Great place for a walk and to play with your dog. The weather station is a fun thing to look at. About two and a half laps around the track is about a mile.

This is a beautiful park with great views of the city! There are plenty of benches to sit on and a playground for kids to play on. There are public restrooms and they are actually okay - clean, fully stocked. BiRite Creamery ice cream shop is right down the hill from the park and is perfect to eat near or at the park. The grassy area is wide and lush. It's simply breathtaking and definitely worth it.

This park is huge, but always packed. If you don't mind friendly off leash dogs who might come say hello, then it's the perfect park for a picnic, some yoga or other workout, or to just enjoy the beauty and sunshine on your skin with your nose in a good book. Plenty of room to find a spot away from others, if preferred. If given the chance, check out South Weddington sister park; North Weddington Park not far from here.

Beautiful park near Universal studios and Fwy 101, this is the place for walking, jogging or just lay down and relax. The park is quiet, clean and green, plenty of shade for hot days. There are about 60 parking spaces and a restroom here.

The park back in the day was really nice but now the increase in homeless people have kind of taken over the park trash everywhere and people walking dogs that are not on a leash but come running up to our dog and snap at our dog and then they look at you like your the problem but other than that not a bad place to experience

It was Very clean and well maintained. Alot if care went into designing of the park because everything you need to make a day at the park more enjoyable was tight there for you to enjoy.

The homeless people sleeping all over the park and doing drugs is unsettling to say the least. Be careful jogging around the park in the morning.

I sat on a comfortable tree root and read about coding while the local womenfolk walked their dogs. My 7-11 breakfast was also superb, making for a truly enjoyable experience.

My point to convey in my review has to be the restrooms )orlackthereof( and who can forget the numerous attempted engagements from some very territorial group of people in the nights shadows. Good luck trying to get any follow through with even one of the phony interlocutors. But I give it a solid 5 for potential. The restrooms do not exist other than in portable mosquito nests.

South Weddington Park is absolutely lovely. Tucked away under the shadow of Universal Studios, down a quiet side street, one almost forgets they are just a couple hundred feet away from the buzz of busy Ventura Blvd. There seems to always be a light breeze, cooling off the hotter days, and the gorgeous (oak?) trees lining the perimeter give plenty of shade at any time of day. Dogs & kids romp away their excess energy, but I’ve never felt crowded whenever I’ve visited. There’s always space. It’s a beautiful, peaceful park, tucked away at the base of the valley.

A real nice park nestled in between Universal City / Studios and Sherman Oaks. This place was very quiet and serene. It has jogging trails and a baseball field. It also has tables but most people took to the grass to relax. This is a great place to unwind after work.

Friendly and quiet. Great place for quiet lunch or throw the ball around. There is also a dirt path along the perimeter of the park. Ideal for running laps! Also take your kids here.
