This park was great - Seems like I drove a day to get there, was able to let my puppy run - Fly My drone ... it was a great day. Following google maps was a bit tricky but it got me there - some of the roads coming from Hollywood, Los Angeles - there are like two ways in and one way on the quick up - is STRAIGHT UP and One lane roads ... Be careful but the drive is worth it!!! For Sure KONA Approved as I seemed to only get his Photos on this trip - Maybe next time more of the park!!

This is really the best and somewhat official spot to see the Hollywood sign. Don't stop along the GPS quoted route until you reach the park itself, you'll be tempted based on how many people park downhill and walk up, you can go through the residential neighborhoods right up to the park. It's a great view and parking is fairly easy since there's people are constantly coming and going.

Great dog park overrun by tourists. If you go over the weekend, it will look as you are arriving in a concert. Great view of the Hollywood sign and great place to relax early in the morning before the crowds.

On a perfect California day, I found myself heading to Lake Hollywood Park, eager to capture a view of the world-famous Hollywood sign that had always fascinated me. As I approached the park, I was met with a serene atmosphere. The park was nestled in the Hollywood Hills, offering a peaceful escape from the bustling city below. I began my leisurely walk along the trails, surrounded by lush greenery and the sweet scent of eucalyptus trees. The sound of chirping birds and the distant hum of the city below created a unique harmony. Finally, I reached the spot that everyone had come to see. The iconic Hollywood sign, perched on the hills, seemed larger than life. I couldn't help but take several photos, each one capturing the sign from a different angle and in varying light. It was a moment of reflection and appreciation for the dreams that had been created and fulfilled in the city of dreams. As I gazed at the sign, I felt a sense of connection to the history of Hollywood, and it was as though the sign whispered stories of countless stars and their journeys. The sun began its descent, casting a warm, golden hue over the landscape, creating a magical ambiance. The Hollywood sign seemed to glow in the fading light, and I realized that this place was not just a symbol of fame and fortune but a testament to the dreams, creativity, and aspirations of countless individuals. Leaving Lake Hollywood Park that evening, I carried with me a sense of wonder and a deeper understanding of the allure of Hollywood. It was not just about the sign or the city but the spirit of possibility and the magic of storytelling that brought people from all corners of the world to this enchanting place.

Nice place to stop for views. A few minutes drive to the top. Lots of tourists taking photos with the Hollywood sign from far. No bathrooms nearby. St parking free but limited and often no space. U can park at the bottom of the hill and walk up too. Saw lots people hiking up. Don’t see security or much shade. Nice park overall.

One of the best vantage points for photo ops with the Hollywood sign! It is a small park, but glad that it is well kept. A nice close view of the Hollywood sign, with almost no hike. Street parking (inclined) in front of this park is mostly available, but we might have to park downhill during rush hours. The road leading to this park is also beautiful to drive through, with curved roads and foliage, and mostly light traffic.

If you are really fan of HOLLYWOOD sign you should visit Lake Hollywood park. It's good views of Hollywood sign from this park. Park have kids play area and few picnic tables. Lots of people coming and leaving in an hour or two so parking can be found at road side easily. We walk out of park and follow ramp to go little up to have best views of Hollywood and it was good. We were able to see good Lake view. You can add visit to Travel Town, it's near by if going by car and good fun place for kids.

Great place to take pictures and make memories. They have a small playground for the kids to have fun. I suggest you walk towards the Hollywood sign for additional views of the city πŸ™ and Hollywood sign. And keep in mind there’s NO restroom 🚻 🚽

Beautiful park with great views of the Hollywood sign and the Hollywood hills. It was not too busy and the parking was easy and free. Fun little playground area for the kids to enjoy. It also has a large grassy area to throw the football, race your friends, fly a kite, have a picnic, play air guitar, or whatever else you do in large open areas. It was definitely worth the drive up the hill. Get out and enjoy the perfect weather Hollywood has to offer.

