It was very pretty and clean area. Only downside is there were not any benches or tables to sit at which may have been removed due to the pandemic. Regardless, it is a cute spot to enjoy the nice weather.

It was a beautiful day. We dedicated the mounting block in honor of Lynn Brown! An active and dedicated horse woman! Thank you Karen Thornton for your hard work and dedication to seeing the project through!!

Wonderful little park in Burbank. Right next to the freeway so you have to pretend that the traffic noise is the ocean but it's a peaceful park otherwise. You can't see the traffic so that's a plus. Parking can get kinda tight. There are plenty of trees for shade which helps when you want a good nap after your picnic. Dogs allowed on leash and there are restrooms.

Wonderful little park. Plenty of space for an outdoor yoga lesson or a picnic. Also people on horses everywhere you look. Cool little corner of Glendale.

Been roaming throughout this park ever since I could remember, and before I came to this world. Today I decided to take my lunch and enjoy it in its soothing and calm picnic area. I must say to those who are in search of a safe park environment and a open space for the whole family to enjoy and engage in activities, that this park will host them for you. Walking distance to la zoo , travel town , equestrian center and a bunch of local shops that will make your time here relaxing and easy going.

Serene in midmorning. Walked around the equestrian center as well, busy with horse folk.

I like how unoccupied it is. I get time with my dogs without any worries. Best nap and/or picnic chill area. Play Frisbee or kick a ball. I dig it and go whenever my schedule allows it. Even if its just for 30 min. Does the body and mind good.

A clean and peaceful place to go and enjoy the sunshine. Lots of horses, dogs and even pet rabbits to watch. Great place to picnic and take a nap under a shade tree. One of our favorite places to go.

Great little hidden spot in the Glendale/Burbank rancho district. Nice mountain views, beautiful trees, lots of room, lots of sun and shaded spots, great for bird watching, white cranes, horses, dog friendly, watch the sun set over griffith park. Downside is the freeway noise next door and some crazy homeless guy in the area yelling at people. Yikes!

Beautiful and big oen green space by the LA river. However, as a picnic area, there aren't even that many benches, tables, or other facilities.

Small but pretty park with picnic tables, restrooms and access to LA River. Near horse trails and LA Equestrian Center. Be aware of lose dogs (at times), coyotes and homeless in spots. Park shows signs of age but popular with locals and groups of Tai Chi and fitness buffs.

Hidden gem of a park. Reminds me of what it's like to just go sit somewhere and chill and enjoy the breeze and the grass beneath me!

My favorite go-to due to its close proximity. The river is okay after rain and anytime other than summer when the smell picks up. Frequent coyote sightings, so please always be aware of your surroundings and look back behind you twice (they're clever). Especially if you have a dog.

Beautiful park for lawn play and picnics.

  • 4/5 D M. 3 years ago on Google
This place is great!! Nice open grassy space with good shade, amazing birds (we saw families of woodpeckers and herons), and horses and riders trotting by. Not too crowded on a holiday. The only negative is the sounds from the nearby highway. But they were constant enough you dont notice after a minute.

Great spot, open area with a good amount of picnic tables but they are spaced apart so you are not on top of the people around you. It's next to the 101 so not the quietest spot but not overly loud either.
