Beautiful park! However, if you’re coming as a Linkin Park/Chester Bennington fan, you won’t find anything mentioning them here. You can still enjoy a short stroll though!

Rip Chester Bennington. Most people won't see the tiny 6" plaque on the ground near the end of the basketball courts or know what you're talking about if you ask them. Legends live on

Great park great community center Lots of things going on. Small children can play at the playground. Lots of people exercising. There are two nice size basketball courts. Some transients but the park feels safe although it smells like human waste in some sections of the park. Overall a nice little park insanta monica. ***as im writing this i witnessed a park employee shovel human poop and walk it to the restroom an flush it

Cute little park in a quiet part of Santa Monica. In the northern corner near the intersection of California and Lincoln, there are three wooden chess tables for visitors to use. Pieces are not provided, and one table has a bench removed to allow access for wheelchairs. There are large trees nearby, but the shade does not reach the tables.

Not crazy about the mixture of dope fiends and kids... the homeless need a place to go where kids don't get exposed to dirty needles and pookie pipes

Not a huge park but it's cute and has several recreational facilities, including tennis courts, basketball courts, and a playground. However, there are homeless people roaming around in the park, honestly I don't feel like it is very fun to spent much time in the park.

Really nice playground with fence. Your kids can definitely explore and have fun here while being safe.

I really should give this place two stars but I gave it three because there’s been a downtown Santa Monica ambassador here during most daylight hours trying to make the park better. I appreciate Santa Monica trying to make this park better than the reputation that it’s acquired. That being said, what’s the reputation of this park? It’s a park that has failed since 2020. It has way too many unhoused people, which many of the reviews talk about. Besides unhoused, it also seems to attract angry babysitters and nannies of children who’s parents would be so freaked out that the sitters are bringing their children to this park. So either way, you’re probably going to have a suboptimal time at this park. This park does have exercise equipment, tennis courts, basketball courts and probably other features that I haven’t discovered. However, no way I will ever walk a dog in this park or bring young kids to this park. I’m sure you can have a great time in this park, and I’ve definitely made use of many sections of this park. Just make sure to watch your back (and probably your feet) a little.

Too bad there r so many homeless people passed out ..its not a big park..there is the childrens park around the corner ..the Miles Davis theater is a lovely, intimate setting for jazz and the other genres ...I'd highly recommend! Due to the parks homeless population day/night I gave the park in itself one star

This park is clean right across the street from the Catholic Church. It has a nice little playground and the bathrooms are clean kept clean and tidy by Santa Monica until 9 pm there is not a lot of homeless that hang out in the park but at night they do come out and stay, there’s a 7-Eleven not too far away at the rest of the city of Santa Monica is within walk range

Beautiful park, tennis courts, playground, exercise equipment and decent sized courtyard to hang out in.

I really like this park, it has great features like outdoor workout stations and calisthenics equipment. However, it's unfortunate houseless people here who clearly have mental health issues will do drugs in broad daylight infront of children and other patrons of the park here.

Terrible service. Some rude lady called me about paying off some missed lesson at 8 am. Was groggy and confused on the phone because I had never heard of this place. Turns out a family member put me as a number. She was sharp and condescending the whole call and I was just wondering what the heck she was on about. Her final words: “well, either you or that person is going to have to pay the missing fee, OKAY?”. Come off it.

Nice place for pickup Basketball games and Tennis practice or training. Also if you're not too squeemish about the homeless that do frequent the area quite often it is a nice quiet place to picnic or merely hangout with friends?

Nice chill park with a basketball court and games. No frills. Parking around the area was charged though, so 4 stars

Nice park if you're using it for: children's playgrounds, tennis, or basketball. The rest of the park, primarily the open green space, is currently occupied by homeless encampments/gatherings. That said, the homeless groups mostly keep to themselves without disturbing other people in the other areas in the park. My two star and negative is mainly the abundance of litter left behind and scattered all over the park.
