Such a cute cafe! The food and coffee are so good! Service is very friendly and there is plenty of patio seating. The decor inside is very cute as well. We’ve only been for breakfast but it seems they have a pretty good happy hour also. Definitely recommend

Alcove is one of those places that you will always come back to even if you have already tried all other brunch places in LA. If you want to have a yummy and generously sized sandwich, this is the place to go. Fancy a dessert after? Yep, they have it here as well. Need that caffeine fix? Grab your LA staple drink HERE! We were lucky that we went here during their somehow downtime on a late Monday afternoon and we did not wait in line for so long. I've been here so many times during different days and times of the week and let me tell you - they're are always ✨booked and busy✨. WHAT WE ORDERED: Tuna Pesto Panino - Huge and tasty AF! I'm usually not a turkey on a sandwich person, but I was able to finish everything, that says a lot. Short Rib Sandwich - Perfect for your before 6 dinner, amazingly good and flavorful though kinda greasy lol. Banana Pudding Cake (?) - 4/5 for a first timer with this cake! Chocolate Chip Cheesecake - ALL TIME FAVORITE!

Overall, I like this place! The food I’ve had is pretty good. I visited a few times so I’ve had breakfast items as well as much! And, most recently I’ve tried a pastry and a cake. Breakfast has just been OK. The omelettes are good, but nothing earth shattering :) I wish the little potatoes they served with them were seasoned a little more. The salmon I had on one visit was really good and cooked perfectly. I also tried an apple tart and it was amazingly flavorful. I also tried a lemon blueberry cake on my last visit. It was a $10 slice of cake and I honestly wouldn’t pay two dollars to have it again. It was weirdly dense to be a cake and the flavor was mediocre. Otherwise, I do enjoy this restaurant for certain items and will return. You just have to know what to order. Everything is not worth the price.

Adorable little spot to grab breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee, and drinks. We popped in for breakfast this week, arrived around 9:45 and there were a few people around but there was no wait whatsoever. I’ve been here a few times and really enjoy the service and the ambiance. Plus there’s some cute shops within walking distance.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Alcove Cafe and Bakery, and let me tell you, it was an absolute five-star experience from start to finish. To begin my morning, I ordered the Lemon Dream Montresso to drink, and it was nothing short of a dream come true – a harmonious blend of flavors that truly brightened my day. For breakfast, I had the Country Breakfast, which was a delightful surprise. This mouthwatering dish featured two Lemon Ricotta Pancakes drizzled with pecan syrup, and every bite was a burst of flavor. It left my taste buds dancing with joy and my tummy completely satisfied. Dining on the open patio was an added treat. The ambiance was simply delightful and perfectly complemented the delicious drink and food. But what really captivated me was the aroma of freshly baked goods that filled the air – it's like stepping into a bakery wonderland. In summary, I can't recommend the Alcove Cafe and Bakery enough. Whether you're in search of a delectable breakfast, a refreshing drink, or a charming spot to relax, this place has it all. I'm already looking forward to my next visit! 🍋🥞🥐🌞

Great food and great atmosphere! Love the outdoor patio seating. The eggs, salmon and potato cake were all excellent!

I will come back here again for sure. I like the vibe and ambiance. The food that I ordered was good. I got the fried chicken sandwich plate with salad. The salad was amazing. The fried chicken sandwich was flavored just right in my opinion and had some crunch which was nice. I would prefer it being a chicken breast instead of a thigh however.

Actually a nice place to eat with outdoor space and bar inside. It's quite pricey though, $15 for a glass of rose (hmmm). Also, food is good but some portions just don't need to be that big, such as the burrito...why can't I have half? Simple, light meals are not here so keep in mind.

This is one of my absolute FAVORITE cafes in Los Angeles. French feel like Cafe. Open til around 11 pm. The food and desserts are so good!!! Pretty much anything I try here is delicious! Coming here for brunch is super fun. Such a nice vibe, excellent food and ambiance. They have plenty of outdoor space. They have different areas with a different feel. They also have a bar area. Feel I’m Europe while in LA. Try the German chocolate cake and gluten free carrot cake! Even is the place looks full or has a line it goes by so quickly. Great service. Parking is not that hard. Just go in the residential area.

Food and baked goods are pretty good here. Surprisingly they offer quite a few Spanish/Mexican breakfast dishes. You line up to order at the cash register and then find yourself a table. My one knock on this place is that there’s no designated self parking. Only valet or try to find a space on the street which isn’t that easy in this area. If you’re not lucky, you’ll have to look on a side street.

Great service ...all I got was fries to go this time ,however I am looking forward to trying a sit down meal here next time I am in the area ! **UPDATE 7/14 The food is excellent the counter service is great "smiles and engaged banter" overall good energy & respectful crowd ! However once served and sitting down, the service seems to "get lost" the servers are not as attentive; as well as the (somewhat rude and disconnected lack of customer service) bussers/food runners/support staff(to servers& counter)...would definitely come back when in the area, as it wasn't a horrible or bad experience just a "different" one

Went on a weekday morning and it was not too crowded. There was a line but it moved quickly. Staff was friendly. I just wish they posted the menu qr code near the entrance rather than the register so I could take my time looking at it. (If there was another code I missed it.) There seems to be something on the menu for everyone. I can't wait to go back and explore the menu.

