The restaurant is as popular as ever. The dining room and outdoor tables are all occupied, the food is superb and the service is excellent. Even the chef is working tables! The octopus is the reason why I come but we enjoyed everything we ordered. The profiteroles are a hit tonight! I recommend Angelini for any occasion.

Grade A (92) The Appetizers: Pizza Arduia as an appetizer was much better than the simple look that it had. Rec Beets Salad was ok, Tuna Crostino was good, Salami Misti (I wouldn't get next time, very insignificant and presentation was blah). Tagliolini Limone is very good, but it works better for me as an appetizer, each one gets a small share and cleans the palate, it's not satisfying as an entree, Bolognese was very good, Penne Vodka (best among all that was tried there), Bone Marrow is a nice size, 2 large bones, I'm not a bone marrow person but one in our group loves it. The desserts: Panna Cotta was fabulous, among the better ones that I've had. Tiramisu was very good, a bit strong on the coffee but still very good. Gelato was excellent also. A good dining experience, ambience is good, good is good but a bit pricey, take a look at the process on the receipt.

Love the zucchini flowers and the tomahawk steak. Had a rainy dinner here and we were seated outside. As much they tried to block out the rain, it was inevitable to still get wet. Interesting experience to have New Year’s Eve dinner outdoors, rain + spluttering raindrops + traffic noise + loud chatter + music. Interesting experience really. Overall great service with the wetness and great food! I also love the squid ink ravioli and the bone marrow. Awesome flavours and a happy new year.

The food wasn't as good as I expected, but I was more disappointed with the service. It seemed that the kitchen had become confused, taking in more customers than they could handle. When our food was too slow to serve, we asked a female staff to check if our order was being processed properly in the kitchen, but she irresponsibly replied, "Yes, It's fine," without even checking with kitchen. In fact, the kitchen was in chaos and when the food came out an hour later, the salad was forgotten and the main course came out first. I was very disappointed with the irresponsible response of the female staff, and not with the kitchen as mistakes can happen to anyone when they are busy. My husband had made a reservation for my birthday and I was looking forward to going there, but unfortunately, the restaurant was a disappointment.

What I can else say besides that we felt at home, Italian flavors on every single plate. From the appetizer to the mouth-watering dessert by one of the best pastry chefs in town! it is pure joy for your heart and soul. The seafood risotto is THE risotto as we Italians do at home. the menu entails a selection of only Italian dishes and pizzas with a variety of good wines to combine. The service is great! The price really fair for the stunning plates they serve. Amazing! Looking forward to going back there.

We haven't been here since the pandemic but WOW! Every restaurant has an off night. This was theirs. It was my birthday dinner. We were seated outside under a broken heat lamp and I was freezing. They moved us into the "party" room. The decor was extremely lacking. We were by ourselves for quite a while. It took an hour for our salad to arrive. Then we split the lemon pasta, which was delicious. The manager came by several times to apologize for the room and the service. She said our meal would be compted. Our main finally showed up. My fish had tons of bones! In the end the poor waitress had to inform us that they weren't comping our meal just the fish! Not a good time at all!

Beautiful and wonderful Italian restaurant. They have nice appetizers, pastas and secondi. Also they have a special food; Roasted Veal Bone Marrow. I have never seen and eaten this kind of dish. It was sooo amazing. Also pastas were very nice. House made spaghetti with Truffles was sooo fantastic!!! Nice staffs and servers were there. They were so kind and very friendly. They served us very carefully.

Michael gave great customer service. Portions were skimpy from the wine pour to all the dishes except the branzino. Food tasted mediocre. We liked the thin crust pizza. Should have gone to our regular spot and left more full.

As far as Italian goes in LA, this place is really good. I only got a couple of dishes but both were amazing and I wish I got more honest. Would I will definitely come back again.

Recently tried this place for the first time. Ordered the bone marrow and black truffle pasta. Both were absolutely incredible. The pictures hardly do it justice. I highly recommend trying for yourself.

We were running 15 minutes late yet were still greeted warmly and welcomed in. We chose to sit outside and pleased we did as we had a table in the courtyard area which had a nice romantic feel and was more private than the seating on the street area. We ate the lemon cream spaghetti and lasagne, both tasted amazing. The profiteroles for pudding were delicious, I would highly recommend them! All the staff were friendly and attentive, and able to help with some questions about the wine.

