Absolutely love this spot. It is so rich in history. Please talk to the staff, they are so awesome! The food was absolutely amazing especially the biscuits and gravy!

Such a lovely hidden gem. Had lunch here with a friend and I can’t wait to come back for trivia. We split plates and had the burrata salad and the impossible shepherds pie. Both were exquisite and I love that they offer meat alternatives for a cuisine that lives off beef. I will definitely be back to sample more dishes because I am beyond impressed so far.

Most excellent in all respects. Great menu with tons of vegetarian and vegan options that don't compromise on flavor. Great beers to boot. Big thanks to our server Charlie M. for the great service and adding some personality to the evening!

Love this place!! It has the the cutest little vibey patio and amazing food. The spicy margarita is prob my favorite and I crave that thing. The quinoa sliders are so so good, I wish they had a little dipping sauce like honey mustard or something to go with. I have been here multiple times and will for sure be back.

One of my very favorite restaurants in Los Angeles, this British themed eatery manages to fuse English cuisine with a slightly modernized touch, and aptly succeeds. It’s a perfect spot for pub grub and a drink, and the atmosphere is lively but not obnoxiously so. It’s a perfect venue for socializing and enjoying fantastic cuisine. The English theme isn’t cloying and the dishes taste remarkably similar to those across the pond. Kind and attentive wait staff as well as excellent chefs. Food is served fresh and hot and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

Friendly staff and good quality and quantity of food! I’ll definitely come back to try the Mac n cheese and scotch eggs 😋 and if you’re planning on dining in make sure to sit outdoors! They have a beautiful garden 🪴

Nice British pub, semi-traditional semi-modern decor and style. Pretty big space, lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Nice selection of British food the menu alongside some more American plates. HP Brown sauce proudly on display! Quiet music playing when I visited on a Wednesday late afternoon. Great service, nice food, good happy hour prices. Highly recommended pub!

Wasn't a bad little place for lunch. The prices are good the atmosphere is quiet and relaxed. The server was on top of things and very pleasant. Food was delicious and decent sized portions. Will.come back for a visit to try wellington or Sunday roast.

The hostess and our server, Kalli, was so awesome, attentive, and patient! The outdoor space was great for our puppy. My beef Wellington was good, and my husband LOVED his roast beef dip sandwich. The sticky toffee pudding was awesome! The drinks, especially my shandy, was perfect!

EDITED to add: We went back after Christmas, we got our Scotch Eggs [with a gift certificate from the pub, thank you!], they were great and every bit as delicious as we remember. We also had actual pints of beer this time, of Guinness, which we did specifically have to ask for. It was terrific. ORIGINAL review: We visited on 23rd December just because we were both craving Scotch Eggs…. and they didn’t have any. Which they blamed on the Christmas rush, needing to prepare for dine-in on the 24th and takeout orders for the next few days. Understandable. But we wish they’d found a way to communicate that somewhere online as we’d visited specifically for that. During our previous visits, we’d really loved their Scotch Egg and found it to be very nearly as good as you can get in the UK. Instead we settled for pints of Guinness, potato croquettes and Brussels Sprouts. A fine meal. Just not the one we’d hoped for. And the pint glasses weren’t full size pints. Which we found bizarre. Never seen anything like it. Larger than half pints. But very definitely smaller than a pint. The strangest thing! We’ll return. But this visit wasn’t the best we have had.

This isn't the rowdy Cat &Fiddle of my college years (thanks, pandemic), but its spirit is very much still there. Trivia Tuesdays, anyone? The patio is lovely and the food is satisfying, especially the garlic brussel sprouts and popcorn cauliflower. Don't order the fish tacos! It's basically smaller portions of their deep fried fish from fish and chips stuck in a taco shell with some lettuce on top. But overall, it's still a great place to hang out with old friends and make new ones. I'm so glad that C&F made a comeback.

Burnt *Beef Wellington* was an utter disappointment. First off, I ordered online on Sunday and they cancelled my order without stating why. I had to call and they explained they ran out. That’s fine but they should’ve at least told me what happened. So I reordered a few days later, and went to pick up. The order was on time and they were nice to bring it to my car. Unfortunately the quality of the Beef Wellington was very low. The pastry as you can see in the picture was burnt on the bottom and soggy on top (it’s supposed to be crispy). The beef was a little too rare for my taste. The portion sized was very small for the price of $40. On top of this, the whole thing fell apart when you cut into it. I got a dessert too which was toffee pudding cake but it was lukewarm as well. Total price of the meal was $47. Overall it was not worth it. The chef/cook who made this should take a good long look at themself in the mirror and do better.

