pasta dishes truly stole the show – each one cooked to perfection, maintaining that delightful al dente texture, and coated in rich, flavorful sauces. One standout dish was their homemade tagliatelle with a luscious Bolognese sauce. The pasta was incredibly smooth, and the sauce boasted the perfect balance of savory, meaty goodness. It was evident that the pasta was crafted with love and expertise, evoking the flavors of Italy's traditional kitchens. To conclude the meal, I couldn't resist indulging in their heavenly tiramisu. It was a decadent delight! Each layer was exquisitely light, with delicate espresso-soaked ladyfingers harmonizing perfectly with the velvety mascarpone cream. It was an absolute indulgence and a fitting finale to an extraordinary dining experience. Overall, my time at Maccheroni Republic was nothing short of exceptional. From the inviting ambiance to the attentive service and the mouthwatering dishes, every aspect was superbly executed. It truly felt like a genuine Italian culinary adventure right in the heart of Los Angeles. If you're seeking an authentic Italian dining experience, I wholeheartedly recommend visiting Maccheroni Republic. Prepare to be transported to the flavors and warmth of Italy – you won't be disappointed!

The pasta is melt in your mouth delicious, incredibly simple and full of flavor. I had the dish with wild boar, well seasoned and the sauce is robust and delightful. The burrata starter was also rich and highly enjoyable. Additional plus, the wine recommended by the server paired well. Loved it.

I love this place! We dine here often because the ambience is great, staff is super friendly and helpful, and most importantly the food is excellent. Black and White pasta w shrimp and gnocchi are my favorites (although sometimes under salted- an easy fix). If they had a weakness it would be the desserts, but maybe you’ll have better luck with that than we did.

We all enjoyed the food and the service was flawless. We'll definitely come back! 5 of us were there and we tasted 10 different dishes. Each one was tasty. The pasta was certainly new. Theneat dishes were watering their mouths. We ate so much that we weren't able to stomach dessert.

Certainly the best Italian cuisine in Downtown Los Angeles, possibly even the city. Everything is made fresh, including the pasta, the sauce, and the bread. You would be doing yourself a grave disservice to not try the food here at least once in your life!

their popular signature pasta dish, which comes with black and white pasta thin vermicelli, shrimp, mushroom, and roasted pancetta in a creamy bisque. For some reason ours didn't come with roasted pancetta, but it didn't "make or break it," the creamy sauce is very delicious with the pasta.

This is a go-to restaurant for pasta dishes using fresh dishes and delicious ones if you will. I liked the Spaghetti Bolognese dish whenever the carbs craving hits. The best part, at least for me, is they use fresh ingredients and the meal is prepared for you when you order it. Some might not like to wait, but I don't mind for good, no-frills, tasty food. Protein is extra, and veggies are free.

Well not really sure where these 1 star reviews are coming from but my husband and I LOVED the food. Coming from 2 people who have eaten chicken all their lives, we are highly impressed. We ordered the garlic Parmesan wings, Cheddar wings, and the Fire Chicken Sandwich. Chicken was cooked to perfection. Breast was surprisingly tender and we're usually not a fan of Chicken Breast. Oh forgot about the corn cheese. Yes it's a little expensive, but it had good flavor to top everything off. Hubby says the chicken sandwich with egg is a MUST HAVE. Service was very nice and the place looks great! We live in Santa Clarita and we will definitely travel 20+ miles to come back again. If you're looking for wing stop flavor, I'm sure it's at your local shopping center. Expect better coming here.

Gluten-free options and the tickle tree name made the collective choice for lunch after hiking at Deukmejian Wilderness Park. The Soba Noodle Salad (made with buckwheat noodles) was good enough that I'll go out of my way to come here again. The textures and flavors were wonderfully fresh and satisfying. A definite top notch stop for gluten-free and dairy-free options.

I was just here for lunch, and I'm sure that dinner was just as wonderful. It begins with the chef's complimentary goods. Not a luscious bouche, either a soup or farro salad. The pasta is perfectly baked, the Branzino is delicate and flavoured beautifully.

Their chicken kabob sandwich and chicken kabob plate are excellent. Chicken is juicy, not dry. The hummus is standard but good! The rice is cooked well and their green salad and dressing are good. More often than not, the food does take a long time to come out. For the kabob is because they grill the chicken to order (so I've been told). I've found that the service is generally on the slower side no matter what you order though. The best thing to do is call your order ahead and pick up. The ambience is not great in the restaurant so I usually take my order to go.

One of my favorite restaurants they always have fresh pasta and seafood every time I come. You always need a reservation ahead of time because they fill up very fast since it's a small restaurant but this will always be an all time favorite spot for seafood pasta next time I'm in San Francisco I'll be sure to dine here again.

Great scene for tasty Italian food. Super appetizing. Quick and friendly service. This place has a nice design. Kinda of like a place in Houston that I enjoyed.

It is both a nice indoor and outdoor dining restaurant with romantic, relaxing and chill ambiance . Attentive waitstaffs. Reasonable priced menu, wished the menu , however was more extensive and inclusive of more meat products. There are several varieties of Chinese cuisine available, as well as a bake shop selling exquisite pastries perfect for gifts and desserts. I waited for a table for about twenty five minutes but it was worth it.

Best Pizza I have ever had in Cali. The classic is my favorite, you can not go wrong with that one. It is always extremely busy, so just expect a long wait, but it is definitely worth it. I crave their pizza just about every week. I have had deep dish busy from many places, and the crust is unexplainably good. If you are looking for a great pizza in SF, look no further.

They need to add a curbside pick up location....stop being so greeti.... get that done it will help allot the picking up and people would not be risking a ticket all the time
