Went to the Science Museum first then enjoyed lunch with the family here at Exposition Park on a Saturday afternoon. There were street vendors there with great food and drinks, lots of snacks too at a good price. My kids loved it, especially when they got to go and smell all the flowers, see the bugs and squirrels roaming around. Nice place to pass the time with family or just relax in general. This place is always clean and has been the same for years, aside from the surrounding building upgrades and additions. Reminds me of coming here as a kid with my parents, and now I get to share the same experiences with my kids.

Good park, with a some museum. I recommend to visit it. You can enjoy nature and just chill near the fountain. Near fountain close to Science Center, you can find many varieties of roses, it's beautiful place. Also you can see some types of military airplanes in this area. It's good place to have a picnic and spend time with kids. Also you can visit museums, it's good time to explore many interesting things!

Exposition Park is a 160 acres (65 ha) urban park in the south region of Los Angeles, California,[1] in the Exposition Park neighborhood. Established in 1872 as an agricultural fairground, the park includes the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, the Banc of California Stadium, the California Science Center, the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, and the California African American Museum.[2] The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art is under construction. Bounded by Exposition Boulevard to the north, South Figueroa Street to the east, Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard to the south and Menlo Avenue to the west, it is directly south of the main campus of the University of Southern California.

So cool. Definitely a lot of walking but awesome for kids and adults wanting to see dinosaurs and other extinct animals. Super friendly customer service. Best part is veterans are free. So if you're a vet stop by. Worse case you pay for parking but there won't be a worse part. I liked seeing the T-Rex from kid to adult. And they have vaulted crystals which are a must see alone. Didn't take any pictures of them because you have to see it for yourself.

The main park itself consists of a large rose garden with several areas to picnic along with several gazebos. If you are visiting the museum, it is worth taking a walk through the gardens as they are well kept. The greater park area encompasses the science center and natural history museum, science center, african art musem, and the LA coliseum. Plan on spending a full day here exploring, learning, and having fun.

Gonna miss first Friday's but the NHMLA is a great place to visit and the exhibits are still some of the best Los Angeles has to offer. Along with the California Science Center and African History Museum and Rose Gardens 🌹 ✨️ this is the best place for first dates and just a beautiful day. Go visit the Natural History Museum Los Angeles and enjoy the butterfly pavilion or the reptiles in the Nature Garden or even the Birds sanctuary. You'll love and enjoy with family or friends there's something fun and exciting for everyone also very educational experience.

Beautiful maintained park just adjacent to the Metro rail station. Around 20000 rose varieties are said to be grown in the park. Though I couldn't figure out that many thousands of varieties, I can say for sure there are hundreds of rose varieties 😀 Free entry. Worth to visit combining with Science Centre.

It is an amazing place! Especially if you have kids! They will definitely like it because of dinosaurs, animals expositions and some of American history! The museum is huge! There is a parking but it isn't free. Restrooms are inside.

So so so much more going on than you initially think when you walk in! They've got the really good taxadermized showcases! Then you get to the fossils and there's just so many and it's so well put together. On all the placards too they display which of the bones are real and which are replica. I loved the human skeletons and ancient pieces we'd uncovered from them as well. Just amazingly put together and really enjoyed all of it. There was an amazing rock and gemstone collection which of course I loved! Of The nearly 200 pictures I took here 80 of them were of rocks and gemstones lol!

Beautiful park right next to the retired NASA Endeavour Space Shuttle at the California Science Center in Los Angeles, the Natural History Museum and the LA Coliseum. The Science Center is currently preparing the Endeavour for a vertical position. The final resting place will be standing straight up with a pair of solid rocket boosters and an external tank like it was last seen on the launch pad. This new 20-story-tall display will be the highlight inside the new Samuel Oschin Air and Space Center, which is under construction adjacent to the main science center building in L.A.'s Exposition Park as seen in the pictures. Can't wait to come back when it's completed!

