Famous Dave's is bit of an enigma. The food is good. The staff is friendly. And the prices are pretty reasonable. Yet within the largest county in the United States, with over 10 million people, L.A. County has only one Famous Dave's location. San Bernadino has 3, and Orange has 1. I really can't explain why this is, but I'm really happy there is one not too far from me. I used to come to this location a lot when I worked nearby. I came here for lunch and dinner. I came here with family and friends. And I never had a bad meal or a bad time here Unfortunately, now that I work closer to Downtown L.A., I really haven't been to Famous Dave's in quite awhile. Until today. For lunch, I had the ribs and brisket with 2 sides and my meal tasted even better than I remember. The ribs were moist and tender, with tons of flavor. The brisket was just as good but juicier. My sides of mashed potatoes and coleslaw held their own. I absolutely loved, loved my meal, and I hope time and circumstances brings me here again. Check this place out.

If you're craving BBQ and Lucille's is busy this place is definitely another choice... only thing I can pushback on is the price at this spot is a little more costly. Food does taate great and the quality of food and quantity of food is also great. Definitely recommend a family feast!

My family and I love this place!! The food is so good and we like to give a shout out to Diana the manager and Our server Alondra. It's hard to find good places to eat and to find wonderful servers. Thank you all for making our first time here the best experience !

We ordered the St. Louis Ribs with Roasted Chicken combo and the beef brisket. The ribs and chicken are fine. Nothing special about. However, the brisket does no taste like brisket at all. It is like ham. The texture is different from the typical brisket you know. I wouldn't recommend the brisket. We also got the $3 drink special, it is mojito on the day we visited. It was good. The sides we got are the famous fires, mac and cheese, coleslaw, and broccoli. They are fine, just the typical fries you get at other places.

I went for an early dinner, hostess greeted me and sat me right away. My server was friendly, attentive and made great suggestions. The ribs and brisket were flavorful and delicious! It was definitely a lot of food. A definite must stop if you like barbecue.

If you're looking for big portions and great BBQ, then look no further. Famous Dave's never disappoints, no matter what location you're in. The service was great, and the food came out very fast. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves good BBQ. Don't forget the cornbread when you go.

I prefer this barbecue over Lucille's. However, I find Lucille's to be average at best, so that's not saying a whole lot. The restaurant was in a nice location near the Ontario Mills Mall. Parking was easy. They tried to be trendy and deliver your drinks. Not in glasses or cups but in mason jars. I think that is so played out and not novel or nostalgic anymore. They served my meal in a basket lined with paper and my friend's meal was served on a steel tray like a cafeteria. The fries were good. The barbecue was decent but I don't think I would go back here or recommend it to anyone that I actually want to impress. One thing that really added to the ambience was the flies that were zipping around the table while we were trying to eat restaurants shouldn't have flies. That is a health concern. The flies were not there at the beginning of our meal but toward the end they were. I hope that doesn't mean someone opened the back door to take out the trash and the flies flew in. Why not have air curtains installed or perhaps pest control of some kind? I know this is possible because 9 out of 10 places I go to eat don't have flies zipping around the table or trying to land on my food. I rate this place a 4 and 1/2 out of 10 would not recommend. Try wood ranch BBQ instead.

Ok I don't know what happened with this restaurant , to begin with it was almost empty.not potatoes chips to munch on . But this is not the worst, the restaurant itself was dirty and the booth where we went to sit was so dirty that they moved us to another one . We ordered an appetizer of brisket it was cold and with no flavor. the feast our main course was served without utensils to grab the food when we ask for utensils they bring us a pair or disposable thongs to serve our food the were dirty with crusted dried food discusting!!!. we left and been sick of our stomach we won't get back to this location on foothill across from Ontario Mills Mall I don't recommend at all.

WE had a bad experience literally as our party of 25 driving to a different restaurant in Corona refused our reservation after they had told us to confirm call 1 hr prior to our reservation time! ... did a 360 turn n called Dave's Bbq as our party group was driving from Whittier, Riverside,Highland & La Puente, Last min spoke to Dave's manager n OMG she did her best in squeezing us in.. not to say our server GABRIEL, HE WAS THE BEST. Best attitude & personality..THANKS Dave's you made the twins bday the best.. made that rainy day shine bright!!

Great BBQ with great sides. This is one of the best restaurants for BBQ in the Inland Empire. Tender meat and fresh sides. And the amount of food you get allows you to have a snack when you get home.

