This is your stereotypical vegan restaurant. Solid menu mostly consisting of imitation dishes. Why would I want vegan chicken and waffles? I don't know, but maybe you do. The food is solid and the prices are about what you'd expect. Staff was super friendly.

I ended up here today by accident. I asked the chick working the counter what's good and one of the first things she said was "vegan menu" and I easily could've walked back out. Nothing against vegan food. I've eaten it before and it's fine but I'm a meat eater. I eat meat. But I couldn't walk out in this moment. I felt I needed to eat at this place on Sunset, in Silver Lake. It just felt right. I asked about the comfort food item and the chick recommended it because she loves it. I read what comes with the dish and like all of the ingredients especially the mashed potatoes. I am the mashed potato king of America. Also ordered a bowl of tortilla soup and a chocolate shake. It's one of the best random meals I've ever eaten. The flavors of the comfort food were amazing together. Lots of mashed potatoes and a hearty amount of portobello mushrooms and zucchini and onions and other stuff, and the quinoa meatloaf tied it all together. The chocolate "shake" is more like vegan chocolate ice tea if that makes sense. It's wet instead of the traditional milk and ice cream milkshake I've grown up with. I ate outside and enjoyed the passerby and traffic and just the whole general moment. I'll come back. I appreciate the chick working the counter.

My new favorite restaurant in LA! Dining at Flore was a great experience from start to finish. Great service and great food. The environment was laid back and welcoming with the option to dine outdoors in a bright space full of greenery. There was no wait, we were seated immediately. The menu is pretty big with bowls, raw options, pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, salads, and many desserts. Even the juice and smoothie selection is extensive. There are pictures of all the menu items on their website which helped us decide what to get. Everything ended up looking even better than their photos which was pretty exciting. As an appetizer we got the kimchi quesadillas. Kimchi in a quesadilla ended up being a great combo. In the Gaucho Bowl, the mashed potatoes with mushroom gravy had a satisfying savory taste, and the portobello steak was full of flavor! The burrito bowl with seitan also had great flavor. We were really pleased with how filling and large the bowl portions were. For dessert, the lemon berry cake was delicious. It's common for vegan cakes to be overly dense or a bit dry... but not here! Even the frosting was good and not way too sweet like frosting often is. The seasonal pumpkin cheesecake was another good one.

Amazing server, we loved how we felt at this place! The food was great too, but not excellent. Super tasty, hot, quick but for the price we expected them to go above and beyond. Anyways, it was delicious. The coleslaw and fries that come with the sandwich are freaking good. The beer was good too. Deserts are not the absolute best, maybe the carrot cake would have been a better choice than the gf chocolate peanut butter cheesecake. The location and the ambience is good, I love the outdoor seating with heaters.

Amazing food - honestly, the chicken and waffles are so so good. Left me stuffed. 4/5 because their ice coffees need well, more ice!

This food is incredible, so much flavor in every dish! Appetizer, entree and desert were spectacular! Received some wonderful service as well. Loved the decor. We sat right outside during the sunset, very gorgeous. I had the kimchi quesadilla as a starter, the burrito bowl entree, and for my desert I went with their newly introduced pumpkin spice cheesecake. I went with the seitan option for my bowl. It was seasoned very nicely and complimented the rest of the plate very well. The dessert was my favorite overall. The texture, taste and icing were perfect! Not too sweet at all, just right! Favorite vegan restaurant I’ve tried so far here in Los Angeles.

Have been here twice and I’m in love. Came for brunch the first time and had a bowl and the fried chicken and waffles. Wow. Their take on fried chicken and waffles is unforgettable. Their bowls are always so filling and I love that all the healthy things I’m eating taste amazing. You can tell the food is made with love. The meal photographed is the club sandwich and the burrito bowl. Both amazing.

This healthy restaurant has been part of the Silver Lake scene for many many years. It moved about 6 blocks East of its former location on the other side of the street. Everything here is hand made from scratch and super tasty! I love the cupcakes! They offer outdoor dining way before the pandemic. This is a great place to set and enjoy good conversation and people watching along the sunset boulevard strip here and Silver Lake.

We stopped here for a quick lunch while on our way to Beverly Hills. The restaurant has a very nice outdoor terrace with flowers and there is a nice atmosphere. The customer service is friendly, and portions are quite big. We ordered the Sriracha Avocado toast and the breakfast burrito. Both were just ok to be honest. The toast was somewhat better but didn’t really look like an Avocado Toast at all (see pictures). I certainly had better vegan food in South California but our experience here was fairly positive overall.

