What an amazing place. I specifically went to see the final resting place of Leonard Nimoy. The girl at the front gate was very courteous and gave us a map. There were 2 services going on and I didn't want to intrude, she assured us it was ok to go in. I made sure we weren't disturbing any of them attending. I have to say this place was an awesome site. I saw a few mausoleums that I wasn't expecting for sure. Its so peaceful here and so well kept. Just amazing. I really felt very calm being here. I hope someday to return.

I went to my Auntie's funeral at Hillside Memorial. Generally they put on a good service there. However, we had a viewing of my Auntie and she was not made up, no lipstick, they didn't do her hair and her hands were so black and blue with a viewing for the immediate family you think they could have made her hands as well. Not too impressive. My Auntie was a beautiful woman and they did nothing to exude upon that. Very disappointed. Nancy w.

For several years, I have been working with Advisor "Becky". She is a kind soul with a compassionate ear. When making emotional decisions. She has ALWAYS guided me and will continue to be there for me. Whenever I need her.

a friend wanted to visit celebrity graves at Hillside Park; i went along for the outing and to visit family graves. it was not a 'time of need' occasion. from the moment we entered the admin office, staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. the ladies at the desk provided us with maps and marked them in great detail for both our purposes. we were told that any outdoor staff would be happy to direct us in our searches. so accurate! one groundsman actually took us on a tour to point out 7 or 8 markers at one mausoleum; another gave my friend (we're elderly) a ride in his golf cart uphill to her car; and, two searched an area to help me find my family. it was my first 'social' visit to a cemetery and it was an unexpectedly touching day enhanced by the remarkable staff.thank you!

It is located right near the 405 in Culver City. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The grounds of the cemetery are beautiful and impeccable kept. There are many celebrities buried on the grounds and locations and further information can be found on the cemetery's website.

My brother died 27 years ago and my dad 55 years ago,I go there once a year and always call in advance to have grave stones polished and grass cleaned around plot. I've been doing this now over 26 years and hillside always take care of my needs. I'll give them a 10 . Thank you, Hillside

Terrific cemetery, ample area and very clean, the residence is extremely well maintained, it even has a pond in the front main entrance, there's always a security guard present at all times at the front gate,.. this particular cemetery has a distinctive rich feel to it, and on a perfect sunny day you can feel at peace when visiting a love one. There are garbage cans all over the place hidden inside what appears to be long like exterior it makes the cemetery look very modern. Also plenty of waterspouts everywhere so you can put fresh flowers with water being supplied by the cemetery when visiting here.

Attended a funeral service of a friend. The staff are professional, caring and took care of the bereaved family and their guests. The service went well smoothly. This place is well maintained, grass is green and it is clean everyehere. There is a cascading man made waterfall that greets you in the right hand side when you enter the memorial park.

The staff at Hillside are forever consistently helpful . From Raphael Ochoa - Nina & Micah (the Sunday ladies) . I am grateful for the consistent helpful attitude , the ease of handling each situation with finesse and Grace. The grounds are always neat and Beautiful. My family feels at ease and secure that our loved ones are always shown dignity and respect in life and after death. Highly recommended…. Also sending a big nod of approval to Kayla Johnson who oversaw the the construction and placement of the memorial marker. Her attention to detail and communication is extraordinary and she deserves recommendation as well.

Spent the afternoon last week @ Hillside visiting, picnic with mom & dad. The staff couldn’t have been nicer. Dad, Ukrainian-Colombian Studio exec, purchased side x side plots in the 50’s. One for himself & mom, Canadian, non Jew, NY showgirl, actress. There were no wringing hands from papi’s ancestors. All are welcome. That Hillside had Inter-Faith as inclusion clause in the 1950’s blows me away. @ that time, people of color, Jews, were prevented from buying real estate, joining country clubs. Thank you for that. I love that incredibly creative Black architect designed fountains & mausoleum. I know parents are engaging with tons of their friends resting forever here. I imagine nightly sunset “happy hours” socializing over craft cocktails. Just as they did in my life. I designed mom’s headstone during pandemic 2020. Gracias, Emily Bryan@Hillside. I wished to convey sentiments mom wants. The finished product is remarkable. Mom is thrilled. When I visit mom & dad now, it is festive. (I consulted Chabad re: respect years after parents internments) Rebbes proclaimed I’m within my rights to signify anyway I want.) I blasted Sunset Slope with Kool & the Gang’s “Celebration” song on my iPhone. Really loud. I woke up a handful of slumbering eternal neighbors. I danced. I’d like to think the neighbors were pleasantly surprised. For sure, parents liked picnic, song, their only child pulling wicked moves. Thank you, Rafael O. & Hillside crew for letting me do my thing.

Very nice place with very nice people. Usually wouldn't think to rate a memorial park but everything was so professional and polite.