Excellent spot to take your Hollywood Sign pictures. Took my dog and he played with other dogs there. They have mutt mitts and a working dog water fountain. My boys took goofy pictures in front of the sign. I recommend this place for your sign insta pix.

Great place to view the Hollywood sign and sit out and relax. There is currently construction on the road leading up there, however there are multiple ways there so if one is blocked off just turn up the next road. Also PRO TIP: Do not park facing the opposite way of the flow of traffic. Normally this isn't an issue anywhere else BUT parking maids are driving specifically through there every 10 minutes or so because they are aware that tourists are UNAWARE of this and they are making their payday there. So if you don't want a 63 dollar parking ticket please keep this in mind. Also try to go earlier in the day, less crowds, put down a mat and eat some fruit. Great place to just wind down.

One of the most iconic signs in tha actual days. This park gives you incredible spots for pictures with The Hollywood sign up in the hill. Parking space is a little complicated during weekends, but you can definitely find a spot. Enjoy your visit.

It is a great place to view the Hollywood Sign. It also offers nice vista views overlooking the city. It is a little difficult to reach, requiring a drive through narrow winding neighborhood streets. The cool homes in the neighborhoods add to the site seeing fun of the trip.

The Lake Hollywood Park for the Hollywood sign is an absolute must-see when visiting Los Angeles. It's an iconic symbol of the city and an essential part of the Hollywood experience. The sign is perched high up on the hills overlooking the city, and it offers incredible views of Los Angeles and the surrounding mountains. There are several ways to view the Hollywood Sign, including hiking, driving, or taking a guided tour. I highly recommend taking a hike to get up close and personal with the sign. The hike is relatively easy, and the views along the way are absolutely breathtaking. It's an unforgettable experience that you won't want to miss. Overall, the Hollywood Sign is a must-see for anyone visiting Los Angeles. It's an iconic symbol of the city, and the views from the sign are breathtaking. Whether you're a film buff or simply looking for a beautiful hike, the Hollywood Sign is a destination you won't want to miss…

Best unofficial dog park around. Even though it is not considered a dog park all the dogs around are well trained and makes it a great place to bring even small puppies. Great place to have a picnic, relax, or take picture. The park is right under the Hollywood sign. You can also get great views of the city. The park is never too busy and the people that frequent are chill/friendly.

This park has one of the best views around of The Hollywood Sign. The only downside is trying to find parking. Parking is along the side of the street and this place gets packed. We were going to go to the Innsdale trailhead from the Lake Hollywood Park but ran short on time.

A dog park? Yes. It is. Oddly, it is the best place for the Hollywood sign pictures. Really. There was 2 food stands and 1 food truck. FREE. Warning, using a GPS. Don't come from the WEST side of town. Use the EAST entrance. Read your GPS correctly. Highly Recommended.

A nice place to see the Hollywood sign on your own. If you wish to get very very close to the Hollywood sign, you may not want to go to this park. However if you want to get a good view of the sign without wasting too much time, this is a good spot. There’s no rest rooms in this park. Given there are so many people coming to this park just to see the Hollywood sign, having a rest room will help the visitors as there’s no such facility any where close.

This is THE place to take a photo with the Hollywood sign. TIP: Avoid the Mulholland Dr/Beachwood Dr (rightside access roads) and take the leftside access i.e., Barham/Lake Hollywood/Tahoe Dr access roads. The rightside roads go through neighborhoods which strictly enforce parking & traffic and have precarious narrow drives that could cause a car to go down a cliff! Accidents are easy to happen on the rightside access roads as you'll be avoiding police, lost tourists, parked cars, pedestrians, pets, trash bins etc in a very, very, narrow street. The leftside access is a normal drive.

Neat place if you want the Hollywood sign in the background of your photos. The road leading up to the park and the one leaving the park is very narrow and twisty so drive with caution.

Cool park! Loved it here but you can’t really see the Hollywood sign super well from parts of the park. Parking is free on the street and people are usually selling fruit and stuff at the entrance.

