Doomie's has thus far been the friendliest and most fantastic experience I've had at any restaurant in Los Angeles. The staff was absolutely excellent, receptive, and friendly. I loved not just the food, but the experience of being here. The food was really excellent; I got the three-piece dinner, which was divine. I also tried the Jalapeno Puffs and some Mac & Cheese. I will note that nothing was as spicy as I had expected, but it did all taste wonderfully. One of my friends pointed out that the cheese had a distinct barbecue sauce/smoke flavor to it. I personally enjoyed it, but she didn't, so this may be something to consider if that isn't a flavor you enjoy.

I absolutely love this place. There is not a healthy thing on the menu but it is amazing. The jalapeno poppers and fried shrimp are to die for. So many more fantastic items on their menu. Parking can be really tricky especially on a weekend. You can usually find parking on the street but they're parking lot is a hot mess. They do have some outdoor seating now and indoor. They switched to a cashless system and now use touch screen ordering where you enter your phone number and receive a text when your order is ready for pickup. Service is good but depends on who you get.

A SUPER fun place to really be wow-ed by their creations!! This place is definitely somewhere that I recommend for the novelty! Play song for me I just stop too much fries food so it was definitely a little bit overwhelming but I think it’s a super amazing place to go and try. If you are on vacation and are vegan or not I would recommend this to anyone in the area!! We had a really good time and I feel like the way that they curate their dishes is so creative and amazing, there are some really cool ways that they imitate non-vegan foods.

Excellent selection of vegan comfort food. Vast array of options & good taste. You will likely overeat and regret it afterwards but it's good food. It is pricey in my opinion. Check out menu & decide for yourself.

First time trying DHC yesterday. Vegan food will be more a bang for your buck$ than your avg non vegan spot. I purchased the following: Crispy Chicken Sandwich Buffalo Crispy Chicken Sandwich Buffalo Legs Strawberry Milkshake Oreo Milkshake The Crispy Chicken Sandwich was too cheesy, made the sandwich quite soggy. The Buffalo Legs were quite good. The only downside took nearly an hour to make despite having a few orders ahead of me. Overall food is good just ease up on the cheese towards the CCS.

I’m not a vegan but I thought I would try this place out with a friend. If you’re going to dine in you order with the screens. Don’t forget to put your number in so they text you when the food is ready. I got the fried chicken dinner. It actually really tastes like the real thing - more or less. At the end not for me though as I prefer real chicken but a great substitute for people who don’t eat meat. The mash and sides were fine.

The food was decent. They need to work on their french fries. They were completely cold when they got home and I could tell that they were cooked in under-temperature oil. The sandwiches were great. Their selection was actually pretty limited because the shop decided to switch to impossible burgers, which we don't touch as vegans (too close to the real thing). The ladies behind the counter were absolutely delightful and answered questions wonderfully. The big problem I hope the owner addresses is that the restaurant's interior could really use renovation and a significant update. You can go down the block to another vegan diner and have a completely clean, well lit place to eat with great furniture and aesthetics. This location on the other hand looks dirty as hell even if it wasn't, there is unused furniture piled up in weird places, the seats are uncomfortable, and it feels very divey in a bad way. I would not take kids here despite the media references in the table tops. Also, they gave us the food in styrofoam. Who the hell packs vegan food in styrofoam these days?

The food here is pretty good. It's vegan food open late in Hollywood is it's great if you want drunk food or otherwise a late night bite. I do feel there are better vegan sandwiches I've had but the food here was satisfying and the prices were normal. The inside leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to decor but it does the job. Food can be slow when busy.

The food is great, tasted really close to non-vegan variations of the same items and it was prepared quickly. We ordered the Fried chicken and the Mac and cheese patty melt sandwich. 5 stars for me on food. Ordering is done using the touch screens or ahead of time and you pick up at the counter. The guy working the counter was courteous and efficient. 5 stars on customer service. So why 4 stars? The dining area. The floors had a tack to them, sort of like movie theater aisles, which is slightly off putting, and I didn't see the tables wiped down once between multiple customers coming and going using the same booths. There are also visible cobwebs in the corner that have been long abandoned and hanging black from the ceiling.

