Let me tell you about my experience visiting this place for the first and probably the last time. 1. Stay - rooms (individual bungalows) are just okay which you find at any $100 hotel. With coffee machine that sucks. There are no great views for the price. 2. Amenities - Don’t get lured by the name / photos on the website. This place is huge with basically nothing other than few. Swimming pools which you find at your backyard, SPA (3/10) and firepits ( which is good for families). 3. Charges - They are robbing for the additional charges you pay for parking ($40) a day, Resort occupancy Tax ($35/ day), and few others. 4. Restaurants - the food options are so less and the sitting area is too small. Overall, This place is not worth the money you pay for a resort. Better spend few more bucks for a high end luxury somewhere else. This is just an average Joe who tries to look cool.

Very nice resort, if a bit spread out. The only downside was checking in in the evening and having to walk quite a distance to our room, hauling our luggage, in the dark. I wish a golf cart or some form of transportation had been available and/or the way to the rooms had been better lit and easier to navigate in the dark. There was a nice set of restaurants and a resort shop we used. Also, some beautiful beaches and pretty grounds to explore with lots of birds to see. We were there for a conference and the rooms, meals, and staff for that were all great.

Not worth the price. The resort is okay. Lots of pools which is nice but the rooms are eh. Also weird but we stayed for 5 days and never had cleaning service. I don’t need new sheets everyday but trash emptied and some clean towels would have been nice.

I stayed here for 7 days. It is a very beautiful location, however there are some areas they can improve on: the key cards stopped working multiple times throughout the time I was there. We would have to walk back to the front lobby and get a new key, just to walk all the way back and realize it still doesn’t work. I saw others also not able to get back into their bungalow multiple times as well. There were a handful of times that the hot water wasn’t working. Had to take extremely cold showers. Walking around the area, there was a lot of trash in areas. The restaurants on the island are decent, but are literally so expensive. Was charged over $300 for a couple drinks, an appetizer, and a couple meals. Not worth the price at all. This is a spa hotel, but the prices for the spa is horrific. If you want a massage, do it through Zeel. It’s cheaper for double the amount of time the spa offers you. There were times the jacuzzi wasn’t hot enough. The pools claim to be heated as well, but only felt that it was kinda heated once. It was a decent experience, but not for the price. They need to hone in on the little things to make this place worth it.

The name is not an exaggeration. It's an absolute paradise. Everywhere you look you find stunning palms and bird of paradise flowers. The hotel has a welcoming, modern style lobby. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The resort offers a lot of activities and it located very conveniently. The restaurants are a bit pricey but the food is worth the price. The staff is great. The parking fee is high (about $40 per night) but overall impression is amazing.

The rooms are okay & the beds were decently comfy. The view from our room on the bay was really really nice I will say. The primary problem with our adjoining rooms was the mini split A/C systems are very noisy. And in the room with the single king bed the system is literally 1 foot from the bed and at the same height as the bed. So it blows literally on you at full blast all night. Plus the room with a king bed had very poor blind shutters that let a lot of light in. While the room with two Queen beds has a mini split at least on the other side of the room. And it has nice black out curtains. We ended up sleeping in the king bed with no A/C so it was quiet at least. To do over we’d probably ask for two rooms with the double queens that are near one another. Also, no microwave and no filtered water source except for bottles you have to constantly ask for. Make sure to bring in your own gallon jugs of water from a gas station. For the amount of money spent on two rooms, we expected a lot more than received .

My wife Sheena Rash and I stayed room 732 2/13-15 2022. OMG! I cannot say enough! So cozy, homey, and quaint. Very relaxing. Pool and hot tub very nice and not busy since they have so many. We have been to many places including the Caribbean and Australia and this was absolutely our favorite place we have been. It truly is a paradise and everything they advertise is absolutely on point and true!!! Absolutely loved our stay!!! Thank you so much.