Today after we got covid vaccination oh, we decided to come to the Museum of Natural History at Exposition Park here in the downtown LA area! :-) the museum is under very good covid protocols in effect. The dinosaur Hall and mineral Hall are outstanding! Plenty to see and read about just in these two halls alone and there are other Halls as well! Highly recommended to visit! :-)

Coolest experience out here. Not only could children have fun and learn something new, but also adults could recall classic amazing moments about space mission and real spaceship here. Rose Garden in the front of CA Science Center and Nature History Museum is huge and breeds variety of rose species, so astonishing. If you wanna rest under sunshine, here is wonderful spot to enjoy with friends. First, lots of aircrafts outside and inside to get know more about their details and history. On 2nd floor, many space capsules exhibited, including Apollo-Soyuz and Gemini 11. You could scrutinize and imagine how their mission went and what they've experienced, so thrilling. Besides, space equipment, satellites, telescopes, even Viking lander and an used space suit displayed around that area. Some cool facilities let you experience how astronauts flied spacecrafts. On the other corner, bunch of photos show the day when Endeavour arrived this science center. On the same floor, you could explore ecosystem and DNA exhibitions, they are all interesting and explain complex concept with easy way. In the building next to it, the real ENDEAVOUR is out right there!! Too large to fit in just one image and so many details. You could see serial number on every component and scratches on outer coverings. Several billboards around to let you learn more about this gigantic shuttle. Outside of this building showed the lightweight tank. This is not a site that you could finish up visiting all the stuff in just one day. Highly recommended everybody to pay a visit, especially families. Totally worth it.

Is a great place to have some pictures, you will see a long field full of roses with so many colors, in the center a big water fountain and on the side a small kiosk! Is located next to the LA museum. Is a pretty nice park to visit.

This review is to remove the Google maps nag screen notification about this place. The park is closed until the Los Angeles Dept. of Parks and Recreation decide that the covid rose garden is no longer a significant enough threat to warrant indefinite closure. If you're a tourist, don't bother stopping by. The museums and science center are also closed. Now will you finally naff off, Google!?

The Endeavor exhibit is a once in a lifetime experience. How often do you get to see a real life space ship! The IMAX movies are good too, but pretty forgettable. The rest of the exhibits are interesting; make for a fun way to spend the day.

Easy access. Plenty of Parking (install more booths to pay for parking or use a smart app to move things along.) Besides that, there’s plenty to do here. Museums, gardens, vendors. You could easily spend your entire day here getting amazed.

I'm only rating this 4 stars because the traffic in the area!!! The rose garden was so beautiful but navigating the streets to get there if you're not a local well yea it's tough!! Luckily my husband was my second pair of eyes and helped so much getting through the one way streets! Anyways the actual park and rose garden was just gorgeous!!

My children had a blast exploring throughout the day. Most schools bring the children on field trips during the week, so it's more busy and hectic during the week. We visited on a Saturday afternoon, not as busy. Parking fee is $15.00. I would definitely recommend bringing your own lunch or snacks specially for the kids.

Banc of California stadium 🏟 . Get there a few hours early for parking. Very nice parking attendants, helpful. One or two security guards were jerks a few very helpful. Plenty of food stands. Good game from good view seats. Traffic of course. Just leave with enough time.

Best park ever! It is well-maintained and very beautiful. Extremely huge! You cannot see everything in one day. The layout can get kind of confusing so look at a map beforehand. There are various activities for everyone from museums to outdoor activities. I enjoyed looking at the pretty gardens too. Check this place out for a nice breath of fresh air.

Excellent placer to bring the kids. The California Science Center is free and seeing the Space Shuttle is only $3. Exposition Park is a gem from my youth. I spent a wonderful few hours here. Spent a day at Exposition Park, starting with the rose garden and finishing with the Space Shuttle Endeavour. Well worth the visit. A number of school groups visited the science exhibits when we were there, which we also found interesting. The Endeavour exhibit was captivating.

There's so much stuff, a space shuttle, animals and much more. It's not very crowded on weekdays but it is still a great place to go. You can learn about sea/land animals, or learn about the space shuttle's design. You gotta see for yourself

Exposition Park is a quintessential LA landmark! People flock here to experience the LA lifestyle. It's a place to chill out, admire the vista, and people watch it you may. Why not grab some brews, sandwiches, chips, and invite your friends to meet you at the park? If you can take public transportation or take a lyft, I say do it. Parking around the neighborhood is a challenge and will require you to make a good number of rounds up and down the hills until you find the coveted spot.
