This recreation park has a little bit of everything, notably eight tennis courts! Besides that there is a baseball field, basketball courts, a playground, a sit and chill area, and a community center. All compactly placed in one and half city block. The park looks relatively clean, but there are problems too. The restrooms at the community center were locked when I was there on a weekend morning. There was also a tent and a homeless person roaming near the playground.

I used to go there a lot when I lived close by. People played tennis at 6am. Some where exercising on the equipment. It's a large park with soccer field and tennis courts.

We used to play with our dogs here all the time. Now the baseball field is blocked off and there's no room to play. I saw a new outdoor workout area though. Very small space.

Great park for gainz. Calisthenics is the best excercise for your body. Full body workout. And the park is beautiful. Brand new water fountain with a bottle adapted section. Great place to run as well.

Cool spot to chill. This is a full service park. It's funny but a part of the park has a sign posted saying dogs must be on a leash and not one dog was on one. Make your own rules, I guess. Go.

It's a great park, well kept, with a playground for kids, basketball courts, tennis courts, shaded park benches, baseball field and it is on-leash dog friendly.

It’s no picnic area but if you’re here to play a specific sport for a couple of hours and leave, it’s good. Tennis courts are well lit and open till 10p It can get noisy if you’re planning for a quiet setup when basketball and baseball are both going on at same time. There are homeless people hanging around and camped sporadically but not too bad. Parking during peak times is painful to find.

I followed the address to get a covid test and discovered this cool little park in the middle of Hollywood! 4-star rating is only because I didn't really have the time to hang out and explore, but it sure seemed like a sweet, peaceful outdoors space to connect with nature without needing to drive or walk too long❣️🌴🐿️🌳

Poinsettia Park in West Hollywood is a cool, chill spot where there's something for everyone. It has lots of space and a bunch of activities to do. If you're into sports, there are tennis and basketball courts and baseball fields. There's also a walking track if you're up for a jog or a leisurely stroll, with various gym equipment spaces around the track. There's a playground that's decked out to keep kids active and entertained. The park also has picnic spots all over, if you want to pack a lunch and make a day of it. It's a great place to meet up with friends, hang out, or get in on the community events that go on. Poinsettia Park also has a community center buzzing with classes and other events. It's a place where everyone's welcome, no matter their age or interests. Even though the park can get pretty busy, there's still a calm vibe about it. You'll see people just kicking back on the grass, reading, or enjoying the sun. Parking can be a pain sometimes, but that's a small price to pay for all the things this park offers. All in all, if you're in WeHo, you should check out Poinsettia Park.

Very social place to meet others with four legged pets. My baby bronson had made new friends and ran his heart out. Great exercise for him and all pets well behaved and controlled.

A beautiful park to play adult team sports. 🏀⚾⚽🏈 The weekends are filled with youth sports leagues and watching dedicated pro tennis hopefuls swing for the gold! 🎾

2/13/24 Update: The sidewalks remain cleared of encampments. It's such a great park, it deserves to be better cared for. 1/23/24 I'm informed the fencing was extended and the new tents have been removed. 1/16/24 Tents are returning unfortunately. Right next to where the fencing that was put up ends. This is what a mess our city Hollywood has become. We're told we need more housing but we also need something in between - empty spaces to use for "rough camping" where we can provide services such as sanitation, mental health, housing and more. We can't continue to live like this, encampments are ruining our neighborhoods and our businesses and our quality of life. 1/11/24 Encampments have been cleared, using the mayors Inside Safe program. And the sidewalk fenced off to prevent them from returning. Of course those who don't participate with mayors program unfortunately will simply move to another sidewalk in Hollywood. 12/26 Neighbors and park users have united to get their council member involved to resolve this encampment issue. But other than occasional cleanups nothing's being done here to house the homeless - if anyone them are interested. Unfortunate how the nearby encampments are ruining our parks. It's as if no one cares about the safety of our neighbors & local businesses.

They finally reopened the gym for early runs Monday and Wednesday mornings from 9 am to 12 pm. Hopefully more people show up to the runs on Monday. Wednesdays get pretty good runs. Great gym for a quick morning hoop session before work

The best park around. It's fun for a run after sunset. Safe atmosphere.

Love taking my dogs here. Friendly off leash open space where doggies can run free and have fun while the humans can chat and exchange stories about their furry kids :)

Nice quaint, yet active community park. Tennis courts, baseball diamond, indoor/outdoor basketball courts, handball and more!

I've played here for years. Lots of Russians, jocks, and pretty girls. Plenty players of varying skill levels for pick-up games. Watch out for the hypes and rough trade near the head.

Far too many dogs off leash. Staff is rude unless you have paid for a program. Bathrooms are disgusting.

Clean and not too crowded in the play area for kids, no transients in that area

Pretty decent basketball courts and the lights at night are a huge win. Wish the city would clean up a bit more.

Great park for just about any park activity. Could us a little TLC around the grounds but over all great park.

Great park - have played kickball here during the day. The exercise circuit equipment is well-maintained. Nothing too fancy about the park but it serves its purpose and is open, and well-lit and safe. At night it's like a free, public, outdoor bathhouse lol!

Great place to take your dog to socialize. Weekdays, after work, most pet owners bring their fur babies and allow them to run around, off leash. All the dogs here have great temperments and their parents are just as social. This is a friendly place in a great neighborhood. Our dog loves it as much as we do.

Very safe place to jog and exercise. There are stations to work out, basketball and tennis courts. Usually a lot of people around walking the jogging track and playing with there dogs in the park.

Nice park but too many people. Small pup was to scares to explore. Will return under the moon.

BUILD A DOGPARK. The park is good, but they seriously need to partition a fenced dog park area. There are almost more dog owners who use the park than people who use it for other things.
