A large, spacious brewery with high ceilings connected to Union Station. The architecture of the building is the same blend of Spanish Colonial and Art Deco as Union Station itself. There are multiple games available for patrons and commuters, including three beautiful Art Deco-style tables with two chess boards inlaid in each. Wooden pieces are available by request from the bartender. Pieces are stored in beer glasses and are not sorted. Ask for a few cups to guarantee that you get all of the pieces needed for a game. As bonus, because this brewery is connection to Union Station, it can be easily reached by almost any train in Los Angeles.

Tasty fun spot located in Union Station. Easy to get here via public Transit. Great selection of beers 🍺 and food. The bartenders and servers are very hospitable. They have games for you to play such as chess, pool, backgammon and a nostalgic Photo Booth. Favorite Foods: Pretzel, Onion Rings, Loaded Nachos Best time to go: Dodgers Games!!!!

Hey! This place is great! Digging the Stations Gilded Age design and the guy running the bar where pretty nice. Overall good food[not a giant selection, but good stuff) and really great beers! You guys make some tasty beers...that Tropical IPA was awesome! Rooting for ya....

Went for drinks before the "42" game at Chavez Ravine. Place was pretty busy but not hectic so to skip the (sort of depressing now) Dodger dog at the stadium, ordered the Street Dog here with fries. Have to say it was one of the best hd's I've had in long time and 5x better than at the stadium. If you think the photo looks good, wait till you sink your taste buds into one! Fries were crispy and tasty but barely enough for one person let alone 2. I believe Chris was the bartender and made some great drinks, I'll be looking for him next time!

Dope spot to go to when traveling. Bartenders are all around cool people and have good conversation. The bar seems to stay on top of adding new brews for variety. They also are unique with their service, for example… the shot of tequila with salt and lime had chili added to it and it was really good. This place has awesome service and I highly recommend 🤘

Very unique place and brewery, and may not be for everyone. Made the drive from Garden Grove with a friend to check it out and I don't regret it! I really enjoyed the beer selection. Very chill and the staff is great! We got here around 8:40 and there wasn't many people, but it picked up through the night. We'll definitely be back.

This place is a hidden gem! Their drinks are amazing and their food is fantastic. Chicken nachos are delicious but their stand out for me is the street dog. Best hot dog I’ve ever had! The drinks are strong and their music makes the ambiance! Will come again and again!!!

I love this place. Great stop before the Dodgers if you're catching the shuttle from Union Station to the stadium. Great beers on tap at a fraction of the price as Dodger Stadium. And service has always been great with short waits.

Excellent happy hour, deep menu, 1.5L steins, can’t lose. If you enjoy beautiful architecture and chill vibes then this is the place for you! We enjoyed their chicken tenders, fries, and plenty of beer. I appreciate the small touches like shuffleboard and giant connect four. Will definitely be coming back for more of the same.

I recently hosted a beer tasting event at this fantastic beer bar, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional! The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our group, providing top-notch service throughout the evening. The selection of beers was outstanding, featuring a diverse range of craft brews, all of which were impeccably stored and served. We were particularly impressed with the knowledgeable and friendly staff who guided us through the tasting. Plus, the value for the quality of beers and service was unbeatable. I can't wait to return for another memorable evening.

I had a nice lunch on my way out to Pasadena from the airport. The vegan sausage plate was filling and spicy, with great sauerkraut and mustard. The interior is also really fun to view.

Great establishment for sports viewing, shuffle board, billiards and has the historic Union Station preserved aesthetic. Music varies from classic rock to new wave to old school rap. Bartenders are very social and actively check in on you, if seated at the bar, to help you enjoy your time. Coed bathrooms are kept clean and private. Sneak a peek in the back at their distillery tanks, cool sight to see.

My wife and I took a quick trip to LA to visit a few breweries. We got the chance to visit several. We also stopped by The Last Bookstore, an experience in of itself. We took the train ($15 round trip) and had some time to kill before headed home. We stopped by Homebound Brew Haus for a pint. Yes, this brewery is IN Union Station. We had 2 beers and a pretzel. The highlight of the visit, thought, was the bartender. He introduced himself and asked how we were doing. I was honest... Told him I had a bad day. A few minutes later he comes over, pours me a shot of tequila, shakes my hand and wishes me good evening. Amazing. The beers were good, the pretzel, and cheese, was tasty and the price was right. Can't wait to come visit again. Cheers!

Amazing cocktails and a great ambiance. We sat outside and enjoyed the string lights on the patio. Vaccine cards required to order or go inside to the bar. A lovely addition to Union station.

This place is a hidden gem. I cannot believe this place isn't packed all the time. Probably one of the coolest venues ever: the room is awesome. Ther beers are excellent and very reasonably priced. And the food is delicious. Kid and dog friendly with table games, pool and shuffleboard. I you've been here, you know. If you haven't, this is 100% worth a try.

I've NEVER had good service here. The bar staff are always oblivious to people at the bar. You can wait five, ten minutes while they talk to each other or just walk around making no eye contact with anyone. You have to blatantly get their attention or get up and walk over to them. It's happened the last four time's I've been in. The only saving grace is the really nice host at the door. He's really cool and welcoming.

Stopped here after an Amtrak ride to LA. Seemed like a happening bar at Union Station. Great staff and drinks. Will be back.

If you’re at Union Station, definitely stop in. Amazing architecture, good draft beer selection, burger was fantastic. They have Happy Hour specials. Staff are generally friendly. Usually a decent crowd. I disliked getting ID’d at the door - I’m very obviously over 21. I still go back regularly though.

So far the best hotdog I've ever tasted is from Denmark. Homebound Brew Haus seems to be on my top ten. It's not that healthy but it's a nice treat once in a while.. I love their flaming corn, carne asada taco/fries, churros and the patty melt dog. Staff/cashiers are nice. Though the downside is that it gets very busy on the weekends and the lines are VERY long as well as the wait time to get your food is at least 20mins.

Cool place in a restored classy setting inside Union Station. You might not expect it given the location but there's always a fun crowd! Update: They have now reopened after the pandemic and they're still just as good. Plenty of great beers and kind staff. There's still a solid food menu as well plus some house cocktails. Yes, there are some big TVs but it doesn't feel like any old sports bar, it's a unique experience for sure. They have shuffleboard and an outdoor patio now!

Brew, nourishment, and trains! Association station realizes how to attract a group. Great administration, decent mood, and cool area. My solitary issue was that their nourishment menu was tiny, yet the majestic red lager compensated for it. My burger was extremely delicious by the by!

I can't say enough good things about Homebound Brew Haus! The service here is exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff who are passionate about their craft. The quality of the beer is outstanding, featuring a diverse range of brews to satisfy all tastes. What's even more impressive is the value for money – you get top-notch beers without breaking the bank. A must-visit for beer connoisseurs!
