Cute little neighborhood park. Perfect place to take your dog on a light stroll or access the beach from. Came across so many cute doggies at the park . Palm trees around the park were so picturesque. There's an old baseball diamond/field here but I'm not sure if it's used for baseball anymore. Ample street parking available . Make sure to read the parking signs posted.

Very nice place to come and get away for an afternoon theres plenty of walking space and the scenery is beautiful especially on the rocky walk by the breaker, plenty to do on the beach and also some good fishing off of the rocky path. Definitely a nice place to being the family however the only downside is parking be ready to circle around multiple times to find a spot.

A nice neighborhood park for locals, with a moderate tolerance for an influx of visitors, though can be overwhelmingly crowded on weekends and holidays. There’s a playground, picnic areas, ballfields and ball courts available to the public! The big draw here for many is the beach access. Perhaps then the free parking is the greatest attraction! Public restrooms, maintenance and law enforcement are provided by the City of Los Angeles. When summer temperatures rise and inland residents flock to the cooler beach areas, congestion and parking here will be a problem, so be prepared accordingly. Swimming isn’t permitted in the lagoon, tho there’s the the oceanfront of Playa Del Rey, just steps away!

It was very beautiful. Has a pirate ship a little jeep in the corner plenty of slides and tons of things to learn how to climb the best part is at the beach is right across the street. I definitely found a gem. There are restrooms there but I don’t know if they are working because we didn’t use it.

This lagoon is about An acre in size and when the tide is going out or it is low tide a gate is open on the northern end of the lagoon. This allows the water in the lagoon to go out with the tide. When the tide coming in the sea water then fills up the lagoon.

The bike path through this area is fun to ride. It offers varying elevations, great straight aways and plenty of space for walkers and riders to share! The views day and night are spectacular.

This is a local park for me. There is a great kids area with lots of playground fixtures. The local little league field is here as well as a basketball court. Of course the birds love the lagoon. In the evenings there are great reflections of the palm trees on the water.

Lovely and scenic area. Beautiful little playground that’s great for the kids. Amazing places to host small parties or picnics with the family. Just a small warning that homelessness is seen around the bathrooms with some trash getting built up.

Beautiful scenery! There’s a playground, picnic area and ducks. It’s right next to the beach and the bike path so it’s perfect for a picnic without getting Sandy but still enjoying the beach. When I went I got takeout food from a local restaurant, this served as a great picnic spot. There is sun and shade making it fit to whatever temperature you desire. It wasn’t too crowded and there are benches to sit at. The playground is nice to play in if you wish to be a child again and there’s is a baseball field perfect for any sport. If you get bored of staying here at the lagoon you can always walk to the beach, it’s a very short walk! I biked here and it was very simple and easy but parking also surrounds this so it’s driving accessible as well. Have fun with your experience at the pond!

Like many other recreation parks, Del Rey Lagoon Park has a baseball field and a playground but it also has a small, beautiful lake, all of these steps away from the beach and Pacific Ocean. On the Sunday morning when I visited the park, the baseball field was crowded with junior teams playing, while the lakefront looked rather chill and relaxing,

So peaceful here! Came to do some early morning yoga, I haven't been to this part of the beach in years because they closed the main road to it for construction as well as one of the parking lots so parking can be gnarly but not at 6 am! It was super quiet and only a few cyclists and runners out, I definitely enjoyed my time!

Great park, one of my favorite places to take my son. There's the beach close by and lots to do. It's great for picnics, It's dog friendly, I can't recall seeing a washroom, though.

Full court basketball and a half court as well right by the ocean which is pretty cool , rims are a little short but no big deal because they all have good nets which is awesome

Del Rey Lagoon went from being an exciting place full of adventure and great stories and became the boy your mom would like you to marry. It's not bad but I feel bad about complaining about the hipsters because they all disappeared from the neighborhood and now all the people are pretty bland. Change is constant but this is where so much punk rock and skateboarding happened. Now it's very sanitary. If you have an uncool but nice cousin from socal who thinks Coachella is the bestest this is a friendly place they'd like because there are no homeless people with tattoos or crazy people who will change they world

This park is incredibly beautiful and serene. It's probably one of the best views of the city, and what better way to see it but on a grassy hill with your friends, eating a picnic, drinking some vino (because no one cares about open container laws on this hill)? Also, be sure to chat up Abdulah; he's got a lot to say.

Del Rey Lagoon is a must visit when you go to Los Angeles,CA. It has an unbeatable view of the city and when the weather is perfect it's almost euphoric. Great place to have a picnic, throw an event or just relax. Always packed here though and the one downside to this park is that parking is very hard to find at times. A lot of alcohol and drug use here as well so be weary of bringing children.

Has potential to be a nice place. Went there early morning on a Sunday, it was a mess. Beer bottles and cases everywhere, trash, old food. The lagoon was mostly a patch of mud and moss. With some cleaning it could be a nice place.
