Hard to find park, but has a great playground and lots of space to run around. Playground has a really neat and well done space/rocket theme and it even has a small sand play area. Overall it is a a great size and setup for smaller kids but not a lot to do for the older ones. I'd note that a lot of the play elements are "group" activities (seesaws, the sway rocket, etc) and you really need more than one kid playing on them to use them so it's a little tough for "self play". One other thing to note is that a lot of the open space at the park is taken up by two ball diamonds but they are locked (apparently by the local little league) so you can't even run and play on them which was a big disappointment.

This park is in my top 10 of the best parks I have visited, the theme is the very nice space, the details and the structure of the place, clean and I liked that it is at the end of the park, I feel that it is safe for children.

Incredibly beautiful and clean park! It’s located in a nice quiet area. We visited from out of the State and brought our son to play to get some “energy out”. The only downside I’d say is the scribbling near the plaque of the family that donated the park. It’s sad when parents allow their children to deface something that’s meant to show and remind people of who gifted this park for the community and all to enjoy it. If anyone cleans it up, please keep it clean to remind others to maintain the cleanliness of the park. Overall it’s an amazing little park that sparks any child’s creativity and mind.

Its a very nice park. Nicely groomed grounds. It has a huge playground that is in great condition. There are 2 baseball diamonds and a wall ball/ raquet ball court. Bathrooms are in good shape and seem to be well cleaned.Nice picnic areas.

Fun playground for kids of all age. Public restrooms are pretty dirty tho.

This playground is the best in the area for younger kids. I absolutely love it! When my son was young, he used to play baseball here. And now, I enjoy bringing my dogs for a walk. On weekdays, it's not too crowded, but on weekends, you can watch the little ones play tee ball or the older kids play baseball. This place has pretty much everything you could ask for. There's plenty of parking available, and the restrooms at this public park are some of the cleanest you'll ever come across.

North Weddington Recreation is a great place to walk your dog. I wish more people would keep their dogs on a leash. Although you may feel your dog is well-trained, other people don't know you, and they don't know your dog. Leashes help keep you and your dog safe, and it keeps others safe if you have a dog that tends to be more aggressive.

Great hidden Park that is great for walks with the puppy. Couple of baseball fields on one end, playground in the middle with a rec center, and open fields Auth picnic tables on the other side. Look for my dog in the big tree at the back corner near the ball fields.

Very nice location with indoor basketball court and baseball field. Lit up in the evening and has bathrooms 🚻

Great park. Not too busy. Paths for kids to ride scooters. Big grassy area for a game of catch or football. The playground is new, with fun activities that I haven't seen at other parks. Definitely recommend this park!

This is such a cute and active park space. I used to ride through on my bicycle several times a week. There's almost always a dozen kids or so playing on the fields, with larger events happening on the weekends. There are mildly clean restroom facilities, an updated kids play area, plenty of shady spots, and a nifty replica of the 8 planets. Beware of skunks after dark though!

Best playground in the area for younger kids. This place has mostly everything going for it. Ample parking. Some of the cleanest public park restrooms you'll find anywhere. The playground is mostly cushion with minimal sand. Fair amount of shade on seating and play area despite some plastic play structures being heat magnets. Decent foot traffic from other parents so your kid won't be bored alone provided you go before noon.

We didn't go to the rec center, but I take my 3yr old to the playground there all the time. Dedicated sand pit, and spongy floors otherwise. Structure isn't super high, either.

Here all the time for Toluca baseball league. Fields always maintained. Bathrooms usually pretty clean. Play area that kids like as well.
