Albert Kim helped me purchase four plots. He wasn’t pushy at all. When I requested him to contact me when the new section of Bright Eternity opened up (near my parents’ plot), he made sure to let me know as soon as they became available. I also love this memorial park. Only thing though, is it’s not well maintained. My dads area (older part of bright eternity) has weeds all over. And this past Father’s Day (6/2021), the entire area was completely flooded and every tablet was submerged in water. Needless to say, we were there barely standing and getting our shoes wet, for maybe 10 min. Couldn’t sit and spend some time with dad. 😞 For all that they charge up front on maintenance fee (15% of the actual cost of plot which is not cheap at all), they should maintain the park much better and keep them at much higher quality. Famous people like Paul Walker are buried here. They should keep up with the work and make us, those that visit celebrities and loved ones, feel proud that their people are resting at a nicely kept place. I don’t want this place to become like Rose Hills (in my opinion much lower grade memorial park). I’m giving 5-stars just to keep this place “popular” and seemingly “high quality” but in reality, I’d give 3-stars for all that money we had to fork out.

Might seem odd to take out of town family to a cemetary. However, Forest Lawn is unlike others. There are amazing mosaic tile murals showing events like Washington crossing the Delaware. Grounds and gardens are beautiful. Do a little research and see the many stars buried here. If you wish, visit their burial site and pay your respects.

Last month I’ve purchased an interment space at Hollywood Hills location. The property consultant, VARTOOHIE BABROODI was the person who helped me. She was extremely knowledgeable, professional and informative. I couldn’t help not noticing the genuine love, compassion and the patience she had to provide the best for my needs. I certainly would refer her to everyone with confidence.

Maintenance there is poor as you can see there’s no grass around the graves at least where my mother is buried, the maintenance guy drives the tractor over the graves and mess all flowers that we bring to our love ones, I usually bring my own grass cutter to do the maintenance my self but it has been 2 weeks that I couldn’t go due to the rain and what a surprise I founded this mess, I did my best to wash my mom’s grave with water it’s very sad that they don’t care and respect our memories and dead people 😭

Almost seems like an oxymoron to say but this is an absolutely gorgeous cemetery. They upkeep the property regularly and it makes visiting your loved ones a happy experience rather than a gloomy one. It is hard to find your way but if you have an iPhone I’d drop a pin and save the location.

Both my parents are buried here. It is a beautifully serene place to be. The maintenance is of the highest quality. I visit as often as I can. My visits always bring me peace and reflection.

I wish to share how happy I am with the help I received from Rosie and Aubrey in the front office. A family friend and neighbor had been buried at forest lawn in 2003. One of his kids who lives in another State went to visit the grave. The memorial plaque with his name was gone. Other family members said that his plaque was installed and paid for. The plaque was gone. I went into the front office. Rosie and Aubrey helped my right away. They looked up the name and it was in their record and shown as installed. They sent a crew member right away to make sure I was in the correct space. I went to the gravesite and the grounds crew member was at the site. John’s plaque had been covered by grass. WOW! All the other plaques were in excellent condition. John’s plaque is not in back in excellent condition and the family is happy and talking again. Thank you to Rise and Aubrey for being so understanding and helpful.

For years now, I have been displeased with the upkeep of my mom’s plot. Part of what we paid for was general maintenance. I haven’t complained until now. I was at the cemetery less than 2 months ago and cleaned up the area at that time. The state of her plot is unacceptable. It is completely covered with growth. I couldn’t even find it for awhile. Since it has been less than two months since I have been there, it is clear it isn’t being maintained. In addition, when my dad passed away, I learned they didn’t even get my mom’s name right in their database. I hadn’t needed to look it up and was shocked they couldn’t even get her name right. Disrespectful

I went here on November 9, 2023, to visit the grave of Matthew Perry, the recently deceased sitcom actor. He is near the crypt of Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds. His crypt is unmarked, as his interrment was only about a week prior. I found it through a YouTube video. I'm always impressed with the upkeep of this cemetery, and many of my favorite actors and musicians are resting eternally here. It was also quite easy to find actor Bill Paxton's grave via Google Maps. A few surprises like seeing the graves of Laker greats Elgin Baylor and Jerry Buss on the path was nice. Every one should stop by and have a peaceful stroll.

