This small family business is the bomb! They have an amazing menu with inventive and delicious dishes. The spicy portobello were big and crunchy and juicy. The flavor was perfectly balanced with the Cole slaw and the pickles. I would order this again. The teriyaki chicken with rice and beans had a little bit too much sauce but the chicken had an amazing texture. Overall pretty good. I loved loved loved the vegan cookies!

Simply not great. We choose My Vegan Gold after seeing the positive reviews on HappyCow & Google. We ordered two different pastas and both were way too creamy and oily. The starter was ok. If I went back, I would probably order something else. On the positive side, the restaurant is very pretty and service is quick in general. Also, there are a few free parking spaces in front of the building which is handy.

Vegan Gold Comes in Second Place Strip mall restaurants are a coin toss. You either discover a hidden culinary gem or walk away feeling disappointed and burned. Usually I go to a tried and true option like Bulan Thai down the street but on this day I flipped the coin with My Vegan Gold. THE FOOD I ordered the Moo Bowl and Poke Bowl. Both dishes arrived in a timely manner, each one looking colorful and inviting. Taste was all there for a vegan restaurant but the wasabi was overpowering at times. THE SERVICE The cashier double charged my CC for the meal, even though I showed him the initial charge went through on my Apple Pay. He shrugged and with a line forming behind me and my date I resigned myself to taking it up with my CC company later. My date and I were sharing our meal and so we asked for plates. The plates we were brought were hardly larger than coffee saucers, making it awkward to try and sample more than a single dish at a time. You also just get a single fork and a napkin with your meal, no chopsticks, no knife, no spoon. IN SUMMARY Not the worst place I've ever been. If you're vegan you'll find something to like but not a spot I'd return to.

Went in here excited knowing it was a very good vegan place. Little did I know the food was frozen and “watered down”. It’s half service so don’t expect a lot of customer service. But the girl that “served us” honestly could’ve been less of a cold robot and friendlier. In short, Food was bad service was bad. Atmosphere was nice, a shame that they had to bring down the vibes by giving mediocre food. Hopefully the head chef called in sick and this isn’t their standard… *Update* I had severe food poisoning that night.

Amazing plant based establishment. This is a quaint spot in the city that certainly needs more light shined on it. Although, I could eat the orange chicken and rice all day they offer different types of plant based meals that anyone can enjoy!! Parking can be challenging if yoga class is going on.. I usually just park and run in.

I asked for their “Yellow Curry” and jokingly asked if it would be as good as it is back in Bangladesh, The waitress told me if I want food from Bangladesh then maybe I should just leave this country and go back there! Also the color of the curry was not yellow as advertised and tasted horrible!!!! 0/10.

Delicious food!! We got the peanut salad and tom kha gai soup. Both were delicious with fresh flavors and bright colors—felt healthy and refreshing. Plus they give you a lot of food! So the price is good too.

WOW. Unassuming from the outside but this may be some of the best vegan Asian food I’ve ever had. Tom kah and pineapple fried rice were top notch. You can tell a lot of care and love goes into the food.

Where do I start? I absolutely love everything about My Vegan Gold. The food is delicious. I do not eat processed meat substitutes. When I asked, they were willing to add more fresh items. Oh and the beet hummus is to live for. It is full of flavor. The remodeled interior is beautiful and welcoming. The service is impeccable.

Recommend!! Orange Chicken! - must try. The flavor is different Panda Express with a bit more tart but tastes so good & satisfying! Spicy basil noodle- flavor was really good and tasty. A good amount of spicy! Yellow Curry- cauliflowers, onions, carrots and not the usual potatoes like other restaurants. It was a bit bland. Wild Mushroom- this was a flavor + texture treat! Very tasty with the fried tofu. Spring rolls- good nothing special Portions are great to share.

5 stars all around. I stop here every chance i get, ill grab a table for one and when vegan friends visit I am quick to show this place off. The menu is huge and inclusive, something for everyone. Really amazing fresh food, staff is friendly and the ambiance is lovely. This is a must try if you're a vegan foodie or if you just love good food.