The lemon pasta was perfectly creamy/citrus. We sat outside. Wine recommendations were spot on. The staff are all very hardworking and kind.

celebrated my friend’s birthday here ordered italian sausage pizza, the warm octopus salad & the spicy vodka sauce penne and tiramisu as dessert Pizza: average not amazing but hit all the points Octopus salad: DELICIOUS! anyone coming here should get it, well seasoned with great char on the outside and soft and well cooked in the inside Spicy sauce penne: looks sooooo underwhelming when served as it was literally JUST PASTA AND SAUCE not even a green veggie garnish on top, but the pasta it self was so so good! the sauce was amazing and they are not joking when they say it’s spicy Tiramisu: it was good from a non-tiramisu lover’s point of view, plus it was served with the waiter singing a birthday song cuz I mentioned in my reservation it was my friend’s birthday Ok now move on to the not so satisfactory part: the service They weren’t rude or unfriendly BUT it don’t know if it’s the short of staff or just bad management, no one seems to be available and knows what is going on. Gave us take out box when we did not ask for it, waited forever to get someone to take our bill Also the outdoor seats get a bit chilling at night since there is no fire, the distance between table is also relatively narrow.

This was the first time I’ve dined at this long established Italian restaurant. Our server was wonderful, very attentive and pleasant. The dinning room we were in is small, tables tight together so it can get a little noisy. There were 3 of us dinning and we shared 2 dishes and each had our own pasta. All the dishes were excellent. I had the Bonbolotti Mancini, outstanding dish. The pasta were cooked al dente just delicious. Linguine Santa Barbara Sea Urchin and Tagliolini Limone were other entrees we had. The Gelati Mist was a great desert of chocolate, vanilla and pistachio trio. We had the Apple Tart alla Milanese as well but would recommend the Gelati. Will definitely be going back for dinner again.

Came for a birthday dinner! There was a wait for a table even though we had a reservation but they really accommodated and made us feel like honored guests. Thank you to Stefano and the team for making our first time special. The food is also delicious. Great Service and food can be a rare combination in LA but you can find it here and I will definitely be back soon. I also love that the staff is Italian- offering an authentic atmosphere and great recommendations.

I enthusiastically recommended your company to all of my neighbors! I really liked your restaurant since it was really sophisticated and suitable for individuals searching for a romantic evening with their significant other. Your service appeals to me since it is well-organized and timely. People, you deserve to be at the top of the list! Thank you so much!

I had one of the best swordfish steaks I've had in a long time. Cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. The dining "experience" felt a bit flat but it was lifted by the quality of the food.

Loved this place super chill and best of all they have happy hour on the weekend The potato skins could be a little better but my girlfriend and I loved the margaritas. Our server was amazing I forgot his name but he was a young African American.

Overpriced for what it is. It was good but the dishes are very small. I had 3 dishes and could still have ate another. The lasagna was tasty and the octopus was cooked perfect. We had a very nice waitress, Graziel, who was very helpful when we were ordering.

Make reservations a few days in advance and ask for outside seating. You won’t be disappointed as long as the weather is good. We had a larger party of 6 and were able to move the time back. They are very accommodating. Once we sat the dinning experience was pretty spot. From appetizers to entrees everything was nothing short of superb. The bone marrow was a delicious little experience but in my opinion the octopus was the golden egg of the hour!! Let us not forget the Truffle fettuccine!! I mean just not enough good things to be said. You must give it a try. My only complaint is with the layout of the interior. The bathroom location being right off the main traffic area and it never slows down. While I was waiting for the restroom I felt like I was I. Their way even though none of them mentioned, hinted or missed a step in their routines. It was just way to compact. Especially given the outside is beautiful seating and relaxing.

Nice place - great outdoor seating. Good customer service. The food was great. The salami misti was nice with the fresh Burrata and prosciutto on top. The fried Zucchini flowers were also nicely made. May favorite was the bone marrow - super tasty. The chicken livers were cooked well and flavorful- though it could use some heat. The bolognese had fresh pasta.... Definitely recommend this place. Good for a casual evening. And their price is affordable.