Sadly we had to have the service for a loved one that passed away. The chapel was clean and the staff was compassionate. Of course because of the location you do pay more. Take that into consideration if you are looking into this location. There were graves of a WW2 vets ,and of celebrities.

The professionalism and kindness of the staff we came in contact with helped our family through a difficult time. We never felt pressured or rushed. This is our second burial here, the first was 17 years ago. It’s comforting to know that the exceptional service remains the same. Thank you from The Cervantes Family

As of right now, I am on the fence about their service and want to see how they will handle my father's graveside service this upcoming Friday. Long story short, I had done pre-planning funeral arrangements since November. My planning advisor, Lyala, was very kind and wonderful. However, now that I am in need of service, I have felt like there is a lack of communication regarding what my father service will look like in terms of setup, timing, transportation, etc. I was told that I would be receiving a call two days prior to finalize payment. However, I feel like 2 days to discuss what the process will look like is too rushed. Also, I missed the name of the lady helping me at the cashier, but she is the same woman who had assisted me with planning for flowers. This woman needs better customer service. How rude that she just slammed the door on me after paying my bill without asking if I have further questions, which I did. When I first met her she was so uninterested in explaining the different flower packages, it was like pulling teeth with this woman. Also I would have appreciated if their had been better communication from Holly who I believed would be the one explaining to me in depth the service procedure. I wasn't even asked if I wanted my guest to meet in the entrance until I had to walk in myself and get further clarification. Overall, for the amount you pay at Forest Lawn I would think their customer service would be much better, attentive, communicative, benevolent, and sympathetic.

I was very happy with the transaction I had with Forest Lawn recently. It can be very difficult in making "final" arrangements for a loved one. Ms. Kim was extremely profession and explained everything in a thorough, yet compassionate way. I would recommend them to anyone who is considering funeral and mortuary services.

Arranging for your death is something most people don't want to deal with, but working with my Forest Lawn Agent made it easy. It gives me peace of mind that this is done so it's one less thing my loved ones have to deal with when I'm gone.

Place flowers for my Grandparent's, when in town. So much history. Clean and quiet. Generations of "Hollywood" Stars, laid to rest. We always pay our respects to as many as we can....

After almost 2 years of being unable to visit my husband, who has been here for 22 years, my surprise and disappointment upon entering the main gate was heartbreaking. The condition of the park is disgraceful. After spending more than an hour uncovering his plaque, I saw that my place of peace and comfort has been seriously neglected. Dead flowers, old decorations, overflowing trash cans and mud puddles everywhere. The beautiful, rolling hills mostly brown and bare. The plaques broken and sunken, pushed into the mud by tractors running over them. This is not what I - nor any other family - expected from such a reputable company. I travelled from Europe to sit in peace with my husband and you have deprived me of that. I hope this message will serve as a wakeup call to your management - someone needs to be held accountable.

Happy both my Mom and Dad are at rest in such a pretty area as this is, and near where much of their lives were spent. But here’s the rub: They had owned their plots for decades (which to my mind even made them longtime customers), so was a little put off when during our appt. with FL Hollywood to make final plans, Mom’s graveside minutes (we held the longer memorial service at her church before arriving graveside) weren’t going to be convenient for a chapel service further up the hill the following hour. What? And can’t we all share these acres and acres? I didn’t like that. Including that our location was not truly on top of said chapel anyway. Additionally it felt strangely class related — or something weird — which shouldn’t be felt. To say nothing of in this business you can’t really time the need for plots to a large degree, eh? FL, problem solve on how better to accommodate all at such at time and when truly able. But, well, we could and so did accommodate being there by a certain time and finished by a certain time, though the push was annoying. What is making me write now months later, is this yuck memory that hasn’t gone away. Before half of us had left our chairs, and while some of us were by our cars, a tractor comes charging up and starts throwing the dirt over Mom’s you know what. That had Not been told to us would happen and was super sad. I know in our mtg we mentioned our decision to not be around for that part (does anybody want to be?!) and so this doubly felt insensitive, thoughtless, and demanding. FL Hollywood has only several chances to make an impression (again, such is the business they are in), and unfortunately we were soured. So customers, make sure you have arranged details like this ahead as you wish. We felt oddly pushed around, poorly treated in the matter, and additionally grieved. (Ending on a good note, a woman whose name I sadly do not remember, could not have been kinder or more professional when my sister and I needed to stop by with some clothes for Mom.)