Looking for a Vegan place that is welcoming, was good options, and has a wonderful service staff? Well come on by to Flore Vegan 🌱!! This is my second time being here! I only have their soup and Smoothie because I’m on a liquid diet lol and my friend decided to want to go eat. She actually had the chicken and waffles, which was stated that the chicken is mushroom-based. But she said it was not so not sure what that was all about but being that her and I are more raw Vegan type of people, we were expecting some thing more vegetable-based. However, this does not take away from the service and the amazing presentation. I love the man that was working that evening. He is so kind and nice and always comes to check on us as well. There is some inside seating, and a back patio for people to enjoy, which is really nice on a Thursday night. I would always love to come back here if I’m in the area for the sake of how well they take care of the people which is a big thing for me when I come to any establishment. There is a valet parking in the parking lot, as well as street parking. As you know, we are sharing a lot of parking with other local places nearby so just be prepared for that if you are looking for a free parking. Thanks guys and until soon!

I ordered the Blueberry Buckwheat Bliss, a side of potatoes with hot sauce, the tonic juice, drip coffee, and water. The total came to $33, including an 18% tip. This spot captured my heart - it's the perfect destination for a relaxing Sunday morning breakfast.

TL;DR Delicious food and friendly staff! I recently moved back to Southern California and the traffic is legit horrible! Way worse than it was 7 years ago. I was driving home during rush hour and my GPS was estimating a three hour drive. Ugh! I wanted to get home but three hours at a snail’s pace seemed tortuous. I exited at Silver Lake. I wasn’t sure what to do. By chance, I came across an adorable little vegan cafe. I enjoyed a coffee and ordered the club sandwich, while finishing up my work on my laptop. I had a lovely time in a cute cafe with delicious food. Bonus: I finished all my work and my commute home was now a fraction of the time! PS the vegan club sandwich and potato salad is amazing. The leftover half sandwich was even better the next day.

The "waffles & chicken" was seriously good, especially with the mashed potatoes and gravy sauce. The egg benedict sandwich looked real but could have tasted better with Himalayan salt that adds egg flavor, I was surprised that they didn't add it. I would say it's rather overhyped on tiktok and I won't order it again. Also the sandwich bread could have been better or maybe my expectations are just too high. But I would definitely return for the waffles n chiken🙂

I give it two stars because the service was okay, had a woman with boy cut hair give attitude to my husband who asked where was the restroom. The food was good, BUT the food came out barely warm and the coffee was the same. That is why I gave it two stars I pray that they start to give the customer hot food and hot coffee.

Love this place but why are the teas not available on postmates anymore??? Then sometimes if I select a drink you don't have I have to change my order to a different drink because there is no "add comments" type of option available. Please fix this mess I love your teas!!

I find the couple negative reviews here to be examples of off days? Whatever, because every time I've gone there in both prior and current location, the food is great and service friendly. Somehow they make the waffles fluffy... the burritos very savory, with attention to every detail, like slightly toasting the tortilla on grill... delicious. Their cooks are serious and I've complimented and thanked them accordingly. Vegan or not, great food. The owner is a very nice lady and she also owns my favorite beauty/gifts boutique called Le Pink Apothecary down the block. They're local small businesses I'm grateful are open and whom I can support.

Absolutely delicious food!! We came for brunch. My fiancé orderded the chicken and waffles and I had the huevos rancheros. The breakfast potato were also friggin delicious. 🥰 Our server Amie was a delight and so thoughtful. She provided us with so many amazing suggestions. Thank you for such a great experience, Amie. We'll be back again soon as we are looking forward to trying more of their menu. Fingers crossed we get her again as our server. ❤

This is our absolute favorite vegan spot on the East Side. The staff is great (Shout out Moises, you're the man) and everything we've tried is fantastic. Make sure you ask for a side of hotsauce.

Another great find in LA! A quaint little restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Everyone was so nice and the food was fabulous! Lots of great menu options. We had the vegan chicken quesadilla, cinnamon roll, rice n beans and portobello tacos. Everything was amazing!

It was really good! I came here before The Moth show accross the street and was really glad I did. Shelly was my waitress and she recommended the white bean soup of the day. It was so delicious on a cold night, I wish I had ordered a whole bowl. Followed that up with the burrito bowl which was super good and you have one happy vegan. I think it was a good value and the service was fast and friendly. Nice and clean with lots of seating, although it was pretty chilly on the patio. I also have to say parking is a nightmare and it’s not very conveniently located.