Doomies - PLEASE open up a restaurant in Denver!!! This is hands down the best vegan food I’ve ever had—speaking as a vegan of 11 years and having traveled and lived in a number of places. The wings blew me away. Absolutely amazing. The fried shrimp was spectacular, and I have never had such an amazing milkshake. Birthday cake flavor was phenomenal, I didn’t even know a milkshake could taste so good! I had a long list of vegan places I wanted to try in LA while there for a few days but this is the only place I went back to a second time. But seriously Doomies come to Denver—the market is so severely undersaturated here, we need this in our city!

The people working here on Christmas Day amazing 💯 The Fry game is on point here because sometimes you go to a place and there's a bad taste in their fried products where you can tell the oil is used or reused. I don't get those vibes here or those kind of taste in the food. I like that the fried shrimp really has the right kind of bite and texture. Some people are allergic to regular shrimp and I would say this is a wonderful shrimp for them to try.

Would have given it a 5 star if the customer service was better! Very strange setup, made to wait around 25 minutes for food to arrive once ordered and staff are busy in the kitchen rather front of house! Food on the other hand is great, they have really conquered the vegan scene! Southern fried chicken is great and battered prawns are amazing and the texture is uncanny. Done well guys, just sort your front of house out!

My wife and I ordered off of the hot vegan chicks menu. Probably more of a 3.5 but it’s mostly cause the service was mediocre at best and we got a little dipping cup of macaroni for $4. I had the garlic herb chicken tenders and the Nashville hot chicken tenders. The garlic one was pretty salty but was ok with pickles and ketchup. The Nashville hot was pretty amazing I’m not gonna lie. The fries were really good too, suuuper crispy! My wife ordered the Korean bbq i think it was but whatever it was, we traded a piece and the Korean sauce was amazing too! So overall the food was pretty darn good, food is a tad bit pricey but worth it, but the service was a little disappointing as I couldn’t even use the bathroom after we ate. I rang the bell for service twice but nobody came out so I can get the code to the bathroom. Would probably be back but would try hamburger spot, hopefully with better service.

Delicious, greasy, fried junk food! And a soda station where you can add flavors. And the tables are all themed. And open until midnight! A favorite for late night benders and grubbing after shows

I've been here a few times and would always recommend this vegan restaurant. After the pandemic, it's not like it used to be. You order through a kiosk, which is cool, but the place is kinda run down. Tables were dirty and gnats flying around my table. Restrooms were nasty af not sure how they were still business . The food wasn't the same either except for the shakes. They lost a long time customer that used to travel to eat there.

I love this place. But the vibe has seriously changed post-COVID. No servers. Touchscreen ordering. Food served in styrofoam containers. Weird booths. Still hits the spot, but not in the same way.

We ordered exactly at 11 am when they opened, in the hopes that the food would be ready when we arrived. When it was time for us to pick the order up after the estimated cooking time (about 20 minutes later), we found out that they hadn’t even started the order….minus one star. Regardless, we were looking forward to trying the food so we patiently waited in the car for 25 more minutes until the food was ready. We get home and immediately realized that we were missing the included ranch for the jalapeño poppers and we also did not receive the extra ranch we paid for…minus one star. The food itself was decent. The jalapeño poppers were cheesy and spicy and the Nashville tenders were mildly spicy but still tasty. We also had the shrimp po boy which did taste like real shrimp, however the sandwich as a whole was pretty bland. Overall…I’ve had better Vegan food for the same price and without having to wait a long time for it so I probably will not be returning.

The food is just way too good. Ordered the pulled pork sandwich, bacon cheese fries, shrimp po boy sandwich, a fudge brownie and a oreo cheese cake. Everything was super delicious.

If you want vegan trough slop, Doomie’s has you covered! The realistic fried chick’n is incredibly well crafted. The entire establishment including Next Mex needs a power washing.

Might do the trick if you’re drunk. Between the fluorescent lights, broken ceiling tiles, disgusting bathrooms, and 0 presence of any form of service (everything is ordered on a poorly designed tablet app) stepping foot in here immediately resulted in a loss of appetite. It’s drafty and freezing inside, one song playing at a time and then 5 minutes of silence. Table seating is cramped, uncomfortable, drafty, with weird cork coating seats that make it impossible to slide in or off. This place genuinely felt like a stock room of a truck stop. I honestly can not imagine a worse scenario to try and ingest food Side fries tasted like old fried oils and looked like they were covered in some sort of dirty batter. The animal fries (which were soggy the second they were made) and whatever house sauces they had on them was sour to the point of tasting spoiled. Pulled pork burger was thin, lifeless, and underwhelming. Fried chicken was also underwhelming, too greasy, and old tasting. Also if you have anything you need a fork to eat- forget it because whatever plastic cutlery they use is extremely thin and the fork teeth wouldn’t even pick up any of the loaded fries. With all the great vegan fast food in this city, I genuinely do not understand the rave reviews