My mom and I went to Forest Lawn to plan our future funerals. Sandra Zaldana was our planning advisor and she is absolutely great! She has a warm, caring presence and made us feel comfortable and at ease. She is very patient, kind, and empathetic. We never felt rushed to make decisions. All our questions were answered and she explained everything clearly. I really enjoyed speaking with her and felt we were taken good care of through the entire process. 😊

Thank you very much for the attention, understanding, and compassion the staff at Forest Lawn has given to us. A big shout out to Ms Rosie for your constant checking on how we were doing. And everytime I went into the office, she never failed to give me a hug — that I needed the most as I was planning everything. My mom’s viewing and transport to the the airport went as seamless as possible. I will never forget the humanity and dignity this place has shown to me mother. God Bless you all!

The sales agent, Minas, was very pleasant to deal with. However, he gave me incorrect information regarding the owner’s payment policy. I purchased three lots valued at $60,375. It was Saturday. I decided to pay 50% down. I was required to pay it by Monday at the latest. I asked for a 24 hour extension to decide how to finance the 50%. My request was denied. Forest Lawn rushes the buyer to consummate the transaction right away. A couple of days’ grace period would be most helpful. I liked their policy of zero % interest on financing the balance due with a 50% down payment. The property is well maintained.

I wasn't familiar with the layout of these beautiful grounds ,and Joseph led the way, from the time I pulled in he gave me the route to get to the location of my beautiful Godmom!! it was my 1st time visiting her, and I wasn't sure about her exact location, and then Joseph appeared again , and he didn't just point me in the direction, he walked me and my Daddio over to her exact location!!On my Godmom's 1 year passing anniversary (June 16, 2023), a day that was full of emotion and sentiment, Joseph guided us , Thank you Joseph

I was recently here for a funeral. The grounds were kept nicely manicured, the surrounding areas were clean and free of garbage or debris. The chapel was clean well lit and a good place to hold the final service. All in all it is a nice place for final resting.

Our agent Mr. Samuel Shin did very well. He was very nice & pleasant. He explained everything thoroughly to me & to my husband. However we found that your prices are very high compared to church cemeteries but my husband prefers for us to be buried at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills.

Terrible service regarding a simple Tablet (chosen from their canned tablets) for a deceased, after four months I was told that the Tablet needed to be approved, six months later no contact an no approval file was sent to us... now 10 months later and after many calls, (left hanging several times) we still not sure when the tablet will be done and installed... Every time I call the agent that processed the funeral service I get his voice mail and is full and when I leave a message with the front desk, never do i get a returned call... I have asked to talk to a manager a supervisor or CEO.. and have yet to talk to any of them. I must say that the funeral staff was great and very professional... this professionalism should be part of all their departments.

Only positive was during actual service, staff was very nice. However the rest, including the start of the process was horrendous. I was pressured to pick casket, service, all details in the same appointment, even though took me over month to get that appointment. Secondly I purchased a 2 plots and the representative told me that the interest rate was >7%, when in fact weeks later another rep told me that its zero interest for 3 years. but even if you were to ignore the above, the kicker was that the representation who told me to pick up the land deed tried to sell me a plot. Now remember my mother just passed away few months ago. think about how messed up that is. Update: In terms with your reply, you did not address that your staff mislead me, in addition your staff tried to sell me a plot as my mother passed month prior? is that appropriate? i guess its all about business and money. thank you
