This is a private residence built by C.C. Teauge an innovator in agriculture in Santa Paula. Mr. Teague served the people of Santa Paula and in Washington DC.

It is someone's house.

I spent many years of my childhood there. My best school friend lived there, her father was our family doctor. When my mother was dying of cancer they didn't want me around , so they stuck me up there. I loved it with all my heart, to keep me away from my mother has left me very bitter at all of them. The house is beautiful. I could draw you a blue print of it. Not one spot was ever unseen. . Love it, hate what became of it. Selling it to the Ramierez family to build on ,broke my heart.

The mansion is in our neighborhood and we walk past it walking our dog. It has an interesting history but we have never been inside. I didn't even know they gave tours.
