I wouldn't normally write a review about a park, but parks are something I like to look up before going to, so I thought I'd give back. This has an accessible playground with sepearate big kid and toddler areas. There are lots of really cool features here, like rock climbing and drums. There is sand, which I'm not a huge fan of, but I've never seen anything in it. There's a full basketball court and lots of grass area also. It's never really dirty and doesn't usually have unhoused people there (I'm there almost weekly). There's often an ice cream truck parked nearby. There are also bathrooms, but I wouldn't call them clean by any standard. It's really a great park though.

Highlights: - Seperate big kid/little kid play structures - Interesting play structures - Full back plastic swings (for kids with different needs) - Basketball courts Cons: - Bathrooms on site but they don't have locks!! (and have been pretty dirty when I've gone, even during the week) This playground is great and my 6 year old loves it. There are usually other kids here too, so it's fun to make friends.

A quiet park nestled in the Jefferson Park Community and blocks away from the peace awareness labyrinth and gardens. The park itself offers itself a meditative and spiritual cleanse through the peace and quiet of nature , with the cool breeze and shade of the trees which surround this beautiful park. You might see your occasional walker, dog walker, or regular citizen enjoying the relaxation of the environment. Definitely glad this tucked away, perfect size park was discovered. And a guaranteed frequent visit location for all who discover it as well.

It was nice and clean. My son played in the sand with his socks off. Which is a big deal for me cause there glass and other things in parks. Not this one. There were two party’s going on and they shared.

I maintain the Santa Monica freeway when close by I have make a stop for restroom, the park has so much change compared about 11 years ago before the city remodeling, it's awesome now but one thing, at "stop all way" sign not much Angelinos driver are really make a complete full stop, they just slow down then keep going, my thought why the city of Los Angeles transportation dept. don't install the "YIELD" sign there? Rather than "STOP ALL WAY"!

For being a park it's okay it's kind of dirty when you get off your car you smell pee.The kids area is nice lot of shade could use a good raking. Bathrooms do work but they could use a good scrubbing. Homeless people do show up there. And use the bathrooms, bit they don't clean up after them selves. It's nice and green every where. But lots of little junk in the grass.

Would have given it a better rating, but my son and I went specifically to play basketball and to our surprise there were no courts up. I don't understand why. If everything else is open at the park, why not put the courts back up. We were disappointed to say the least. And out of the hundred people there only about 7 of us had on a mask. Luckily some lovely neighbor rolled there home court to the park, so we were able to get a little time in.

This park in used to be a hood park. Now you can see post up with out being bothered. Street parking only. Seven side streets. Plenty of trash cans. No real bathroom.

Not suitable for baby or toddler or any child the matter. Sand in the play area was dirty with debris, trash on the ground including whole to-go box food perhaps dropped and left behind, adult party in the rear of park drinking alcohol (not knocking the party but inappropriate with the playground being about 50ft away) and kids playing. I sat down for about 2 minutes holding my toddler grand suga observing to see if I could get past the filth and at least let her swing when I looked at the restroom building that had a big red gang graffiti on it and that was my oh-hell-no time to go moment.

Dirty and trashy, smells like pee. Can't even sit on the bench because of how dirty it is. Disgusting never going back. Can't believe the city can't keep up with it's recreational responsibilities smh

Beautiful slightly secluded park. Spacious tables & cool playground. Has bathrooms. Only downside is that there seems to be a bit of d*ug dealing going on but besides that. It's still lovely.