What can you say about Famous Daves. As usual, great barbecue when your in the mood with spectacular service. AC was off and I couldn’t tell if they were purposely trying not to run it to do their part. The three dollar rum and coke special hit the spot.

It was mine and my boyfriends first time here! Our server Gabriel was very attentive and had a great attitude! Food was amazing, drinks were amazing and the seating was great too! The manager Diane as well was very attentive and very kind! Made us feel very comfortable and welcomed into the restaurant! We will definitely be back again!

Went there today for lunch, ordered St Louis rib and roasted chicken, Beef brisket, tbh the brisket taste like ham or some kind of restructured meat, it was flavorful but dosent taste like beef or brisket that we normally have in other restaurants also it was room temperature not hot, it was really like a ham texture. But the decoration is awesome inside. It’s a bit pricey for the food portion.

Pretty good restaurant if you are looking for a BBQ brisket. Service is fast, clean tables and friendly staff. Hasn't changed much yet, but the food is still good as it was the last time I visited this restaurant 5 years ago. It's definitely a restaurant to have in mind if you are looking for some different.

The food was good, save for my meat. I understand that the restaurant can't control the quality of the meat, but their response was wonderful. All of the employees respectfully offered to replace my meal, which I politely declined. However, the demeanors my cousin I encountered were absolutely fabulous! This type of good service is not easy to find, but it clearly exists at this Famous Dave's restaurant. I will definitely return to this restaurant.

Service started out fine but went downhill fast. Several tables around ours had to get the manager to bring their checks and cash them out. When we were unable to locate our server. My salad looked like it had been sitting drenched in dressing for half an hour and was missing 2 main ingredients. It was replaced when we sent it back. It was warm in the restaurant, bathrooms needed tending, overall, just bad and looking rundown. We won't be back.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at famous Dave’s restaurant and I cannot recommend it highly enough! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy atmosphere. I ordered the brisket and spare ribs it was cooked to perfection - tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The sides were just as impressive, The service by “Mayra” and general manager “Lino” was impeccable and my server Mayra went above and beyond to ensure that I had a great dining experience. Overall, I highly recommend Famous Dave’s restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious meal in a comfortable and welcoming environment.

It’s been a while since the last I ate at Famous Dave’s. Since it was nearby, my family and I stopped in for a bite. SO GLAD WE DID! This place is far better than I remembered!! We were greeted and seated quickly with a smile. A gentleman named Lino welcomed us at the table and asked a few questions, and make some spot on recommendations! Our server Nate was right behind him, took our order and verified the details. Our drinks were served quickly and our food came shortly afterwards. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! I don’t know what they did, but they leveled up their food like no other!!! The ribs tasted like I was eating bbq in Texas, the pulled pork melted in the mouth bursting with flavor, and the corn bread was buttery delicious! The burnt ends appetizer was so good it could be mistaken for an entree! Nate the Great kept our drinks constantly filled and checked on us regularly. Not only was Nate great, but other staff would ask if we needed anything as they walked by. It felt like an entire team was catering to us. Amazing food, fantastic service…..I will be back in the near future for sure!!! Keep it up Famous Dave’s, sounds like I got a new favorite spot!!!!

It was absolutely delicious. Sucks that location doesn't hv a happy hour. 1 star off for the special $3 drink ( not pictured). My sister said yeah pretty much juice and a 75 cent splash of vodka.😂

Awesome experience! Our waitress made my husband’s birthday celebration a great one. She was very attentive, and even brought him a plate of birthday ice cream. We were given to-go containers for our drinks and food. Sign up on the app for the first visit and they will send you a coupon you can use that visit. I highly recommend the Georgia chopped pork sandwich. We also got the feast and it was worth it! Highly recommend eating here.

If you want some good ribs combined with excellent service this is the place to go. The staff is always really friendly and takes care of you. The food is awesome. Prices for a full rack is decent. Not exspencive nor cheap but well worth their price. Make sure you try the Wilbur beans. Totally yummy. Thanks Famous Dave's for the great food, staff and atmosphere. Will always return when I need my rib fix.

I grew up eating Famous Dave's being from Minnesota. It's been 9 years since I've had it. This location was a little slow but the to go service was very helpful. The burnt ends weren't the end and not burnt. A little different but not the traditional style in used to... they were mostly fat undercooked. The rib tips were fine. A little tough but were good flavor. I didn't eat the sides so I would have to do another review.