My friend Laura brought me here. The food is "to-die-for"!! The desserts are masterpieces and taste divine! The staff is amazing and super helpful for a newbie. We sat outside in a sweet garden-like atmosphere. Brick covered ivy provided protection from the hot sun, and the seating was comfortable and fun. At first glance, it's quirky like your friend's backyard, with string lights, and mismatched seating, but then you delve into their menu and are delighted. The food, wow! The food is tasty and pleasing to look upon. It was a sweet respite as we relaxed into the food, the atmosphere, and our company. I will definitely return the next time I am in LA.

Stopped here on a recommendation. Lots of outdoor seating on patio. Really cool ambiance. Go inside to order your food and then have a seat. The food was really fresh. We just left Disney and were really hungry so we went with the safe play with our orders All the food was fresh and was definitely worth the detour. Really looking forward to trying it again.

I loved the coffee and the quality. I bought 2 coffees, one was a triple shot of espresso with a splash of milk and one was a double shot with a splash of milk. it came out to almost $17. For the insane price I think you can find something just as good for a lot less. I would try Urth cafe instead.

EXCELLENT service, dog friendly, beautiful garden patios, something on the menu for everyone. Come for breakfast, brunch, lunch or happy hour on Monday-Friday 2-7. Dessert case is stunning!

We have been here a few times. Operates similar to Urth and Aroma cafe. This place does take reservations in advance and has a full service bar which is a plus. Plenty of seating and the turn over is quick. The good is always spot on and the vibe is trendy. The lines can get crazy so try to avoid peak times or make a full service reservation. For parking there is Valet and it will be a $10.25 charge with card. You can tip on the card as well.

Nice, cozy place, great variety of food, cake and coffee. I enjoyed the food and the cappuccino. We requested cinnamon on the top of the cappuccino, and the server came all the way to our table to add the cinnamon. The only difficulty is finding parking on the street or you choose to pay the valet and have your car 🚗 parked.

Casual dining with top-notch dishes and a full bar. We had the burger and buffalo chicken wrap, both excellent, accompanied by perfect cocktails. Chocolate chip cookie for dessert was scrumptious. Seating inside is tight but cozy, with some weird murals; plenty of seating outside under heat lamps.

One of our favorite dinner spots in Los Feliz! The atmosphere on a warm day is so lovely—with a great outdoor patio with lots of seating, Alcove is the spot to be. Our favorites include their salmon salad, all their bowl options, and their veggie burger. Their bread pudding dessert is to die for — a must try!

Great brunch spot . Highly recommend the shakshuka but beware it's a bit spicy . The crab toast was delicious. Very busy on the weekends however service was fast.

Came to Alcove for a business meeting over coffee. I’ve been here several times before, and I love this place! The outdoor seating is plentiful and man this place has great atmosphere. The service is friendly and fast. The drinks are served up quick and delicious. The bathroom was immaculate and private. Order any of the desserts with confidence. They’re amazing!

A delicious and cozy breakfast spot in Los Feliz. As soon as we walked in it felt as if we were walking into somebody's home. The customer service was super nice and efficient. We ordered coffee drinks and pastries. All of it was delicious and excellent to enjoy on the patio. Can't wait to go back.

Love, love this place. I've been here several times and have to say they have fantastic food, fresh, and the service is really wonderful. This time I had the Quiche Lorraine and it was the best ever! Beautiful patio! Tasty desserts! My pulled pork sandwich was good but it had a little too much fat for my taste. You have to walk up to the counter to order your food, drinks and desserts. They have a water dispenser and cups to get your own water. Deducted a star because I prefer having a server!

We dined at Alcove and we’re blown away by the amazing customer service. The employees were so genuine and super informative. The food was delicious too! We went in the evening, lighting and ambiance was enjoyable. It was a full house until closing time! That’s how you know you’re at the right place 😁🙌🏽

Cool lunch spot that also serves breakfast items. They also have a nice bar and a dinner menu. Seating is mostly outside with umbrella tables. You order inside, get a number then find yourself a seat. They bring you the food when ready. Coffee was good stuff, food was nice. Staff is super nice, their pastries are the best. I'd go again as ambiance was cool during lunch.

I enjoyed the Blackened Salmon Tacos, but the side of beans were bland. My cousin was impressed with the burger and salad. My wife loved her Chilaquiles even though they wasn't very hot when they came out.(Minus 1 star) Overall, our entire group was satisfied. We will be back in hopes to upgrade to 5 stars.

Great selection of brunch foods and bakery goods. There can be a line on weekends, but it moves pretty quickly. I love the outdoor garden setting.

The smoothie is delicious. The outdoor area is well decorated like a garden. It's cold because of the wind these days, but it was okay because there was a heater. This is where I want to come again.

The set up and the dining area is beautiful. Good place to enjoy a meal on beautiful day. The food is not anything out of the ordinary. I had the French toast. They were good but I bit over priced. I wouldn’t mind coming here again and try something different. @raulvsfood
