I
found
this
place
to
be
a
good
stopover
while
working
around
downtown
LA!
Grand
Park
is
a
wide
open
urban
park,
good
for
taking
in
prepared
food
to
eat,
joining
co-workers
for
a
break
and
join
friends
for
a
game
of
soccer.
It’s
also
a
good
area
for
festival
style
concerts
and
shows!
There’s
interesting
displays
of
flags
and
there’s
a
tribute
memorial
honoring
the
military
services
that
have
served
our
country!
There’s
a
covered
area
with
chairs
and
tables
and
a
well
maintained
restroom.
Grand
Park
is
next
to
the
famous
LA
City
Hall.
The
park
is
easily
accessible
on
foot
for
those
who
work
in
the
area,
as
well
as
attendees
to
local
functions,
events
and
commitments.
While
Grand
Park
is
free
to
use,
area
parking
will
be
expensive
for
any
length
of
stay.
So
a
stop
off
just
to
use
the
park
may
have
be
considered,
if
to
justify
the
expense!
Lastly,
the
ongoing
plantings
of
arid
tolerant
gardening
is
appreciated!
I
would’ve
liked
to
have
seen
more
tree
shade
and
naturalness
amongst
the
neatly
sectioned
spaces.
Tho
I
guess
it
goes
with
the
territory
of
limited
urban
space
here
and
the
tradeoff
of
not
having
hiding
places
for
vagrants,
with
whom
this
park
seems
to
be
freed
of.
I
felt
sad
for
those
who
were
displaced,
although
mindful
of
my
visitors
concerns
of
going
here.
