Hands down the Orange Chick'n is FIRE!!! I promise you, this was the best vegan orange chicken I've ever had. I want to explore the menu more, but I keep going back just for this item alone lol. I also love the fact that their brown rice is nutrient rich, love food with benefits!

I got to Lotus 15 min before closing. I was able to do a take out order. I got the hot wings (10/10), Thai ice tea (perfect not too sweet) a sprite can (always same) and I ordered the kung-pao chicken. The food did not mention spice on the menu, but it was ridiculously hot. Too hot to eat it. I live in Lancaster, CA so making a trip down there to exchange is not possible. I called them the next day to just give them a heads up and they did offer to exchange the food. I ended up recooking the food the next day by adding some fresh pineapple, Soy sauce and added honey to make it less hot which helped, But it was still too hot for me. If you like spicy dishes you will love this dish. I will still try this place again. They have great food, but I’ve learned I need to ask for spice level even if it’s not mentioned. If you can’t find parking on the Main Street, there is a parking lot you can park at which I’ve included an image of. I’ve tried the curry it’s also very hot in spice and the spring rolls.

Food was spectacular. The environment in this restaurant is amazing it's so peaceful and Serene it reminded me of being at some Buddhist temple. As I began to sit down I understood reason why this is called the lotus flower because of all the wonderful service. Premier vegetarian food. The mill I ate was The salted pumpkin it was a little spicy but if you like a little spice in your life is most definitely a good good meal. I really can't wait to come back and eat that meal. I can't wait till try something else delicious on the. The service was great too as well the waiter was very respectful with me directly in the eye serve me my food and also asked if I needed anything else. Being the top Google reviewer I look at things like. The details matter when you when have restaurant. I hope all of the LA vegetarians and vegans come to this restaurant if you haven't been there already. Also try the duck vegetarian wings which were spectacular. They have the fried rice that was really red rice mixed with sauteed so delicious and yummy.

Cute little Thai vegan place! They have many options, including soy “meat” options if you’re into that. Pad Thai was tasty but a bit on the sweet side for my liking. Egg rolls were tasty, crispy. The veggie soup was so fresh and enjoyable! Curry was tasty, served very hot! A bit spicy. Great service, very homey feel. Street parking, next to a very strange 5-way intersection...

This was my first shot at a fully vegan restaurant and I couldn't fault it in any way. I went there with 2 other people that are meat eaters. We ordered the wings, shrimp and satay chicken starters to share and these were enjoyed by everyone. The satay chicken is better than any satay chicken made with real chicken that I've ever had. I had the chicken wrap as a main and again I really enjoyed this.

I ordered delivery through Uber Eats, everything arrived fresh and securely packaged. The hot wings are a must! Potentially the best vegan wings I've ever had. 100% recommend

Came to this restaurant for the first time over the 4th of July weekend. Midway in my dish, I noticed a small piece of hair in my food. I simply removed it and proceeded to eat until I saw a second hair. I then decided to send the food back for a new plate. The owner apologized, made me a new dish, and even brought out free chai tea to make it right. My fresh dish tasted better than the first one! And then, once again, midway into eating, I noticed a piece of plastic has somehow gotten cooked with my food. I stopped eating, said nothing, and paid for my meal. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place.

Prepare yourself with extra napkins, because foodgasms ensue. Lotus Vegan has yet to disappoint. I can only speak for my take-out and delivery experiences, but I judge restaurants based primarily on food alone anyway. If ambience is your priority, I can't offer insight. But if you're craving consistently mind-blowing munchies, this place is a must. My go to's: Orange chicken, spring rolls, green curry (tried with additions of soy chicken and tofu, both were equally divine), and recently, the papaya salad and strawberry cheesecake. No words. Just drool. I love spicy food and was not disappointed by the spice Level 4. I'm curious to explore the hottest spice level in my next order, but the 4 definitely delivered heat. Gems like this are the reason I journeyed back to California.

So far we are off to a great start. Small Vegan Asian Fusion restaurant. It's clearly a good choice that we picked this because almost every table was full even the outside tables. We ordered a few different dishes & are sitting back waiting there arrival. Chicken Wings, Panang Curry, & Basil Noodles. Yummmmm. So food arrived & since has been devoured. And DELISH!!!! The best Panang Curry I have ever had & it's full on Vegan. The shrimp we added was incredible. More incredible that it isn't really shrimp but the root of a plant that gives it the flavor. I can't begin to describe how outstanding this place is. I can't wait to revisit. The Basil Noodle dish was also phenomenal. Light, warm & spicy & perfect amount of flavor. Not too much sauce & not too little. & the chicken wings, were dusted with angelic flavor. Tristene, our server was fantastic! She was knowledgeable & recommended spectacular dishes to try. Thanks for the added bonus of your smile. It shows how much you care.

By far the best pad Thai I’ve had since going vegan, the chef Elle is a magician and everyone is friendly and fantastic. This place never disappoints!

