Because of a YouTube channel called Reactistan and their participants I'm becoming more educated about Pakistan and Pakistani food. In fact I've learned to make chicken karahi but a lot less spicy 😉. This is the 2nd time I've come to Pak Halal and it was fantastic again. The first time I ordered Chicken Karahi just to know what it tasted like. It's delicious but I couldn't finish it. Because they serve so much I shared with my daughter. Today I had the Chicken Biryani as it had so many positive reviews. It's a lot more spicy than I'm used to but it's amazing nonetheless. The rice is fluffy and the chicken is perfectly cooked. The yogurt takes the sting out of the spiciness for me which I loved. You can't go wrong with this place. Thankfully it's only a 5 mile or so drive to get here and it's worth it.

Authentic Pakistani food and good service! We got the Beef Nihari and Mutton Seekh Kabobs, which both were delicious. The green chutney is also excellent. It's a takeout only place so there is not a proper dine-in area.

The rating shouldn’t be more than 4, there’s a channa daal which has no taste. Seekh kabab is way too spicy and spongy

"I decided to give their goat and chicken biryani a try today. Unfortunately, they served me what felt like leftover food in small portions. The goat biryani was especially disappointing, with more bones than actual meat. It was as if they thought I wanted a meal of rice with a side of oversized bones!" It's a hit or miss place :)

Food was great very authentic but they took over a hour for two chicken kabob rolls.

We found this place while visiting LA. Their mutton biryani and karahi chicken was very tasty and they give quite a lot (rice and meat both). I highly recommend them!
