Love Dockweiler! It's usually quite peaceful during the cooler months, where the slight nip in the air is perfect for a bonfire! Bathrooms are pretty decent for public beach bathrooms, and there's a trash can by every fire pit.

Decent place to go beaching, but the water is close even in the middle of July. Parking is $8 in the lot for cars, don't know about RVs though. Street parking is free, but can only park from 6am to 10pm.

Too many cops everywhere, chasing people out at 10pm on a holiday night? Chill and go help the folks that are shooting up.

First come first serve fire pits. It creates a feeling of community to be surrounded by all the fire pits and people enjoying their lives.

Parking is $13 on weekends. The beach is directly under the LAX flight path so you'll hear jets taking off overhead periodically. They can be pretty loud, but ocean sounds will drown them out. Not the most scenic beach, but convenient.

Some wonderful childhood memories at this beach. As an adult the planes flying over are a little annoying, but as a kid I thought it was the coolest thing ever to have a plane taking off right over your head every few minutes. Gorgeous views of the ocean and great for swimming and relaxing.
