Love this place! Sat at the bar for Happy Hour. Zack was a wonderful bartender. Cocktails were half price from 3-7. They were delicious and very strong! Fried chicken sandwich was also very delicious! Decor and vibe was classy and beautiful. Highly recommend and will definitely return.

Had an amazing night here at the Misfit. Went for a casual guys night, and our server Yvonne really made it memorable. The food was great I really liked the wings. The chicken sandwich and smash burgers here are huge and we enjoyed every bite.

Update 2023 Definitely worth squeezing into the bar if you can find a spot. Came in here on a Monday night for happy hour, packed! The atmosphere is definitely there. I do feel like if you can get a Smashburger for 50% off at $7 currently, it's well worth the experience. I will definitely be back here just for the burger during happy hour for sure. 2022 I came in here on a Saturday night. Definitely had good atmosphere. Unfortunately though we were just bar hopping, so didn't really get a chance to have the entire experience. But for now, first impression, it's clean, the wait staff is pretty good about checking in on everyone, and there was definitely room to move around. I'll be visiting again soon to update.

This place is amazing! Exceptional service, great atmosphere, delicious food, phenomenal cocktails and an incredible happy hour! We tried the Crispy Chicken Sandwich, the Fair Hills Apple Salad and the Misfit Mac & Cheese! We will definitely be back!

Amazing amazing amazing happy hour menu. So many gluten free options. GF mac and cheese was to die for! Kale salad was HUGE! Romantic atmosphere. Stairs must be taken to the bathroom though FYI. The only thing that would have made it better was if the bun for the hamburger was actually a gluten free bun and not just bread.

The Misfit Bar & Restaurant is a solid choice, earning a strong 4.5-star rating. Their cocktails are on point, offering a variety of strong and flavorful options. What sets them apart is their commitment to vegetarian options, ensuring there's something delicious for everyone. If you're looking for a place that combines great drinks with veg-friendly choices, The Misfit is worth a visit.

We decided to check out this restaurant for a leisurely brunch, but unfortunately, the food didn't quite live up to our expectations. The brunch options offered were rather basic, leaning more towards typical bar foods, and while the quality was decent, it didn't leave a lasting impression. One thing that bothered me personally was the absence of drip coffee, which seemed a bit odd for a brunch spot. They only had espresso drinks available, and even my cappuccino turned out to be pretty average. On a positive note, they do offer bottomless mimosas for $23, and it was evident that many customers were enjoying them. The atmosphere of the bar-restaurant is quite intriguing, creating an interesting vibe for an afternoon hangout and drinks. The staff were friendly and accommodating, adding to the overall pleasant experience. However, when it comes to breakfast specifically, I must say there are far better options available in Santa Monica. I would recommend this place more for a laid-back hangout and drinks in the afternoon rather than a go-to spot for a satisfying breakfast.

Came to Venice Beach, California for a much needed vacation. After exploring the local eateries, was a bit sad with the selection of gluten-free and friendly restaurants available...that is, until quite literally stumbling upon Misfit Bar & Restaurant! Having a neurological disease called Ataxia that's triggered by gluten, it's difficult to find the type of high quality food that you can enjoy at this restaurant. We enjoyed, and HIGHLY recommend the Bacon Wrapped Dates, these are unbelievable and basically melt in the mouth! Next, Prime Rib Nik Niks, piled high and toppling with flavour! Then we had to ask for the menu again and gave the Falafel Lettuce Wraps a whirl and were not disappointed! The atmosphere is warm and bumpin'! And then there's the staff, we were pampered! Thank you all, and the chefs, for giving us a wonderful experience both inside and out! Will definitely return 100%!!!!

I came here with my gf to find a chill bar to drink eat and ideally watch the nba game. There was only one tv which was outside of viewing distance so there went that idea. Nevertheless, we got seated pretty much instantly on a 7pm saturday night. Ambience was great with the lights being dim, high ceiling, and people chatting away. All the food came out blazing and a little suspiciously too fast. We got the Japanese Lager - really light beer that didnt even taste like one tbh Handmade Fries - 7/10 typical fries. honey mustard sauce was best part. huge portion. Mac and cheese - typical mac and cheese laced with jalapenos. also pretty big portion prime rib knicks - basically sliders with prime rib. easily the best part of the meal. Reminded me of house of prime rib Sangria - watered down sangria that seemed like it was prepared in advance. I would probably come back again but in a larger group setting. Their happy hour deal seems really legit. Overall not too expensive and good value

Great place to share amazing food with friends. All plates are shareable portions. Our waiter was super friendly, helpful, and made great jokes. The drinks are good and strong, we'll definitely be back!

We arrived late in Santa Monica and we were looking for a place to eat that didn't close too early. We landed in this bar-restaurant a little bit by chance. The least we can say is that we were absolutely not disappointed! We were a group of six and despite the crowd, the waiter quickly found us a table. The atmosphere was lively. Our food was tasty and the cocktails delicious but most of all, we appreciated the service. Our waiter was very attentive to our needs. Thank you again!

