I would recommend this RV Park any day! Due to an accident we needed a place to stay and everyone here was so helpful in making that happen. Very friendly and clean. We enjoyed the pool and laundry facilities as well as the park that was within walking distance. Many thanks to the staff! We hope to see you again under different circumstances.

It was a pleasant surprise to arrive here after a grueling day through Nevada and Southern California. The sites were clean and ours had plenty of shade. The amenities were wonderful, and the bathrooms were the cleanest out of everywhere we have been prior. Thank you for the lovely stay.

I have been staying at this park for almost a week now, I just extended my stay for another week. This RV park is one of the best, cleanest and friendliest parks I have ever been to in bakersfield or even in california since we do travel. The pool and spa are always super clear and clean, along with the bathrooms, they are amazing, showers are a plus, and the laundry rooms are excellent, this park looks newly built. My son and I have had a wonderful time bonding while playing pool in the recreation room which also contains very comfy leather couches. The spots here have plenty of space along with even extra space of cut green grass, some spots have a river view, the spots are fabulous! The park has plenty of dog areas for your pet or service animal, with doggy bags. The staff is really on top of any issues here, they are always at the park working hard. The office has a store which is so very cute and whoever had the brains to make a play area for the kids while you shop was obviously a good parent, or good with kids, and my daughter loves the little play area so much! The staff in the office are excellent as well, just an awesome place to visit and be. Thank you for letting us stay River Run, we are enjoying it very much!!!!

We stayed there just for one night on the way to Death Valley NP. The campground is nice and very well developed, a great stop in Bakersfield. Feels safe and clean. We did not have reservations, but the night check-in was easy to do. We were very happy that we found this place to spend the night. There is no access to the river, fyi.

Nice clean RV park! I will definitely come back here again! The sites, though they are decomposed granite, we're pretty level. There's a nice cement pad to set up outside your front door also. The people that work in the office and answer the phones are very friendly and helpful! The only thing is that they don't have is the keypad lock bathroom doors so they lock them after 10:00 p.m. That was a little inconvenient. I was supposed to stay 2 nights, but had to come back early because of the impending storm in the LA area.

We were very pleased with River Run RV Park. It's very clean and has a nice grassy area and patio for each RV site. We stayed in 118A, which is in a section of long pull throughs. There is traffic noise, but we were okay with it.They have restrooms, showers and a very nice laundry room. They were in great shape and extra clean. This park isn't fancy, but it's perfect for a short stay, or longer if you want a clean, safe place to stay.

Very cute, visited some family that were staying here. They had decent bathrooms for staying at an rv place the pool is pretty cool too. The place overall looked well maintained!

After we arrived after dark to our pre-paid spot, we are told that the bathrooms are closed for night from 10pm-7am. We were in a small trailer with no toilet and additionally wanted to leave the spot early. This information should have been sent to us ahead so we could have found a more accommodating location. This is not a place for a small trailer.

This is by far the BEST RV resort in Bakersfield. It is well run by a very friendly and accomodating staff. It is clean and quiet. Yes, you can hear some train whistles and some traffic noise from the highway and local roads, but it is not loud. The landscaping is wonderful with tall trees, lush grass and lovely plantings around the buildings. The office building contains a nice camp store/gift shop. There is a lovely pool and community room and an outdoor pavilion with a grill. The bathrooms are well appointed and very clean. I did not use the laundry facilities so I can not speak to the condition of the machines personally. If you like to walk when the weather is nice, there are some restaurants within walking distance including Benji's Basque restaurant and a Starbucks. There is also a movie theater nearby.

Great park very clean well maintained. Nice wide streets and parking spaces as well. Now i have to say the space we were in had a leaking sprinkler head so the parking spot would all ways having a layer of mud there! Probably could have asked for a different spot but it is such a hassle to move πŸ˜•. Just going to deal with it. Will be back next year on our way back to Oregon.