Had the fried chicken meal. Ordering it was a nightmare, and ended up with $57 worth of additional pending charges because the system was charging my card and still not registering the order. The chicken was hella greasy and I felt ill after eating it. Mac and cheese was somehow blander than boiled pasta, the mashed potatoes were just okay (seemed like they came out of an MRE), the gravy on top was the best part of the meal. For some reason I got a slice of carrot cake which was kinda dry. Can't recommend it.

Hands down the best vegan burger/chicken place I've been to in over 20 years of vegetarianism. The "chicken" sandwiches are an absolute delight - juicy, crispy, and perfect. Portion sizes are beyond generous, and their shakes and cookies are delicious too. We have been back a few times and Doomie's is now our go-to spot when we're hungry in LA.

It’s gross to look at but it’s my favorite food in LA. Greasy and delicious vegan food. I’ve tried almost everything and everything is good. The buffalo wings and fried shrimp are my favorites. The pbj burger is amazing but I’ve never been able to finish it in one o

What can I say- the very best vegan food I have ever had!! Danky Dank fried chicken and omg them fried shrimps are a knockout!! Mac and cheese, burgers, and fries are all out of this world. Oh and the desserts leave me speechless in delight!! I have traveled around and nowhere compares, so grateful they are in my town.

100% vegan food. This is the typical burger, onion rings, shakes, and American food restaurant. Portion sizes are huge! You order on a tablet and say 2 words to the staff. Very informal and poor service. The atmosphere is kind of awkward with messy booths. The people next to us had a dog under the table eating dog food. All the walls were painted by the owner or staff. It reminded me of when I was 22 out at the bars and wanted some greasy food to soak up all the alcohol. Overall, the food had good flavor, and we had plenty to eat.

The kiosk ordering was convenient, but in ordering two sets of utensils we still only received two forks and one spoon, and I could not see any employees around who I could ask for an additional spoon. The tables are fun in their design, but the rest of the decor is not memorable. My friend had the Texas Toast Mac n Chz Patty Melt, which they seemed to enjoy, but barely touched. I had the Chili Mac. The cheese on the Mac n Cheese was pretty bad. I've had good plant based cheese before, and they did not use it. Additionally, the "chili" may as well have been a brown sauce added to half my box. It had very thin consistency and very little flavor. I was very disappointed and ended up tossing most of it. The garlic fries were delicious, and while all the portions were large, the amount of fries we got was truly absurd, in the best way. The deep fried Oreos were quite fun, and the ice cream was solid.

One word says it all about this place, and that is, superb! It is worth the hour and a half drive through traffic to eat here. You won't be disappointed in the quality, quantity, and service of the food. I always leave as a satisfied customer. On this visit, I brought 13 people to experience Doomie's experience. Special Note: This was the first time I have used their bathroom facilities and I was impressed by the cleanliness of it which is a very important element of the restaurant's overall cleanliness. Yes, it is all vegan! Remember to take your debit card or credit card because they don't take cash. Check out Doomie's NextMex located next door also. It's vegan too! Enjoy and share the love with others when you do! Sharing is caring! ☺️

The vegan food here is amazing. So happy to have stopped by. Had the BBQ Pork sandwich; so delicious and not made with jackfruit! And the fries are like In-and-out except they actually taste great! And the staff is very friendly and helpful. Can't wait to try more on the menu.

Great selection, Delicious, Vegan, Quality, open Late night, and badass music playing loudly from the Kitchen ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ Alittle bit of a wait time but soooo worth it if you're looking for any of the above. Even if you're not vegan you could never tell and the food is amazing and crazy good!! Would definitely make the trip to go again!

Delicious meal. The burger & fries were nice and the vegan thousand Island sauce really made the meal for me. The meat patty is very unique and goes with the burger well however the grilled taste on it is a bit much for me. All things considered, if you're really looking for a scrumptious burger and fries and you want it to taste similar to something maybe you've had in the past when eating real meat... this could be a great stop. Also they have wonderful pastries available that look absolutely gorgeous.