Sooo much potential, it just wasn’t quite enough. To begin, check in is at 4pm, 2/4 of our rooms were not ready until after 5pm. Be aware that parking is $42/night!! The chlorine was so high in the hot tub that it gave my daughter a rash, burned her eyes and took 5 separate hair washings to wash out the smell and soften her hair again. The room. There was a giant stain on the couch, it has a small kitchenette but no dishes, cups or silverware. The windows were the old original single pane aluminum frames the let in the cold and noise. One frame was broken and has exposed jagged glass edges. Then there’s the bed! Eastern king size that the platform creaked every time you or your partner moved plus the mattress was so shot we both ended up in valley in the middle. The staff was nice enough, the grounds are great but for $500/my I expect a better experience and a luxury room, or at least one with no stains, a nicer, newer bed with nicer linens and windows that shut properly.

Room was very clean, we stayed in cove bungalow, quiet beach steps from the door, parking at the room. Living room with kitchenette was perfect for storing baby food. They supplied pack and play for baby. Towel service was quick when we needed more. Room service for every dinner was delivered hot and in less than 40 minutes. Pools were clean and not overwhelmingly busy. Plenty of vegetarian options. Once you check in you never have to leave the resort.

A nice, relaxing location with tons of things to do on site. The room was clean and comfy, but there wasn't a microwave. The staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful. We rented bicycles on property and were able to easily ride to the beach and beautiful nearby parks. The only real downside was a lack of food options on the premises. There were two restaurants with great food, but during a five-day stay we found ourselves looking for more variety. This would be a wonderful family getaway.

Overall place is amazing. We came here during the holiday (July 4th) and it was an active hotel. Rooms are nice, navigating around is easy after 2-3 drives around the roads. Mini golf was actually a decent course. My only complaint is the toilet seat ripped off the toilet and the drawer to the mini fridge was broken when we came and Sometimes the room service was a little slow but that's reasonable during the holidays and with how big this place is. We used all the amenities tho and for the most part they're all worth doing!

We had our destination wedding at paradise Point in July with about 80 guests. Everything was wonderful from the hotel rooms to the ceremony and reception. The whole staff were so accommodating & helpful with us and all of our guests who were also staying at the resort. Eva, our event coordinator went above and beyond to make everything perfect, she was always there to help and ensure everything was going smoothly. Our guest were raving about their experience at the resort as well which made us confident we made the right choice hosting our wedding here. We ate at barefoot a few times, the food was good as well as the service! Obviously its a resort so expect resort prices but all in all we were completely satisfied with our stay (Friday - Tuesday.) Thank you to all the Paradise Point staff for being so great! And a special thank you to Eva for all she did! If you are looking to host an event here or just stay a few nights, do it, you won't regret it!

The rooms are really nice well kept up. They have little golf carts to help you get around the place. Pet friendly there is a deposit. Best to show up in the day it can be a little hard to navigate around at night sometimes the signs are a bit hard to see so you can miss the turn. Each bungalow has a parking space assigned to it. You have a little patio and some chairs to sit out on. They have plenty of charging ports in the room so after a day of roaming everyone can charge back up.

Just came home from our wonderful trip to Paradise Point in San Diego. Even though we live about an hour north of the resort we felt like we went a lot farther. This was our first time staying there. I highly recommend it. It’s an all bungalow one story no high rise facility. Easy to walk around this island and enjoy everything it has to offer. It’s centrally located. We loved our stay and so glad we chose to stay at this resort!! Would definitely return and recommend!!

Super sad to write this. We had a group of 40 for a family reunion with a total of 14 rooms including 2 of the more expensive bayside bungalows for 3 nights. Needless to say- a lot of money dropped by our group for 3 night stay. While the place is beautiful, we were very disappointed with staff arranging the rooms. We started talking over 8 months in advance and our number 1 priority was the out of state family (12 of the rooms) were put together since spending time together was our primary goal. We signed contracts over 6 months ahead of time and talked and emailed no less than 10 times including the day of check in and were told we would all be close together. We were booked in 4 different locations all being greatly separated in distance. Each person requested being close to the “family reunion” and were given different reasons why this couldn’t happen. Disappointing to say the least. I will say that I have stayed her before just as a family (1room) and everything was great. I just can’t recommend this place when staying in a big group if your goal is being together. The biggest disappointment is how the reservation manager has not responded to my email still to this date after I expressed disappointment in our family members being so distanced including our 90 year old aunt who had to make the longer walk. (Resort did offer ride service for her when we explained the issue but waits were a bit long at times) Only problem with the room was our pull out sofa first night when we opened had food in it from previous guests. Housekeeping came quickly when called and changed sheets. .