When in Bakersfield, this is our home. Heidi is very helpful every time we call for a reservation or with a question. The grounds are extremely clean and the grass is always manicured. There are many mature trees. This campground is smaller than average (120 sites) so can be difficult to get reservations. Full hookups, cable, clean restrooms with showers and laundry room. Dog fences must be put away every night.

We stayed here one night and was really nice. Sites are well groomed very close to level maybe 1 block at most at least for my spot. Pool was nice and bathrooms and showers were clean I'd say here again if I was looking to say in the area

5 stars amazing place super friendly people but they lock the bathrooms at night which is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard of so….3 stars? I probably would’ve gotten great sleep (very peaceful place) if I hadn’t stay up all night wondering why. The pool has a hot tub. There’s a pool table. It might be the nicest RV park I’ve ever been to aside from the inexplicable daily bathroom, shower and laundry lockdowns. Come check it out! And message me when you figure out what the heck is going on. :)

We stayed at Bakersfield River Run RV Park on 5/10/2022. This is a privately owned and managed RV park. We have stayed in over 150 RV parks and this is on the top of the heap. My wife and I are idiosyncratic as it pertains to bathroom cleanliness. These are the cleanest bathrooms I have used. But, beyond clean are large tiled showers and sinks with granite counter tops. The buildings are new and have a country club look and feel. The back-in spots along the fence are ample in size, are beautifully manicured and have 1st class hook-ups, septic pads and water. Had my daughter not gone into labor, we would of stayed longer. First class RV location.

We were passing through Bakersfield and had made this reservation two months in advance. I am totally impressed with this RV park. Nice office, nice facilities and the pool area was just Divine after a long day and the heat was over 103 degrees when we arrived. Interstate 5 is right behind the park so there is some noise from the Hwy. They have cable tv for your use. I just wished we could of stayed. Longer. I am not sure if they had a bath house or laundry facilities as we were here for one night. The check in was easy and the nice lady behind the counter helped us get a bigger site.

When you first approach the park it makes you wonder if it's a dump because it's entrance is in an industrial type area, thus only 4 stars for the location, but the park is amazing. It beautiful, shaded easy to checking and the staff is extraordinary. I left and got a few blocks before I realized my awning didn't come in all the way so I called and asked if I could pull back in and get my awning in so I wouldn't have any issues. They were fantastic and said no problem. Hooked back up get the awning in and left again after I had already checked out. Like I said the area looks so deceptive. I would stay again if ever in the area again. Great job staff.

This is a beautiful little campground with mature trees and level, paved patio sites. Bathrooms, grounds, store, pool area, and rec center are all well maintained! No picnic tables or fire rings provided. Close to everything in Bakersfield.

Very clean RV park. Level lots. No traffic noise. Great one night stay.

I was always under the impression this park was dirty and unkempt. I'm not sure if it was re-modeled or I was flat out lied too. By far one of the cleanest, well appointed rv-parks I've had the pleasure of going too. Very clean, quiet, and secure. On the river with a really nice store, community center pool and spa. On-sight manager to handle any problem that might arise but we didn't have any. Will 100% be my go to spot from now on when im traveling in this area.

Amazing RV park! Great facillities, clean with friendly hosts. Noelle and Ryan whent to great extends to retrieve my mobile phone. Paciently helping us thru the maze of helpdesks, chats and forms of Uber. Love their passion for the park and guests.

So even tho this is a great place, they lock the bathrooms at night. This is a ridiculous. If you're an RV owner then you know unexpected complications occur with them often and this was our situation discovered later in the evening and we think 'no problem ', well there was. Many locations use codes to keep non guests out-it works.

This was a great site. The staff was really nice, hook up was super easy. Bath rooms were very nice and clean. A really nice place. The price was great surprised at how nice for the price. it is also along the river. We have paid a lot more and gotten much less. If we are ever in the area again, we will be staying here.

