Ate at Sage last weekend and as always the food was on point! I’m very selective about where I choose to eat out because of my commitment to locally and organically sourced food. Sage meets that standard and then some. From the drinks and appetizers to dessert, the food never disappoints! I’m so grateful to live near this gem.

I have been coming to Sage every time I visit LA from SD for almost three years now. In the 10-15 times I’ve been been here, it has never disappointed at this location (didn’t have a great experience at the Culver City location). While it’s not the spot I come to for a “healthy vegan” spot (although there are options), I love that the food is organic and locally sourced at minimum. I always tend to favor the Buffalo cauliflower wings and they are delicious! All their sauces are amazing too. The staff is typically very friendly as well- today the service at the bar was just ok, but the hostess was very kind. I was so happy to be able to sit indoors again today, and loved the atmosphere. I’ll be back soon!

I love sage! I eat here all the time and it’s become a hobby to try all of the menu items. My favorite is the Buffalo cauliflower wings and the orange chicken bowl. They have so many options, it’s so hard to really pick a fav!! The staff is really friendly and makes my dining experience a fun one. It’s a nice date spot with the perfect ambiance. Not to mention the beers are brewed in house! I can’t believe the happy hour is so unadvertised but $5 for a beer is an unbeatable price in La 🍻

One of the best vegan places I have encountered in the Los Angeles area! The cauliflower wings is a must have because it is one of their signature dishes. My friend and I have also tried their farmer's lasagna, butternut squash ravioli, and the mole (mo-lay) bowl. They have a large menu, so there are a lot of items I have not tried yet. However, the ones I have, have all been nothing short of amazing. My only small critique is that the dishes are a bit expensive, such as the cauliflower wings as a shared dish cost $17, almost the same price as the entrées which were around $20-21. But given the inflation, I understand it, and it does not negate the food quality. I will be back for sure when I visit the Los Angeles area again, and will try to try every dish possible! If they bring this place to the Twin Cities in Minnesota, I will be a frequent customer.

I recently tried the avocado toast for my first time at a restaurant and acai bowl at Sage Plant Based Bistro and they were absolutely delicious! The avocado toast was perfectly toasted with creamy avocado spread on top, and the acai bowl was refreshing and packed with flavor. Both dishes were beautifully presented and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. I highly recommend trying them if you're looking for a tasty and healthy meal option. Sage Plant Based Bistro definitely knows how to satisfy your cravings in the most nutritious way!

What a meal! Portion sizes insane, taste incredible and menu choices to die for! Want a great vegan dinner, look no further! Pricey, but made up for it with epic portion sizes and flavour! Highly recommend for anyone wanting some quality food in a relaxed, chilled atmosphere!

They have a very large menu and breakfast is served until 2 pm on most days. A friend suggested this place and I was in the area. I ate there twice in a week. This is top 5 vegan places I’ve eaten. Breakfast burrito, French toast, pizza & nachos were all fire. The French toast is the best French toast I’ve ever had. I also got a cinnamon roll but ate it before I could take a picture. You can’t go wrong with whatever you order. They have something for everybody. Smoothies, beer, juices, food, desserts, they have it all. Went back again, added more pics. I try something new every time I go here. This is my go to spot whenever I’m in LA.

Completely Vegan!! Must go place for breakfast or brunch if you are in LA!! We were there for 2 days of breakfast while we stayed in LA. The menu is great with amazing and unique food, interesting drinks, healthy smoothies. We had a amazing server/host who helped us with our questions!! I loved the Fried plantains and the Dreamy Green smoothie!

Excellent vegan food. Every time I go to a vegan restaurant that crushes it I tell myself that I’d never need to/feel the desire to eat meat again if my food could be this good. Sage definitely delivered. Hot, fresh, tasty - quick and friendly service. Great spot for a date night or just to grab a few cocktails. They have a great happy hour deal all the time.

Great ambiance tomato soup, cider and artichoke were fantastic the ravioli was deep fried which I didn’t like. Waiters are scare of their own shadow.

Always love sage and I’m not even vegan. It still tastes great when I go with vegan friends. Also have wonderful homemade brews though I’ve only tried the homemade kombucha. Amazing place and particularly amazing vegan cream base which can build into a number of creamy sauces.

Unbelievably better than before. I may be biased but this is the original location and it gives me life!….I highly suggest ALL fellow Vegetarians/Vegans stop by this location. There is nothing ever not tasty and the food is healthier. Our host was amazing and very welcoming! I’m definitely visiting every time I visit LA!

Food is great most of the time. However be careful if doing pick up as I got brown guac and almost no tofu scramble on two orders of chilaquiles…

This was a very good trip. I had ordered the coconut curry ramen, and it was so delicious. Just a heads-up, this place is vegan, so they have no meat products here. But, I wasn't able to tell, because it tasted exactly like I had meat in the dish I ordered. The only thing that slightly bothered me was the pricing on certain things, but that's understandable with the area it is in. The atmosphere is chill, the food is great, and the service is wonderful. 10/10, would recommend.

Next level—period! Everything is plant based and organic, even the tequila! This is my new favorite plant based food spot in LA!

My first time here. I forgot to take a picture of the fried chicken sandwich but it was really great. I also had these Jackfruit taquitos that were really good. This place is really comfy and it looked like lots of people where here on dates hahaha vegans come check out out :)

Sage has a very relaxed, romantic vibe during dinner time. The tables in the restaurant are spaced out well, which is a big plus for me while dining somewhere. I ordered the Farmer’s Lasagna and my friend had the Miso Rainbow Bowl we were both impressed by how large the portion was. The seasonal beer is a must have while dining here as well. The extra bonus is how much is locally sourced at Sage.

