I found it to be a tranquil park. It's located on the top of hill in Monterrey Park. They have two tennis courts, a baseball field, and plenty of space to run for a park. What I really appreciated was the anonymity. I'll be back.

What I love about this little Park, it's super quiet and extremely clean. Every time I come here there is really no one ever here. The restroom could use a little work. Also there's lots of big trees to set up a picnic under.

It's a nice park but don't expect to see sequoia trees ( lot of trolls posted wrong pictures). It's a neat little park with places to picnic and it has a nice view on ?LA ?.

Great place to unwind and enjoy some quiet. Unless there's a party or a sporting event.

Nice quiet park. Just be aware that there are lots of dogs around the park. Well kept and well maintained landscaping. Has restroom facilities as well, but closed due to pandemic. There are benches for some fine picnic dining.

Sequoia Park is a small, lovely and very well maintained park within a residential community on the hilly section Monterey. It measures approximately five acres. This park offers a Japanese garden with Azumaya View Deck, softball field, children's area, lighted tennis courts, outdoor basketball court, restrooms and picnic facilities. Moreover, it has a great view of DTLA. Plenty of free parking. Park goers were a mixture of young kids, older people and families. Overall, this is a great park to relax, workout and play sports. I highly recommend this park.

My visit was a great time. I had lunch there with some friends under the shade. The bench we used was broken which wasn't great, but everything else was intact and a good time to have.

Great views of the city here. A few public tennis courts. There's a wall for tennis practice

Restrooms are not maintained very well. Otherwise it’s one of the local secrets if you have little ones. This would have been five stars, but…

Nice clean park in Monterey City. The park is small but there are playgrounds for the kids. You can see the mountains and views.

First time at this park. Very nice and clean. In a quiet residential area.

This park is usually not busy with people. Today it was pretty busy but my family still had a great time. We took our dog to walk, played basketball, and had a picnic. There is also 2 tennis courts. A big hill for the kids to tire themselves out by running up and down it. Will definitely be going back.

Way up top of the hill on edge of Monterey Park. Awesome city views on West side!! Amazing. Pretty, wide-open + grassy. Some trees for shade. Restrooms are OPEN! Cell service is spotty to poor up here on top of the world but if u move around u can find good coverage spots. Nice upper-middle class area so your car won't be broken into while you're there. Quiet! I was there on a beautiful Sunday + there was hardly anybody there. Parking lot plus lots of street parking. Great for dogs that like to run (but won't run away). This park is a best-kept secret!

A lonely little park on top of a lonely little hill in a lonely suburb of Los Angeles…..it can feel really lonely there but it is a nice respite from the hubbub of houses and people all around🙌🏼 ⛰

Pleasant park , with two tennis courts, one baseball field, and there's a lovely arch with tables available for sitting. There is also a table here and there around the park with gorgeous views and plenty of trees for shade. A great place to walk for exercise.

Kids playground is falling apart and the sand is not sand, it’s like pebbles. Recently found glass in the sand when my kid and her friend were playing in it. Bathrooms are pretty gross. This place needs a renovation job. Paint needs every where. Sunday’s are the worst. Soccer guys speed up the hill to spread Covid and tear up the grass.

Secluded park in the Bonsai Hill neighborhood is perfect for picnics and being on a hilltop, catches delightful evening breezes. Watch the planes line up at night on their way to LAX. Monterey Park's place for romance!

Surrounding is nice. Affluent neighborhood. The park itself is on top of the hill, which is useful for those who like to do street hiking. As far as amenities, it's got basketball and tennis courts, as well as baseball field. This is a lot for a small park.

It's a nice enough park, but there really isn't much of a view if you cut down the trees and got rid of the houses it would be breathtaking.