I wanted so badly to give this park a great review, but after my stay my opinion was drastically changed. The park is well maintained, lots of grass and concrete pads. No problem setting up and it was a welcome place after driving all day. However caddy-corner to my site was a small, one axle trailer with a boatload of children and at least two dogs. These children made any hope of a peaceful evening impossible. They were all over the place, screaming, yelling, throwing balls in other sites, and the mother was just as loud trying to keep them under control. Every time I'd come out of my RV with my dog, their small dog would continually bark. One of the kids came close to my site with the dog on a leash to have his dog stand there and bark at mine. I had to ask him to leave. Around 7am the next morning it all started again. The mother was hollering as she chased after one of the kids, the kids were all out hollering, making weird noises and just being total pains. I went to the office when it opened and reported the problem I had. I walked out after the office lady said, "Well, kids are going to play, this is a campground." In other words, the hell with you paying customer, the kids can do anything they want. I thought I'd be offered a refund, but ended up having to ask for it only to be texted, "I don't have the authority to do that; I'll have to speak to the manager." I checked out as quickly as I could.

What a fabulous park! Easy in. Easy out. Paved roads. Concrete patio slabs. Large sites. We were in pull thru. Easy check in. Friendly staff. Wish we were staying longer. Will be back!

Welcoming park. Clean and well cared for throughout. Laundry, clubhouse with pool table, pool & hot tub, sites, everything seemed to be maintained. Friendly, caring staff. Couldn’t give the park 5 stars only because the pull through sites are quite tight to your neighbor. But, i would still recommend the park to friends.

This RV park is thoughtfully laid out with big rigs in mind. Haven't really checked out the amenities, but the sites and office areas are quite nice. Close to shopping, including Costco.

The Jasmine was in full bloom, and the fragrance carried all over the park. Showers were clean and spacious and had lots of grass and shade trees.

Stopping here between NorCal and SoCal is a great relief from the driving and break up the long drive. Located right off of Hwy 99 and a block from Costco for gas and even fill up propane tanks. Has full hook ups, pool and hot tub, gym area, nice bathrooms with showers and laundry room. Grassy area with each spot.

We stayed at this RV park for a week. This is a beautiful campground beside the Kern River. The lots were level with grass & trees. There is a nice gift & grocery store, a clubhouse, pool, fitness room, & outdoor group kitchen. The bathrooms are nice with showers & laundry next door. This is a kid & dog friendly place. I highly recommend staying here. If we are ever back in Bakersfield, we would love to stay here again.

Very easy to enter. Easy registration and reservation. Had a pull thru full hookup site. Bathrooms and showers were first class. In a word if you are passing thru Bakersfield this is the place to park for a few.

Great location, clean and well set up. It was quite full, the pull through site was a bit close to the other sites so with tip outs it is tight.

Nice place, but had to move to a nother RV park because they said πŸ™„ my dogs are to big ,so that's that we are at orange Grove 🍊 now and they don't mind πŸ˜‰ my fur baby's

My husband was transported to emergency via ambulance due to kidney failure. I called the resort to let them know we won’t be coming and we probably will not be coming as he is now on dialysis and unable to travel. They will not refund our money. I think that is ridiculous and I for one will never go there even if I could and highly recommend you don’t either. I asked what if he does. She said we are very sorry you are going through this. Geez

  • 2/5 Ron W. 1 year ago on Google
I think they're charging way too much for the quality of the sites. Some sites are fair, some not so much. The site they initially assigned was the pits (and about 4" off level in what should have been a completely level site--it's not a hilly area!) so we got another. 2nd sit was at least level, but no picnic tables! C'mon people!

After 25,000 miles of RVing this is the BEST RV Park we ever stayed at for an affordable price. Great sites, great staff, great cleanliness, great RVers in the park, great club house, great bathrooms all for a great price ($55). Wish we could take this park with us wherever we go!

  • 3/5 Laurie L. 1 year ago on Google
No access to river. Pets have lots of rules. Many rules to the park as well. Seemed a little over the top. Skinny strip of grass between rv. No picnic table or fire pit. They have long term rentals. They have a clubhouse, pool, and spa.

😠 This was a nice place until Storz management took over. I left but my friends still there have endured rent increases, criminal assaults and broken promises galore since then.