Lotus Vegan makes the best vegan tom yum soup, always plays good music and is knowledgeable about food allergies! I order from here often and forgot to make my order gluten free today like I always do and they called to double check with me :) Thank you Lotus Vegan!!!! Appreciate you <3

I used to regularly eat here and would bring people looking for something vegan or with food restrictions and turned a lot of people onto this place between 2011-2019. A lot. But after two consecutive foul orders, Im afraid that Im done with this place. Most recently I ordered 3 dishes delivered for $70...but the pad see ew ordered gluten-free came stir-fried with plain rice noodles and vegetables in just oil and white vinegar. Absolutely disgusting. I don't understand what happened to this place or their ability to swap tamari/GF soy sauce out for standard when making the GF specification. I had done it for dozens of meals here, in fact, the GF friendly menu has been a major aspect of my patronage over the years. I wanted it to work so I covered the sour-yet-flavorless dish in curry, which was great, but I am still, unfortunately, tasting those nasty vinegar noodles. The curry was fine, pineapple fried rice was fine, however, the soy chicken is now thin shavings rather than whole pieces. My second to last meal here (less than a week earlier) had satay that was inedible and an obviously, almost hunorously reduced portion. A massive recipe change from the quality expected pre-pandemic. Unfortunately, these six disappointing dishes have totalled over $150 and it just isn't worth it, especially when you can still recall how good this place once was. To make matters worse, the owner has reached out to me, requesting order specifics, promising a refund, (I did not ask for it) but after providing these details, has gone silent. Poor ownership, poor recipes and terrible experience as customer has ended my relationship with this place. A review of recent Yelp and Goole reviews shows that, sadly, my situation isn't unique.

Non vegan here and this is my go to birthday dinner spot! You will feel the love in every bite. I recommend everything, you can’t go wrong. The thai hot wings and plant based cheesecake are the BEST!!!

Lotus Vegan is family owned and makes you feel like family too. My spouse and I go almost every Friday and have yet to try anything that wasn’t short of incredible. I’m currently hooked on the Tom Yum Noodle Soup and Curry Dumplings.

The workers don't pay attention. I came to pick up an order with me, there was no one inside, no one greeted me, and when the employee appeared, he simply did not notice me. when I called him, he pretended that he didn’t see me, the other employee didn’t even say how long to wait for the order. Why such an appeal to clients? it's horrible.

I am from NC but always come to Lotus when we are in LA. The atmosphere is so calm and peaceful and the staff are very kind. I enjoyed everything we ordered as always. They have a big menu so I look forward to coming back and trying something new:). Definitely feeling the vegan love at this place!

Been a customer for years!! Love this place and always order the lunch ir dinner special lol. But all the choices are delicious, well seasoned, and great texture. I would 200% recommended coming to eat in or take out. Plus their staff is amazing and one of the reason I enjoy stopping to say hello 😊

So our service was laughably terrible. I could go on anout that... but I'll just leave it as saying, we were there for over an hour and never got the water we asked for... and it was not that busy there on a Sunday afternoon. Aside from the horrible service, the food was AMAZING. So good that I will definitely return, in spite of the service. The orange chicken is especially amazing!!

The burgers are not patties, it's shredded vegan meat. I liked the spicy fried rice. Good customer service. Good price for vegan food.

Was very nice. Decent atmosphere, food seemed very fresh and the menu has an incredible selection. A little pricey like healthy eating often is, but as of one visit, it seems worth it. Putting the peanut sauce on the High Protein Salad made it next level. Seriously worth a try.

I ordered: Orange Chicken, Spring Rolls, Pepper Steak, & Peanut Butter Pie. I ordered via post mates (pick-up) . They quoted me a time of 60 minutes, the time it would take to complete the order. I arrived for my pick up a few minutes early. I noticed a large paper bag on the back counter where the waiter stood. He asked if I was picking up , I replied yes, with my name and order number. The waiter then grabbed the large paper bag I saw when I walked in. I got back home in about 2-3 minutes( Bakman Ave.) I opened all the food and to my surprise everything was COLD. Then I began to try everything. 1. Orange Chicken: Awesome. 2. Pepper Steak: Hard as Cardboard, over cooked, it reminded me of beef jerky,I hate beef jerky. I would not recommend this item. 3. Spring Rolls: Just Ok. 4. Peanut Butter Pie: Meh... I could have left it. Not worth the taste or price. It was like a thick mouse w/ VERY crumbly crust. I would not recommend this item.

If you like vegan food, this is some of the best in Los Angeles. I always get the spring rolls. The dumpling are good too. The owner was there every time I went and the staff is really nice.

I travel many places , and enjoy different food from many cultures, however I was raised on Chinese broccoli and certain foods . So being how many stars this place has I gave it a shot .I ordered the Chinese broccoli, veggi fried rice , Thai style soup and dumplings . The rice wasn’t to bad …. The soup had way to much vinegar, the inside of the dumplings were blended to the point it seems puréed …. THE CHINESE BROCCOLI was what really bothered me . It taste dirty !!! Vegetable eaters know exactly what I’m taking about . I Spent $60 dollars for this meal and didn’t eat it . It seems everyone this days are saying VEGAN and running with it . Sorry for the harsh review but I lost out on $60, i wouldn’t mind spending that money for good food .