The grounds are really nice. Lots of pools and the lobby is really cool. Very few snack and food options outside the two pricey restaurants. The market could have twice as much fresh food and half as many swimsuits. Service was very helpful. Mariah in particular was very welcoming and kind.

Great experience, felt like we were in Hawaii! We stayed in one of the bungalows in the bay & it was a great space with a great view. Food was so great at Tidal that we ate there twice. Staff, room service & every staff member were so friendly! We did the on site kayaking, so much fun! Great spot for families and friends!

I was here as a two day one night work meeting. My perspective for large groups is that it was really perfect, everything was walkable even though sometimes it was a long walk, and we definitely got lost at night after we had a couple cocktails and we are headed back to our room but all the meal options and the area for dining was lovely. The meeting space was lovely with large windows, it was a really inclusive experience and nothing was needed from the outside. We even had a early morning walk which most people went on even though we didn’t want to beautiful area!

Beautiful setting, bungalows are spacious and quiet. Disappointed that there wasn’t more of a kitchenette- only a coffeemaker and microwave. Did not use on site restaurants. Pools were beautiful. Staff were friendly and housekeeping was great.

Great hotel, freshly renovated, very relaxed atmosphere and a perfect spot for a vacation with the kids. We enjoyed dinner is at the restaurant tidal, and great breakfast at the barefoot grill. Beautiful sunsets. If there is ice thing that I didn’t like - the motel-style air condition. Not a problem as San Diego isn’t hot in the night, but wanted to mention that.

Absolutely beautiful! Rooms are like little villas. Spacious inside with personal backyard space. Romantic. Equipped with everything you need. The resort is beautiful. Difficult to navigate directions at first but many golf cart bell hops around for assistance. I stayed here for a conference.

We went to a travel show here sponsored by AAA. The ballroom was ideal as were the smaller conference rooms adjacent to it. It afforded vendors to set up displays and gave ample room to move around without feeling crowded. The smaller rooms allowed for video and slide presentations again with out feeling crowded. The hotel staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. I could imagine this facility being used for a myriad of purposes.

Went here for a conference and stayed here because conference was at this resort. Decent resort for the price. Rooms, I felt, were pretty expensive for what you get. The views were not that great and the size of the room was also small, for the price. The room we got wasn't even cleaned properly and there were areas of visible chunks of dust on the floor. We reported that and they just gave us a small credit to use at the resort. The beaches were okay at the resort itself. Got a discount on the resort fees because of the conference, but otherwise the resort fees are quite expensive too. They have quite a few amenities there and the kids enjoyed some of them, including mini golf.

The resort has beautiful view and great environment. I haven’t got a chance to try the service/enjoy the place, have to cancel the following night. Because the hardware need to be maintained or upgraded! $460+ /night need doing better. 1) We arrived when dark, but the key access to the room doesn’t work, have to go back to the lobby asking for help, we were told the locker is out of battery. Have to wait 15minutes with all the luggage waiting for technicians come to do the battery change. The technician is good though. 2) The AC unit is old and has huge noise when it runs. We can’t fall in sleep and kept waking up. It was really not a good experience for last night. Have to cancel the following 2 nights and looking for another hotel for the rest of our trip in San Diego.

The overall place is cool, good views, a lot of pools and nice beach to enjoy. When it comes to the rooms though, it is not that great. The cleanliness can be improved. My room’s shower was dirty when I got the room and there were crumbs on the top sheet. To get the shower clean I had to call, e-mail and go to the front desk. They gave me a $50 credit towards room charges and after 3 days the cleaning came but they did not clean the shower.

I can not say enough about Paradise Point vacation island. Best time ever!! Such beauty! The cottages were extremely clean and spacious. The staff in the front lobby and on the grounds were all so friendly and helpful. My husband and I fell in love with this little Paradise. So many beautiful tropical trees and plants. Beautiful pools and activities like bike riding and boating. Just walking around the island is breathtaking. We will definitely be spending more time there again!!