  • 4/5 Archana N. 2 years ago on Google
The avocado and cheese sandwich was great! I was grateful to have an option that was tasty and also didn't have meat substitutes. The basil and tomato soup was hearty, though I wish there was a full sandwich and soup combo, as I didn't want any of the sides offered with the sandwich. The street facing indoor/outdoor seating was very relaxing and created an interesting view. The food came out quick and the service was very friendly and laid back.

Incredibly tasty food. Finding parking close to this place can be difficult. Also they give way too many fries, but for most people that’s a good problem.

I’m a Vegan. I’ve had the food here and it’s pretty good. This is a review for the cinnamon roll, carrot cake, & tres leché Cake. Cinnamon Roll - hard & dry. 🗑️ Carrot Cake - extremely hard & Death Valley dry. 🗑️ Trés Leché Cake - it was ok. I’m super disappointed, bc I bought them for friends to try. I assumed that a place like this would never serve stale cakes & rolls. Vegan desserts already get a bad rap, and those desserts didn’t help.

Very cute little cafe with mostly outdoor seating. We tried the breakfast burrito, the eggs Benediction, vanilla latte, and peanut butter hemp shake. The portions were HUGE and everything was really delicious! The vegan poached eggs were extremely convincing (and I actually eat real eggs on occasion). My favorite thing was definitely the shake. I would definitely come back to try more things! It was very hard to choose!

We have eaten here the last two nights & it will be our go to for dinner while in Tamarindo! The whole experience is incredible. Wonderful service, friendly place with fresh food, unique recipes & easily some of the best food we’ve ever eaten. Can’t say enough good things & are very happy to have a healthy place to eat.

I love this place. Such great food and friendly staff. However, making me pay $1 for extra salad dressing when your ramekin is so small for the salad is infuriating. Please change that policy. Everyone hates people that do that. Staff hate making customers do it. Look how small this ramekin is 😂. I’m still giving 5 stars though bc, while I despise that you made me find a dollar for an extra squirt of salad dressing, you’re a really great spot.

Really, really great falafel! I had "plate me", and everything was amazing and went together really well. The falafel was the best part, without a doubt: perfect texture, really flavorful, and authentic. I wish I'd taken a picture of the food, but I'll update later with a few photographs when I go back (which will definitely be soon!). And everything there is vegan!!

This place both has delicious healthy food and comfort food. I went here with three other vegans and two non-vegans and all of us loved the food. Their new location is great and better than the last. The vegan chicken and waffles is insane, the salads are great and they even had some seasonal pumpkin items. There seems to be plenty of room for outdoor seating so I definitely plan on coming back again soon!

A couple of friends and I had lunch here yesterday since the restaurant next door did not offer dine-in. It was a pleasant surprise to find Flor Vegan had a nice spacious & open patio with a full menu that had a variety of options. Food: I ordered the chicken & waffles. I really enjoyed the banana flavored waffles but the "chicken" patty (which I still don't know what its made out of since it wasn't disclosed in the entree description) was smothered in gravy. The gravy was overwhelming and the flavor was just not it. It was giving me "country fried steak" vibes and I did not like it (as well as my other friend who ordered chicken & waffles too). It also came with a side of potatoes which were good. Drink: I ordered the fresh lemonade which was a bit disappointing. It tasted like a powered mix. Customer service: very friendly! The ladies were really helpful and gave warm, friendly service throughout. I think this place is worh a visit especially if you're strolling by with a couple of friends. The waffles are yummy.

It is just so wonderful to have amazing sushi that just happens to be vegan. The wait can be long since they don't take reservations but we've had a ton of luck going right when they open, or popping down the street to zeitgeist for a beer while we wait. I can't say enough good things about Flore Vegan!

We ordered delivery and the food was fresh and healthy. Particularly enjoyed the eggplant and tofu as well as the vegetable fried rice. The Pad Thai was a bit dry though the flavor was nice. Was not inexpensive but since I was trying to find a meal that would satisfy a paleo and a vegan diet, this was a success.

Really enjoyed having lunch here! They have a really nice outdoor dining patio. All the dishes me and my friends got were both beautifully plated and super delicious! A good assortment of healthy salads and bowls and more familiar comfort items like burritos and burgers. If your a fan of fresh and crispy French fries, this is the place to stop! I also ordered an iced vanilla latte, personally would've liked it stronger but overall still delicious! Servers were kind and just overall a great experience! Will definitely make it a regular place to take my friends!