I came to Angelini Osteria three times already. This is my favorite restaurant. The staff members are professionals. They take care of you. The food quality is excellent. I have always eaten Italian food, as that is my heritage and grew up eating homemade pasta. This place has good quality pasta and pizza that gives you the option to add black truffles. The spritz’s is bomb as they do use Martini Rossi Fiero instead of Aperol. I loved the ambiance and the deserts are next level. The one I recommend is the gluten free chocolate cake… You’re not going to regret it. Thank you :)

The Tagliolini Al Limone tasted great but was a pretty small portion for a whopping $25. I don’t mind having to pay for quality food, but the order should contain more pasta.

Very rushed vibe. Food was not bad, but not what I expected of an LA institution such as this. The pasta was fine (lasagne was definitely over cooked, though). Not bad, but for the money, I’d argue there are some other really great tasting pastas nearby. The vibe is fun and there is a verve, but it’s not for everyone.

We were greeted at the door by Elizabetta. From the moment we walked in, she was very kind and very attentive. She was very knowledgeable in the available options, along with suggestions for pairings with our food. We hope to be back in the near future and we hope it’s on a night that she is there! Thank you! Also, the atmosphere here is very lovely! We imagined that it would be hard to pull off nice outdoor seating right next to Beverly Blvd but this place pulls it off! :)

Friendly staff, good food and good vibes! A must visit Italian restaurant in LA. The food is good and the portion is big. Although the place is quiet small, but they served us well even though we bring 2 toddlers here.

Polipo (grilled octopus salad) was very delicious, but the Panna Cotta outshined in the end.

This place is always packed and for good reason! The atmosphere just rocks. The staff is super friendly. The happy hour is a great deal. And the food is delicious! Visited in December and the place is totally decked out. Bloody Mary's were on point. The breakfast burger hit the spot and man, the fries!!!!!!.... Holy hell, say bye bye diet. Totally worth it! We weren't fond of the Caesar dressing and both the owner and waiter were apologetic and made it right for us immediately. That shows a lot to me!

Outdoor dining was great. I had the risotto and it was really good, maybe spectacular. I've lived in the North bay and this was the first time here, maybe I shouldn't try to avoid Pier 39 so much. Definitely recommend

  • 4/5 Rose J. 3 years ago on Google
Truly amazing...the waitress was super nice and offered a lot of explanations since we're so indecisive. MUST order any dish with dungeness crab, they gave you a generous amount of crab meat (totally worth the price)!

  • 4/5 Rebecca B. 3 years ago on Google
Is there an option for 6 stars? One of the best clam chowders I've ever had - it is award winning! The restaurant is located on one of the piers, definitely a touristy spot. There are about 10 tables located right by the window that overlook the bay - amazing vibes! But if you don't want to wait, you can opt for the corner tables or the bar seats.

  • 4/5 Heather L. 3 years ago on Google
First impressions - not the most orderly way of adding your name to the list. Several people more in the know had the opportunity to put their names in, which matters since the wait is inordinately long.

Glad to have one of these Korean Chinese in our area. Recommend the Tang soo yook and Cha Jang myun. We'll be back soon.

After days of quarantine k-drama binge watching marathons, my husband was craving Korean style fried chicken. We have heard that Furai does a pretty good job so we placed our order over the phone. We ordered their full size fried chicken, spicy rice cakes and sweet potato fries. Family loved everything, grateful that we didn't have to drive out to ktown and folks were friendly. Couple things... I wish they took payment over the phone or online and wish everyone was wearing masks and gloves. Maybe with the number of confirmed CV19 cases rising, they may consider being geared up?

The restaurant is perfect to unwind and relax! The service crew are friendly and attentive especially, Ms. Ana and Mr. John, who were very accommodating. She and other staff members made certain that I had everything I needed. The food is great and affordable. Furthermore, I'm looking forward to visiting this place with my family and friends.

The mouth-watering food and huge portions although takeout are satisfying, yet it didn't break the bank. Pretty much sums up my delightful experience! Recommend this place!

  • 4/5 Betty V. 3 years ago on Google
Can't speak highly enough of this establishment. YES, the wait will be at least 2.5 hours, but it is absolutely worth every minute. The line is split up into three sections and each section takes 30-45 minutes. Once you get to the front section, you can see the action happening in the kitchen. The entire staff puts on a show for the ENTIRE day, throwing sandwiches around, singing songs, and making personal connections to every diner in the restaurant.