My experience at My Vegan Gold was excellent! The food was fresh, delicious and clearly made with love! Our host, Su, was beyond hospitable! She made us feel so welcome and treated us like royalty! She was quick to provide us with everything we would need to enjoy our meal (utensil, extra napkins, refills on drinks, etc.) before we even thought to ask! I would recommend the Thai tea with coconut milk! Orange chicken is my fav! Honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on their menu!

Nice, casual vegan restaurant. Clean and well-designed/pretty. Staff is kind, attentive, and diligent. The Tom Kha soup is amazing, its sour and creamy and enjoyably spicy. The RIPP (vegan short ribs) were good but not amazing like the soup. Both came in good portions. Carrot cake was good but you can tell its gluten free. Not too far from CHLA and muchmuch better than the cafeteria food. Would come back for that soup!

The brown rice, vegetables and tofu was bland and tasteless. Lacking seasoning and flavor. The soy chicken was stringy and mushy. Nothing firm about it. Will not be coming back and cannot recommend. Customer service was excellent though. The kitchen not so. Reviews and photos do not reflect the quality I received. Extra charge when using credit debit card is high. Should be small reasonal fee to process such transactions. A bit of goughing here.

We drive 45 min just to eat here, one of the TOP vegan Thai restaurants in regards to flavors, quality and price. We have tried several dishes from here and a lot of them get a 10/10 rating, including what is pictured. Tom Kha, Kale salad and edamame had mouth watering flavors, I chase this taste over and over again. Service is so polite and quick, staff has pleasant energy. Decor inside the restaurant is cute.

Just tried this place and it’s so good! They have a breakfast menu with JUST egg. We got the breakfast burrito and a breakfast sandwich. The bacon they use is really tasty! And they have house hot sauce, plus Cholula, siracha , and franks. They also have organic ketchup! Also service is absolutely excellent - they’re so sweet and they gave us jasmine tea on the house ☺️

Great place to eat I wasn't in the frame of mind to sit there and wait. But I'll put them on my follow-up list to go and eat that again quite popular in the local neighborhood. Staff is very nice order is a little different you can do a barcode and you place your order. The RF code takes you to scan it with your phone and it takes you to the menu and then you are away to order.

The food was good, but nothing to write home about. The vegan meat in the orange chicken had a great texture and sauce while the Chow Mein didn't have many vegetables and was overly seasoned. Overall, I would recommend this place if you are looking for a vegan alternative to Panda Express but don't expect anything special.

We had an amazing experience here, it was an almost perfect stay as always. I would like to say that everyone was accommodating and helpful when we asked something needed. Kudos to all the staff. Kelly was the best bartender ever! They also served a perfect food! We loved everything about this place and we will be returning the same time next year. Good job, guys!

One of the best vegan and food spots in Los Angeles. The parking is fairly easy in the lotz but there is also a lot of street parking nearby. And the current outdoor only seating is super inviting and well spaced out for all. They have amazing appetizers/starters such as the the thai "beef" jerky, drumsticks, fresh rolls, springs rolls, sweet potato fries, "chicken" nugget and nacho supreme just to name half of that section on the menu... O.O. The Rice and Noodle dishes are incredible in flavor and portion. The P.E.T, Supreme Fried Rice and Yellow Curry Noodle are some of my favorite House Specialities and meals. From burgers to soups... My Vegan Gold is golden!

My gf and I are obsessed with their apps and entrees. We love their moo bowl so so much and their satay. We get carry out from them often and crave their satay all the time. If you’re ever looking for food in the area and are open to vegan options, I beg you to try this place… I need them to open more locations ASAP..

Love this place! The food was tasty, cooked well and priced accordingly. They have a great sized menu and offer the impossible burger. The atmosphere is quiet and comfortable and the location is easy to get into and parking was adequate. It's not too far from the Pantages Theatre too so it's a great place to hit up before the show. I highly recommended for a delicious lunch.
