Tell me why I go in there and pay for two drinks and then I see my bank statements the next day and was charged more than what I signed off for? I noticed that the bartenders at this place add extra tips!!!!!!! PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH THIS PLACE! To top it off no one is answering the phone when you try to contact anyone about the situation. This place is a joke!!!! It was the bartender Miguel who served us! Be careful with this man because he's stealing from the people who come in to support this business.

You will get your phone stolen here and the people who work here have no control over it. This issue has been happening for over a year and this has now happened to me twice. Absolutely unacceptable that their service sucks and they consistently allow in thief’s and crooks into their bar. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT GO HERE.

An excellent downtown LA spot on a Friday or Saturday. The crowd is young and fun. My favorite drink was the “Magonada Picante” & it was on point. I’d say aim for getting there by 9-9:30 to get seating or a good spot. They got tacos too & my friend used to work here. Rest In Peace my friend Lino…

Too bad they are transphobic. :( Cozy Bar with a weekly Mariachi show on Wednesday’s for free! It’s a Women Mariachi Group named La Victoria. When I went, I was able to sit in a corner that was a cushiony and spacious seat by an interesting art piece called 400 rabbits. It’s a showcase of a lot of rabbit’s feet.

It was very hipster but Hispanic vibes. Cool spot for happy hour, drinks were nicely made and the music was great in there. Bartender knew what he was doing.

Came on Halloween (Monday) and the minute I stepped inside I felt I was in Mexico. We just went to have a drink and we loved the mezcal cocktails. I tried the passion fruit one and it was delicious. The bar was beautifully decorated for Día de Muertos. So everything was colorful. Music is good (mainly party music, reggaeton) and the vibe is cool. There’s a partially open area where people smoke. So we preferred to sit inside. Cocktails are around $15.

Best agave sprits bar in the city. Great for mezcal and tequila and sotol drinkers. The food sold in the porch area is worth mentioning in case you are hungry. Huge display of options of tequila and mezcal out there. Literally worth the visit. Taken friends from out of town and they all get blown away by the menu with an array of selections of agave delicacies. Jamaica, watermelon, berries are among the range of cocktails on display. Come thirsty and come prepared for a good time.

If you are looking to have fun dancing to great music all night you definitely need to check out Las Perlas on Fridays & Sundays. Those are the only days I go. I love how the DJs play a mix of all music. They have a taco spot inside as well, which I have tried but honestly was having way too much fun I’m not too sure on how delicious the food was. They also make great drinks. It’s a nice place to visit if you want to have a great night dancing. There is also no cover charge. Must check it out.

There’s this girl Valerie that works there that thinks that she owns the place. She’s always banning people for no reason even though her and her boyfriend hook everyone up with drugs. Her boyfriend swears he’s the plug lmao These are the weirdest people I’ve ever met. They shouldn’t be working at a bar and be locked up in a mental institute

This place should be called "LAS MIERDAS " instead of las perlas.. First of all the moment we walked in the whole place smelled like dirty bathroom! The security guard is a meat gazer! The taco ladies are triffling!! I was like okay I'll give it the benefit of the doubt.. We order some vegan tacos because I saw they were made with hibiscus. The girl taking my order didn't speak English. I didn't think it was an issue so I spoke to her in Spanish and she said okay 1 order of vegan tacos. I said yes. Gives me my order then we realize that it wasnt the vegan ones. We took one bit of the tacos.. I took it back and the girl said I told her non vegan tinga chicken tacos. She was so rude she said she would replace them I go back she said I'm only giving you two because you ate one. I said fine. I did not eat the taco I tried it but understand that you got my order wrong and shes like no I didnt.. anyways this lady was trifling. Next, my boyfriend went to the bathroom and the security guard accused him of tagging. For no reason my boyfriend dosen't tag or any sorts of that. He said he was looking at him through the stall. The security guard likes to watch people pee! This is disgusting. This place is awful!!! Don't ever come here..

This place knows how to do it! The coctails are excellent, the bouncers are reasonable and the music is great. There is an interior section for dancing and a quiet patio for food. I do not know why but the one bartender at the side bar ignored me for a while. Must have been setting up or something. Anyways every other bartender was working extra hard and made wonderful drinks

If you love tequila and mezcal, come here! You'll be in paradise. This place reminded me of a dive bar but not as divey. It's clean, well lit, nice servers and bartenders, and nice bouncer. Decent prices! The description reads as a hipster bar but that wasn't true when I went on a Saturday. It was a good mix of people. I'll be coming back.

Authentic Mexican flavors in downtown LA. Refreshing flavorful drinks and space for dancing with Mexi-music jukebox. Definitely will return and recommend. All mixed drinks are good.

I was here last night it was a Sunday I expected to be a slow night because it was raining which it was slow until @djcookelchef starting DJing everybody got up and started dancing. It’s crazy how fast he changed the vibes in there. Great Dj! I’ve been going for the past few weekends here and Djcook is the best he really knows how to work the crowd 👏

This is a really fun bar. The drinks are great, the bartender with the mustache is always friendly, and the vibe is fun!!! The selection of mezcal is pretty great. Only problem is I always drink too much here because it is really hard to leave.

My friends and I went here on Thursday night (12/28/23). We arrived around 10pm so it wasn’t too crowded yet, considering it being a very small space. The drinks were not great, granted we only had time to try one before the real problem started. Along the wall of the small dance floor, there is a ledge where they had lit candles sitting on. My friend has long hair and she had her back towards the wall while we were on the dance floor. Unfortunately, her hair caught fire from one of these poorly placed candles. She suffered a scalp burn and some of her hair fell out. None of the staff came to check on her even though according to the bouncer, there were multiple reports of the smell of something on fire. There was no manager on site to speak to and we were simply told by one of the bartenders to write an email if we wanted to complain. Although this was an accident, it could have been prevented. There shouldn’t be fire on a dance floor, especially when you’re serving alcohol. The fact that there was no manger on site is ridiculous.

An okay place if you like to spend more time waiting to order a drink than actually being able to drink it. Thought I was at planet fitness the way I was sweating. Atleast the atm worked🤷‍♂️

My friends and I had so much fun here on a Friday night. The outside is unassuming but the later in the evening you arrive you will begin to notice a line outside. We arrived at 9:30 and it was pretty empty inside. I would say by 10:15/10:30 it was packed. It's a small place with an expansive bar, smaller bar in the corner, a couple of booths, small outdoor patio with a taco stand and a DJ inside spinning Latin and reggaeton jams. They are a tequila and mezcal bar so most drinks feature those spirits and there are plenty of delicious cocktails to try. I thought the price was really affordable by LA standards and my friends and I had a great time dancing the night away!

Very chill and memorable experience here. Cocktails were good and corresponded to our tastes. The bartenders and waiter were extremely friendly and welcoming. Such a good time that I forgot to take a picture of anything. Would definitely come again!

One of the best tequila bars I've ever been to! Staff were very well seasoned, and friendly! Atmosphere is very genuinely Mexican, as you'll soon discover once you set foot in this vibrant place!