  • 4/5 Paul G. 3 years ago on Google
Ambiance is pretty cute. Obviously don't expect to have too much room but they know what they're doing. My friend got this seafood pasta with a cream sauce that was bomb. I got the seafood risotto and was underwhelmed. However, we had a good time and who doesn't love to where a crab bib like a damn adult!

  • 5/5 Nathan R. 3 years ago on Google
The pizza's crust is thin but with enough crisp to eat without a fork and knife. And lots of savory toppings so you can tell it was made with care! I swear it's a mission to find good pizza in L.A. but these guys who made the pizza so great and tasty are badass! Highly recommend!

  • 4/5 Danny G. 3 years ago on Google
Before choosing this particular LA spot, I read some reviews. Some were good, some were on the fence but overall it was the choice place to go. Why, because it sounded lively and had a solid beer selection on tap. What I ended up getting into is what truly wowed me and I would go back again in a heartbeat.

  • 4/5 samantha s. 3 years ago on Google
I can't say enough good things. The burgers are great and the owner is passionate and that excitement for what he does shines through. We come in for brunch and stay for the service. If you're in the area definitely stop by!

I don't usually rate restaurants but Morrison went above and beyond to provide incredible service. My food and cocktails were delicious (specifically their gin gimlet), but what melted my heart is that they brought out a silver water dish and complimentary biscuits ON AN EMBELLISHED SILVER TEA TRAY for my Doggy, Percy. If only all businesses treated Doggy guests with such love, the world would be a much better place. Thank you Morrison!

Fantastic restaurant for any occasion! I've heard so many great reviews from friends and colleagues about Bestia and I finally got a chance to try it. I was fortunate enough to grab a reservation a week in advance through OpenTable. In addition, try to find street parking if you're not fond with the valet parking price.

  • 4/5 Stovia D. 3 years ago on Google
La Pergoletta is such a gem. The moment you walk inside you are transported to an old school Italian restaurant with very homey vibes. The service is 10/10. The food quality is unparalleled. We came in on a Wednesday and made a reservation on yelp and was seated immediately. They give you a complimentary olive oil and balsamic dip and warm olive and plain bread. I got the spinach ravioli with arrabbiata sauce and my bf got the pappardelle boscaiola. Both dishes were absolutely heavenly. The pappardelle was the perfect level creamy and savory. In addition, all of the pasta was perfectly al dente. The arrabbiata was slightly saltier than I would make for myself but it was still good. I would like to go back and try more of their sauces particularly like some of the cream sauces and mushroom sauces. Also, note that they do have a parking lot but it is fairly small so when they are busier, it is definitely a lot harder to find parking. I will definitely be back!

Offering scrumptious dishes with fine execution, Bestia has some of the best Italian fare in LA. Be sure to make a reservation on Open Table 1-2 months in advance though! Even then the only tables available are at 5pm or 11pm, no joke. Valet is $9, otherwise you can try your luck with street parking.

For a neighborhood place a block from our hotel, it was a solid place to spend a couple of hours. We did not try any games. Bartender (young white female) was very knowledgeable and helpful with the beer and bar snacks selection. I would like to apologize to her for my husband seeming like he had a problem with our bill - he did not - he's a super sweet dude who has serious Resting Scowl Face. It wasn't you.

Their bulgogi soup is amazingggggg It's a korean soup place ^^ They take time to explain the soups on the menu to you, what they're made of, what's in them, if they're spicy, etc. If you're sick this flu season this will be sure to soothe your heart, tummy & throat ~

This place is the real deal. I've tried many ramen spots in LA and this takes the cake. Came for my second time this week and it did not disappoint. The Spicy Tonkotsu is my favorite, they also have many add ons to your order such as corn and black truffle oil! I normally don't like egg in my ramen as it isn't always cooked well but I tried it at Kontentsu and it was perfect. Will be coming regularly! Highly recommended.

What a fantastic find! Angelini Osteria restaurant is a true culinary haven. The ambiance is both elegant and comfortable, striking the perfect balance for a memorable dining experience. The service was outstanding – the staff's attention to detail and genuine enthusiasm for the cuisine made us feel like honored guests. And the food, oh my goodness! It was a gastronomic journey through Italy. The flavors were authentic and bold, and the presentation was a feast for the eyes. This restaurant exceeded all my expectations and is now at the top of my list for Italian dining.
