Food: 10/10 across the board Service: 10/10 floor manager even put down a screen to block the sun for us (qr code ordering. I'd love to see them outside of their covid adaptation) Atmosphere: 10/10 Great experience. So many items to choose from it was hard to pick. But did not have a bad choice. "I am pure" salad was marvelous and a table favorite "I am sharing" was fantastic. I highly recommend asking for tortilla chips and the ones provided were to die for

Everything I tried was fantastic! I actually didn’t even realize it was a vegan restaurant when I decided to try it out. I was definitely not disappointed. The outdoor patio was nice and parking is free for the first two hours.

I have a Café Gratitude back in Kansas City, but it doesn't hold a candle to the one in the Arts District. This café was absolutely outstanding. Atmosphere, service, food, all five stars. We had a nice dinner and conversation here the night we arrived in Los Angeles. So much food was had as well! We grabbed the Margherita Pizza, the Calamari, and I got the local meal. It was all so far beyond my expectations. I kind of wanted dessert, but I knew I didn't have the room for it in me, anymore.

Just got there waiting for our Air BnB in the complex and had a taste of the delicious ice cream and coffee. Say what you want about the names of the dishes, what you get is great ice cream and coffee in a nice ambience, probably the friendliest service staff I encountered in all of California and all of that at a fair price.

Café Gratitude is a gratifying experience. I had a delicious eggplant Parmesan sandwich after a hot, sunny day walking around the arts district. Parking is a challenge and the food is pricey but ultimately worth it. You’ll have a hard time choosing from the well stocked menu!

The creator behind this restaurant is methodical and well appreciated. Upon walking in the restaurant you are greeted with a welcome spirit and see quotes are seen around the walls. Our server had great recommendations. The menus were super cute and each dish had an affirmation as their name, which I loved. We had the I Am Thrilled (pumpkin spiced brioche french toast) which was super tasty and I Am Sharing (the nachos) which were well balanced and full of nutritious goodness. I got the Yo soy fuerte (the crunch wrap with side yams). The yams had too much rosemary for me. My friend had the I Am Glorious (blackened tempeh Cesar wrap) which is his favorite item on the menu. He had a side of fries, which were good. Overall, enjoyed this restaurant.

Very underrated place. Always loved their baked goods but really those Croissants are amazing with crisp outside but fresh soft insides. I really favor this should be highlighted with their sandwich options. Saw in small print you can do this. Also their coffee was so good. Didn't even see a sign for coffee but you can clearly see the long pull coffee machine. Reminded me of my trip to Montreal where had some of my most favorite coffees. Nice interior and set up and plate had fresh ingredients served on freshly baked French bread. Will come back.

Really good food. If you’re in LA area and you’re looking for something vegan or vegetarian friendly for yourself or for a date this is a great option.

We loved everything about this wonderful café: healthy plant based nutrient-dense food and drinks (they have house made sprouted almond and coconut milks); cool ambience; possibility to customize your dishes; amazing staff (super professional and mega friendly). Definitely a great place for healthy food lovers!🌱😋

First time here! First off, the staff is very friendly, fast and very helpful! (Had allot of questions) The atmosphere is very clean and inviting. The food selection is very good. I am very new to Vegan food but the enchiladas and cheesecake I tried today were to die for! I would highly recommend this place!

I hesitate to write a bad review during Covid-19, but I've gotten horrible tasting food during these times, last night I ordered the Elated Enchiladas which I've had several times and it just wasn't the same, firstly it was especially bland almost like baby food. Earlier around April, I got the Black Bean Burger and it looked liked poo, so I called and complained to the manager just to inform her about the quality, and decided to try them again last night just to end up wasting the $60 I spent. I realize things are challenging with the shut downs and perhaps it wasn't their usual cook. I would like to give them another try, and I will say the Nachos were good.

We had a fabulous dinner. I Am Extraordinary & I Am Fuerte (you need to see the menu to understand the titles). The servings were more than enough to share. The atmosphere, staff, and service were outstanding. A must try for non-vegans to see that we don't need to eat animal flesh.

I cannot speak for others, but I had a bad experience here. First off, we ordered just two hot drinks and a cinnamon roll, and the order took over fifteen minutes (closer to twenty) to come to us. Then the cinnamon roll tasted old, and my coffee drink was lukewarm and not well made at all. When paying boutique prices, one should be able to expect high quality products and services. I experienced neither. My usually very easygoing partner was insistent that I write a review. I am happy to be proven wrong and that my experience was an aberration.

Good place for vegetarian options and conveniently located with validated parking in front of restaurant. Starts are overall good, I'd definitely recommend the Buffalo Cauliflower. Bowls are hearty and will fill you up. Family friendly environment with plenty of indoor seating and limited outdoor seating. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly as well. I'd recommend making reservations on the weekends especially for parties over four people.

The interior is beautiful, the ambiance adds to your eating experience. There are pillows available as decor on each bench booth and candles that make you feel cozy. I'm not exclusively vegan but the food was DELICIOUS!! I was mindblown and had no idea how many different delicious vegan dishes I was missing out on!