The food was yummy , I got the butternut squash pasta , it had great flavor but the portion was small it was only 4 pieces and I was still hungry after eating it . My brother got the tacos it was only came with 2 tacos so definitely get another dish. The NY streak was great , good portion the fries was so delicious and came with a side salad . also the coke was like 5$ and they give you a can or a bottle . Our waitress was super nice and great vibe !

I really enjoyed the drinks AND food here. They had many vegetarian / vegan friendly options which I was happy to see. I had the Mezzaluna pasta and the red pepper+walnut dip. What can I say.... It was one of the best meals I had in LA so far. The pasta was creamy and perfect in texture and taste. The dip was an explosion of flavor in my mouth. It was finger-licking good. Please do yourself a favor and order it!

Great and friendly service! Absolutely nostalgic and stunning interior. The smash burger is phenomenal if you like a nice filling, and, juicy burger. The burger was so delicious, I didn’t get to snap a picture of it. Pictured below is the Chicken sandwich. Also great. But genuinely hard to top the Smash Burger

We sat down after 6:30 pm and the server told us about the happy hour with 50% off cocktails and wines by the glass till 7:00 pm. What a pleasant surprise! We ordered the Tuscan Kale Quinoa salad, the Farmers Market Beets salad and the shrimp and bass ceviche. The kale salad was OMG good. I told the server that I loved fennel and frisée to beets. He said he should be able to request for the portion adjustment. They did a fantastic job on that! We definitely will come back when we are in town again! ❤️

One of our favorite go to restaurants in Santa Monica. 1/2 price drinks most of the day/night, nice selection of food and decent prices. Service ranges from solid good to excellent. Highly recommend it. Chicken sandwich, mac and cheese, and chicken lentil soup are all excellent choices.

Went there and ordered a drink $28.80 for a vodka soda. Sat outside on a table double table with permission of the occupants of the other half of the table. And got asked by a waiter to leave the table so I left the venue on principle and didn’t even have a sip of the expensive vodka. Worst customer service I’ve ever seen in my life. Don’t go there if you want to have a good time and be a respected customer. Useless!!!

The food was fresh and delicious. Service was wonderful and staff was friendly. Minus two stars because they charged for a birthday ice cream scoop with no heads up.

Really liked this bar, nice staff, good atmosphere and good happy hour until 7pm. Slightly soured by someone stealing our jacket, but thankfully we got it back and staff removed the individual. All in all a good bar!

It's a beautiful place, the drinks are 5 stars, the food was really good. Here is my negative experience: service was ok, our server when I asked him to bring me 2 cups with ice for the waters, he only brought 1 and didn't refill our water again. The fries were salty; it's a huge portion, but they were salty.

Incredible food and drinks. You know I love a good vibe too. This is a dope restaurant and bar with original bank security boxes and other elements of the original building. Simply incredible. Prices are good and the drinks are strong. We had the Hummus (hands down the best I've had), Jidori chicken and Crispy lobster Nik Niks!

This is such a cute hidden gem. The ambiance is so romantic and calming but mature. I came here for date night and made it in time for happy hour. Everything we ordered was amazing. My partner had the NY Steak Fries and I had the Smash Burger. I also had the White Sangria and the Chemeleon, which is like a Chamomile honey margarita. I highly recommend comming here for date night or a girls night. It's so easy to dress up or come in casual. Will be back to try more dishes. Also the Mint n Chip Gelato is the BEST I've ever had.

Been walking past this place for a couple of months now and finally decided I would stop in and try it out. Visited around 5pm and enjoyed half off cocktails and wine for happy hour. Started out with the green chili Mac and cheese for my appetizer and it was excellent. Main course was Ora King Salmon and was not disappointed. Finished off the meal with chocolate gelato and french press coffee. Only disappointment was the coffee. It was very watered down. Servers were attentive and food was served at a comfortable pace. Will return to try some other items on the menu that caught my eye.

Love this place! The service is always above and beyond with everyone on staff having the best attitude. Pair that with phenomenal food and a generous happy hour I take everyone here when I’m in the area!

Not bad. I didn't get a menu when I was seated and everyone around me had one. The Mac and cheese is not bad I wish that it had more flavor and spice. The pasta they used was so overcooked and the serving size looked kinda small but was perfect for 1 person. And the other reviews were accurate the fries r a lot for 2 people to even finish. The inside was decorated nicely and had a cool vibe to it. Drinks r ok just really overpriced.

Great atmosphere! We had brunch here and the food was all amazing. It does come out as soon as it's ready, so I highly recommend getting a plate of their fries to split while everyone's dishes are arriving.

Had drinks at the bar, where the bartender was great! It was busy, but he was taking orders from people as he was making other drinks... super impressive. Dinner was also great, and the our waitress was very good. Cool ambiance

Wife & I were visiting from miami. Never ate or been to LA. First place we ate was here. I was impressed starting from the Host, well spoken curtious and kind. He sat us in a quaint little section, Harry G approached with great confidence introducing himself. We were a bit lost with menu but he explained and suggested great things. Food was impressive and quite good. There bowl of French fries are a must! Harry is a great server, has a bright future. Thank you to the team at misfits from back to front of the house. You made our experience that evening everything.. Blessings 😁