Great service✨ When I went it felt like a really small location. The outside tables were okay, really close to the side walk and it would have been nice to have music :) Plantain burrito, was not that great. Was not feeling the sweet taste in my burrito. The cauliflower Buffalo was delicious! A bit on the spicy side

gluten free options, i had a great orange chicken (cauliflower) dish that satisfied every craving. my partner got nachos but regretted not getting cashew cheese. such fun vegan options overall, it was hard to choose. would have liked to see more non-alcoholic beverages available; blended juices and tonics can be just as natural, reviving, and exciting to the senses. prices per dish were high, but it was worth it for the freshness of the food, ingredients, and overall dining experience.

The fried artichoke hearts were so freaking good! Delicious soft pretzels, tofu sandwich, and fries!

This place is a vibe! I love bringing non-vegan friends and family here to get a taste of how good fresh, organic plant based food is. I have yet to bring guest and not have them fall in love with the food. If you haven't been, may I suggest the weekend brunch? The jalapeño corn meal pancakes are incredible!

Hubby had a dish with vegan Parmesan with broccoli, mixed salad, vegan sugar donut and I ate super simple with lentil soup, brown rice and green veggies. We can always sound on a deliciously wonderful nutritious meal at Sage when we are in town!

Yes, a million times yes to the coffee and dessert! The food is also great. The only thing that bummed me out is they stop serving breakfast at noon. :( but next time I’ll go earlier. Really great service as well and positive atmosphere.

Let me say first, I am a meat eater and ordered tonight along side my vegan friend because she recommended this restaurant and said I wouldn’t regret it. Not only did I not regret it, I couldn’t wait to leave this review! I ordered the Buffalo cauliflower wings and the heirloom tomato pizza on vegetable crust. The wings were delish, but the pizza knocked my socks off! The flavors, the creaminess, the texture, it was amazing! I ate all but one pieces on my own (have a slice to my friend for verification)! Bravo to you!! Keep up the great menu!!

Sage Plant is amazing!!! The nachos are a bowl full of flavor, the Mac n cheese ball was the best I have ever had. Also the I highly recommend the Boozy Booch, it is very tasty!! I cannot say enough to justify how good this place is!!

White pizza wasn’t too bad but the ‘sausage’, pepper and onion pizza was a slopfest. Server didn’t get us plates to eat on until we were almost done. Messy experience.

Friendly staff. We were seated and served promptly for a Saturday morning. Chilaquiles were so good-huge portions for the pricing. Salsa verde was a little spicy! Craft Hard Kombucha was lovey! The avocado toast was devoured by my friends! Thank you, Sage Team! I will absolutely be back the next time I’m in town for more delicious dairy/gluten free options!

Went to repeat park lake for a walk and needed to snatch a few beverages after. This was just a brief stroll from the recreation center and it a very marvelous spot. They have huge loads of house made beverages and yummy food alternatives too. The assistance was extraordinary also and everybody was truly pleasant. Pretty interesting energy. Felt like I was back in Brooklyn. Marvelous spot. Most certainly suggest. You truly can't turn out badly with this spot. There's food choices for everybody and their menu is additionally really definite and clarifies any dietary limitations.

The space was cozy and clean. The industrial brew-pub style was efficient and welcoming. We opted in sitting at the bar. The place filled up quick. This was our second post dinner cocktail spot. We tried a few of the local fares and the brewer was nice enough to let us try a few of the newer beers. Nice wait staff and bartenders. Definitely get there early!

Well it's me again and you know my reviews😇 You might not always like em but they are pretty honest. Where has this spot been all of my life? We had the Avocado Tacos and they were really good. They wasn't saturated with salt and I like that, people think that salt makes good food and to me that's just not true. There was a hint of spiciness from the habanero perfectly done not too much to enjoy. It was served with black beans and i think brown rice my only complaint is that the rice was kinda stuck together but it didn't ruin the flavor I just like fluffy rice😁

Amazing vegan plant based restaurant. Started with the house made fresh soft baked pretzels that came with 3 delicious dipping sauces. Got the tuna melt to go and it was amazing as Selma fan really filling. Can’t wait to comeback.

The recommended tempura Buffalo cauliflower was as good as they say. My other server-recommended dish was the farmer’s lasagna. The lasagna and red sauce were perfectly flavored, with good texture and distinct layers. The side of “sourdough bread” was over-toasted whole grain sandwich bread. Then there was the side blob of gooey substance. (See pic; it’s circled in yellow.) it was disturbing in its texture…something between slime and cold oatmeal. When asked what this was, my server said she had no idea, nor did she find out.

This place is fantastic. They offer a very extensive menu, where you can cater to healthier choices if preferred rather than excessively oily or fried dishes, heavy with salt. Yes it is costly, however, both the brews and food were excellent and well worth the try. We do not live in the area, but will certainly return if we make it back to the LA area. Ambience was nice and dog-friendly outside.

Food looked good but customer service is awful dealing with rude unprofessional attitude (chelsie) and other staff female cashier dealing with money and not washing hands and serving food .. This is completely unacceptable .. This needs to be enforced right away... Completely ruined date and decided not to eat the food .. disrespectful attitude slamming the ice cream door. Out of all the times I’ve came here I never seen her or experienced such horrid attitude. Even while chelsie was charging my gf. Horrible service from her, review for echo park location. ONTOP of it All the so called owner responds to this with no solution. Terrible, never recommending this place with lousy careless staff. I can only imagine how unsanitary it can be behind closed doors, we gave the food to a homeless. THE FOOD WASNT touched. And the owner obviously didn’t read this correct That already speaks for itself.