Bright location. Delicious vegan food with receptive staff that helped with choosing the food. Definitely good for the soul, body, and mind. Came back again and found hair in one of the dishes. The staff was really apologetic stating all the kitchen staff wears hair nets and were accommodating. update: came back again and it seems as though their food portions got smaller. Taste is still good, but for the price, was expecting a bit more food.

I AM LOVING BOWL... Is the perfect meal. I am not vegan and this bowl was so tasty, flavorful and filling. I would eat here over and over again. I am a big fan of Sweet Green and I feel this is a step above SG and even vegan to boot! I don't know if you have meat converter here but... I will be back here many times over! Thanks to the GM Kim for creating such a memorable vegan experience:) P.S. Loved the Pressed Juice collection.

First time in a full vegan restaurant. The food is amazing. Pictured here is the enchiladas. GREAT flavors. We also had the cauliflower buffalo with vegan ranch. Also awesome. My sister had the butternut squash pasta which was also wonderful. A nice small variety of beer. The people were helpful and very friendly. Will definitely come here again. Cheers.

We are so satisfied with the overall service. You really made us very happy and contented with your service! Thank you very much, guys!

A premise for a cafe that's easy to poke fun at, but the food is no laughing matter. Sincerely some of the best vegan food I've had in my entire life, without exaggeration. In addition, the waiters are friendly, there's contactless ordering, and the prices are reasonable. Definitely worth a visit!

The great spot and I love the vegan options obviously. The delivery was solid and the food arrived perfect. I think they use quite a lot of excess amounts of packaging but I understand that they want to make sure that the food that is delivered is on par with what they serve in the restaurant. I really enjoyed the burrito and I thought it was really well done. The bowl that I got was also really good it came with some fries or I think they were potato wedges that were fried which I didn't like, I thought that was just too greasy for me. But everything else is really good and if you can afford this kind of food obviously it's incredible and it's not greasy.

It’s certainly not a cheap place, more a place for a festive occasion but the atmosphere in this establishment is warm, welcoming and their selection is wide and almost overwhelming.

This place is so nice ! The food is really good. I had the acai bowl for breakfast and the Green Goddess Salad for lunch! My sister had the vegan margarita. She is not vegan at all, but she enjoyed her meal too! The staff was super friendly and totally responsive.

This is my go-to when I want something that will make me feel good and don't want to cook at home. It's a little pricier than other local options, but it's honestly super worth to me. All plant-based and fills me up. The I Am Loving is my favorite entre, also... it's so cute... their menu items are written in affirmations... which they will say back to you if you order at the counter.

The ambiance, the food, the service and surprisingly the music. Now I see why everyone goes here in LA. The server was sure to let me know what dishes had meat, many of us didn't eat meat, she kept the drinks flowing and everyone was happy. I didn't even mind the wait for the table. Beautiful venue. Don't forget to try the Tuna Pringle's.

I’m not vegan/veg (one day, probably); it’s spots like Cafe Gratitude that make exploring my options fun and encouraging, though. Always clean my plate and the portions are big so that’s a positive sign! Awesome place to explore and try things with friends. I am happy ;)

Needed a quick snack and picked up a slice of the margarita pizza. It was amazing, especially considering it was only $2. In the realm of cheap NYC pizza, it absolutely gets 5 stars. While a lot of cheap NYC pizza I would pick up due to proximity, I would actively make the trip to go back to this place, that's how good it was.

Amazing place! The breakfast food was my favorite (the burrito and waffles), nachos are bomb too! They have shakes and lots of desserts. EVERYTHING IS VEGAN 😄 They service was perfect and I like the atmosphere and music. Trendy, but not pretentious

kind of overrated. its a good breakfast but i'm rating it lower cuz everyone rates it high and i need to balance that shiet out. lines are long and its crowded. you can get a breakfast on the same taste level right up the street at one of those azn spots.

Amazing vegan dishes and excellent service at the Arts District location, as usual. Dined in the covered patio where overhead heaters made it very comfortable. This was our first visit since the pandemic started. Ordering and paying the bill were smooth and contactless (via QR code posted on the table & toasttab website where the menu was nicely displayed). No reservations necessary. My non-vegan family members were super impressed by everything we ordered and we had quite a feast. The social distancing protocols and mask wearing were the norm for both the staff and customers, so everything felt very safe. Will go back soon for another birthday celebration or special event!

This place is AMAZING. Order the "Trust Me" and enjoy. The Original in Honolulu is possibly one of the greatest sushi places on earth. This can settle for one of the better spots in LA. But philosophy is the same!

  • 4/5 Teresa F. 3 years ago on Google
I love this place. Coffee is good and desserts are delicious. Atmosphere is nice. The only reason that I give four stars is because parking is annoying. Entering the parking lot is challenge and valet is not as good. So I suggest that you come here by foot or come at a time where there are less cars. Time between rush hours.