We went on Wednesday, November 22. This was our first time at this wonderful restaurant and it won’t be our last. We were visiting from the Seattle area and happened upon this place driving to our hotel. The food was absolutely delicious and authentic. Our server was extremely helpful and kind. What a joy to have found this place. We will be back here on our next trip down! Highly recommend!!

Amazing brunch place! We stopped here while in town and got sat quickly for being 10am on a Saturday. They have both indoor and outdoor patio. The patio is gorgeous. Service was amazing, and the food was delicious. The staff accommodated my food modifications and Virgin drink requests. 10/10 would recommend for anyone looking for a cute date spot or even a place to bring the family. (Would check prices before bringing a whole family, some items are pricey)

Lovely restaurant with very attentive staff. Our waiter anticipated when our drinks were going to run out and offered refills before we were dry. Food was delicious. Very chill and fun place. Old fashions and cocktails were delicious. I will definitely be back soon.

The good. The environment was great the bar te see was nice and helpful! The bad No English beers at all… I mean … how can that be ? Makes no sense The ugly The Scottish egg was “super well done” and the yolk needs to be a bit tender. It was also salty … The sprouts were salty, it it’s intended to creat more thirst then great !

Edit: We had a reservation here Christmas Day which they took on their website despite being closed and no notice was given so unfortunately our Christmas lunch plans were significantly disrupted. As a gesture of goodwill, we were offered a $50 voucher, although due to their poor response rate on their Facebook page this was hard to obtain. Upon going to the restaurant indoor setting is limited and no apology for the previous disruption was offered. The food here is okay, the scotch egg wasn’t great, although the beer wellington was very good. Overall still a disappointing experience with this place that they poorly tried to resolve and they even gave the voucher asking me to change my review

The food was good. I had the fish and chips and scotch egg. My wife had the Brussel and the one of the pies. The cocktails were just ok. The biggest reason for the 3 star was the service. There was only 10 people in the restaurant and the Bartender was put server. We were sitting in a booth and he took forever to do everything. Just a little too casual speed.

I recently moved back from the UK, and some friends of mine really wanted to try this pub. One had never had beef Wellington. Well, this was a complete disappointment here. The meat was well done. Well done! In a beef Wellington. And there was like a cheese on top of the pastry? I told the server that this isn’t a beef Wellington, the meat is supposed to be no more than medium and he apologized of course and took it back. I asked if I can get a replacement hoping it’ll be different, but he advised against it, leading me to think that’s how they always cook the beef Wellington. So do not go here if you’re looking for a good one. It’ll be a piece of rubber wrapped in bread. We also had scotch eggs which were okay, somewhat flavorless (actually pretty authentic English food now that I think about it), and replaced our meals with fish and chips and corned beef. All in all, merely okay food, again, pretty flavorless. We also only had beers so I’m not rating drinks; can’t really mess a beer up. The server was great, especially considering it was a few weeks since lock down. He’s the only reason they’re getting two stars instead of one.

I had no idea this place was still around. I used to go to the original location on Sunset Blvd. When you walk in you are greeted and the staff is super friendly. Their outside patio is great a warm night. Place is super clean and they sanitize between customers along with wiping the doors and glass. Since I haven’t been here in decades, I asked for a dinner recommendation and went with the fish n chips along with a super refreshing iced tea with fresh mint. Great meal and I have never had smashed peas like this. Sooooo good. I think smashed peas are a acquired taste but I could totally eat a bowl of that green stuff. Danny my server was fantastic and offered me a refill of iced tea and made sure I was happy. I also had the pear and blueberry crumble too but didn’t remember to take a pic. Very fresh and served hot. I totally will be coming here more often.

Been my regular for decades. Great family owns this joint. Some of the old rock and rollers still show up. It used to be the go to sunset rock and roll spot. You can still get a whiff of that legacy. If you're in town for a day or two, put it on your list. They are very cool people. And the fish and chips are spot on.

The atmosphere was delightful and warm. The staff was helpful. The food was terrible. I love British food and was dissatisfied after reading past reviews raving about this place. My plate was bland and my fish from my fish and chips was thinkly breaded and almost no meat. My chips were also cold. The mushy peas were the only saving grace. I wanted to like this place but without good food...why return? I've had this dish all over the UK & various states on the East coast. Never this disappointing. My dinner mate also wasn't crazy about his meal.