Definitely worth going to see the Hollywood sign and a view of LA. The drive up is a bit crazy with winding roads along the mountains. Worth a drive if you do not want to go to the observatory. The park allows dogs and was a nice place to sit and relax for a little.

Giving this spot 5 stars only because it is iconic. Weekends are crazy packed but since people just come to take pics, you will find a spot to park. Very touristy but wow the view tho. Everyone is out here just chilling trying to get the best pic. I think if you drive further up the mountain there is another spot where people are taking pics and that's the spot you want to go to get that epic picture. I'm just saying...

Small park with green space and a playground. You get a good view of the Hollywood sign. The only issue is that the park is pretty hard to get to, street parking only, and there is no public transit access. On the other hand, if you enjoy hiking and trail running, this area is pretty nice and you'll have some nice options here.

It's great. You can get a closer look of the Hollywood sign and take pictures from there. There's also a playground at this park. I wasn't expecting the inclined street to be packed with many cars as well as the warning sign about rattlesnakes. But, nevertheless, it's fun there at the park.

This is the place to go if you want to see the Hollywood sign but be far enough to take pictures with it in the background. We found parking really easily. Note it’s on a fairly steep hill so make sure you know how to put the parking brake on! Note this is still a residential area so be mindful of driving around the roads or being too noisy. The park can be muddy after lots of rain, not much surprise there but keep in mind if you are driving in a hire car and wish to keep it clean!

Lovely park with a cute fenced in playground. It wasn't quite what I expected, so just in case anyone else has these misapprehensions: there's no parking lot, but there seems to be plenty of street parking. I went on a holiday and had no trouble finding a spot. This isn't where the Hollywood Reservoir is. I'm still not sure if there's another park where one can walk around that. There is a fenced area around the fenced playground, and dogs are not allowed in it. I was the only adult with my three year old, so I broke that rule so I could keep an eye on my kiddo.

Let's begin with the essentials... No restrooms, pottable or anywhere near to use the restroom... Unless you're a dog. Lake Hollywood Dog Park is an open space with plush green grass surrounded by trees. There is a small kids playground that is fenced separately from the dog park. Although there is no parking lot, there is parking along side of the street. I went on a weekday with overcast so there was parking at 1000 and at 1 pm. If you look up, you can catch a great photo of the full Hollywood sign.

Amazing views of the Hollywood sign, there were lots of other people taking photos there. The drive is pretty high up the hills, but the view is worth it and it's easy to drive down. Definitely recommend this location for viewing the sign.

🌟🌟🌟🌟 (4/5) **Pros:** - Stunning view of the Hollywood Sign - Easy parking along the road - Peaceful setting **Cons:** - at least get some porta potty's up there! Lake Hollywood Park offers an unparalleled vantage point for one of the most iconic landmarks in Americaβ€”the Hollywood Sign. Situated amidst green lawns and a calm atmosphere, the park provides a perfect backdrop for photographs, picnics, or simply taking in the view. Parking was surprisingly hassle-free; spots were available along the road and I had no issues finding a place for my car. This is a major plus, considering how challenging parking can be in Los Angeles. Overall, if you're looking for a low-key, yet stunning spot to view the Hollywood Sign, Lake Hollywood Park should be on your list. It combines the grandeur of Hollywood with the serenity of nature, making it an ideal destination for both tourists and locals alike. Highly recommended.

A great little park to take out of town visitors to see the Hollywood Sign. There is street parking available near the entrance to the park but it’s recommended to go in low peak times. This park can get VERY busy in peak tourism times. Take a small walk up the hill to the bluff above for a great spot for a photo with the Hollywood Sign. Or take a longer walk around the Hollywood Reservoir to enjoy canyon views and sounds. Important note: there are NO amenities at this park! Dogs are allowed at this park, so keep this in mind when walking in the grass. We saw multiple piles of poop left by uncool pet owners. Since there are no public toilets, we keep our trip short, enjoy the view and move along.
