I searched for “best pizza in Los Angeles” and this place came up on the very top with very high ratings. When we entered, there was no one at the cashier counter to take our order for 15 minutes. Then someone finally decided to come up and take our order. All the pizzas were ready and all they needed to do was heat them up. But it took them more than half an hour to bring our slices. The pizza tasted so horrible. It tasted like it was dried out for days! I couldn’t even eat more than two bites of the seitan pizza. I don’t know what they did to get such high rating but their pizza is awful. The place is a mess and there are pizza slices lying all over the floor. The staff simply steps on them instead of cleaning up. What a nightmare! I will never trust these reviews again and will never go back to this place!

Hard to believe it’s the top-rated pizza around, it is definitely not. Clearly asked the counter to bring pizza slices separately: one plate with vegetarian only and another without. They messed up and gave us both on the same plates where meat pizza was next to vegetarian. Fine, asked them to fix it and make it again. The person in the kitchen gave us a nasty look because he was forced to trash it. Clearly it’s not the fault of the customers who asked you to be accurate from the beginning! One more thing, the taste is very mediocre. Absolutely not worth it.

Personally thought the pizza was good! My girl didn't think it was too good. It did have several black chunks of something on the underside, like something burned in their oven and was getting stuck on the underside. Wanted a white slice but they were out. Ended up getting a pepperoni slice. Good sauce! Good crisp! Good pepperoni! Can't go wrong with a slice from this spot. Need to try a whole pie soon.

There are a lot of places that offer pizza by the slice BUT no one does it like Pizzanista! If you want variety and incredible crunch dont look any further. Yes incredible crunch, and im speaking specifically about their Sicilian (get the corner piece as I did) Margherita slice. It will have your mouth watering just at the sight of it once taken out of the stapled paper bag it comes in if you decide to get it to-go. Its well prepared and gives you something to unwrap before plunging into a sea of flavor. This pizza was so good, I had to contemplate a second slice even though the one slice was as long as my forearm, no exaggeration. I will definitely be a returning customer.

Best vegan pizza I have ever had. The cheese is great which is hard to nail with vegan options, and their pepperoni is also delicious. Their vegan mac and cheese slices they have on Sundays are bomb. People there are also very nice. Highly recommend!

This place is an amazing find for the Pizza 🍕 liver. Actually is pizza paradise. Creative menu is unique and has something for everyone. Meat, vegetarian and vegan options. Rapidly climb up to top five in my LA pizza places.

A hip pizza join in a hip neighborhood, but without the fussiness, Pizzanista is a very solid and super popular pizza joint offering by the slice and full pies of pizza. Their standard, full size pizzas are 18 inches and their vegan pies are 12 inches - wish we had the option to get the Meat Jesus in 12 inches, but it was super delicious so all the extra slices are worth it. It's not cheap though. As of August 2021 they are doing take out only. Street parking. There was a constant steam of customers even on a late Wednesday night.

The pizza here is a good traditional greasy new york style pizza. We got a slice of the Soppressata & mushroom , the meat jesus, a slice of day old sicilian cheese and an order of garlic knots. The soppressata was the best, it was savory and had little pops of flavor with each mushroom. The meat jesus was just too sweet. The sicilian was a basic deep dish cheese pizza. The garlic knots lacked any real flavor but we did taste the lingering flavor of garlic for the hours after we are them.

Pizza is good, you can get it by the slice. Thin and crispy & overall good. I thought the sauce was a bit tangier than I like. I thought the cheese wasn't that great as it required significant chewing. Slices are medium size, you'll need at least a couple to fill you up. It's a good pizza but not one I would go out of my way for nor pay that higher price point regularly. Check it out if you're in the area.

Great pizza, been coming here off and on for years now. They’re consistent, the dough is nice crunchy but not too thin. Sauce is sweet, and the pie is always fresh. Get their Sicilian, it’s delicious, and will keep you full for awhile. 🤙🏻

Have been sick since I ate their vegan pizza I only ate out there this past week so I know it was the pizza Nothing can compensate for feeling sick for 5 days now. Seems it's the last of it. Rarely write reviews yet felt this was important. Maybe just a bad day for em but food safety is so important.

Best pizza in California period. Amazing vegan options. This place changed my life after waiting 7 years to find edible pizza on the west coast. Being from NJ I'm so picky about pizza and this is the only California pizza besides one other pretty decent place that also has good vegan pizza, worth eating. Plus they have pizza by the slice!!!! Eff yes. I totally miss the lbc location. Please come back! But I will occasionally drive to dtla for the experience.

This place has become my favorite pizza spot. I can't say that I only like 1 thing of the pizza, it would be difficult to decide. The atmosphere of the place is awesome, and located in the heart of the Art District in DTLA.

This restaurant is reasonably priced and serves delicious pizza and pasta. Aside from that, I really enjoy the atmosphere in their restaurant. It was spotless, comfortable, and fashionable. The waiters and waitresses were also very accommodating and friendly. To be honest, the snacks in this restaurant were excellent. Thank you kindly. I must return!

Unbeatable! Everything is fresh and the topping is just the amount that satisfies you. Their Vegan options are also great. My sister loved the Vegan pepperoni.

A perfect place to have pizza! I need to come back because it's a good one. This was the first time I visited this place, and I am very grateful that I came here. Leo was one of their people who accommodated me with my inquiries. He was totally impressive, excellent, and fantastic to communicate with. Kudos!

This Italian restaurant is so well decorated and designed perfectly inside. It gave you a glimpse of Italy. The music that they played was so romantic. The food was so good. The wine was so perfect in the food that I had. The place was so spacious and cozy. I highly recommend this Italian restaurant!

Their menu is plentiful with options for brunch. Their bottomless mimosas are served up differently than other places in that you buy bottles of champagne (either for $30 or $35 each) which comes with your choice of 3 juices per bottle. Our waitress was super nice and let us know of some juices that weren't on the menu (peach). They had mango, grapefruit, papaya, strawberry banana, and the list goes on. There was 8 of us and we went through 4 bottles (could've gone through more if we wanted to).

This is probably my favorite pizza spot in LA. Some close seconds but the crust is always crispy, the sicilian is amazing/not too thick, and the reheat value of all of the pizzas are perfection. I put mine on a quick broil at home, and it hits just like when I bought it. I also loved how excited the crew was when they made our pizza — half pepp / half jalapeño. They were stoked on how beautiful it looked.

Good place for some 🍕 pizza. Limited seating, sometimes has a line but moves quickly. Been there 2x during the 12 to 2pm lunch hours.

Happy hour price is incredible. Size of pizza is as big as warehouse stores, customized the pizza into half vegan and meat lovers.

I reserve 5 stars for completely vegan restaurants, but the vegan pizza options here are bangin! The vegan pepperoni, vegan veggie, and vegan seitan meets Jesus are 5 star!! This place rivals Screamers Pizza in NCY. I will 100% be coming back here for my vegan pizza fix.

Come here pretty often because i work nearby! Best vegan pizza AND customer service i’ve ever had in LA. Staff is always friendly and quick to fix it if they make a mistake. 10/10 will keep coming back :)

Very tasty pizza. Thin crust that provides the perfect texture to the toppings. They have a good variety of drinks, including beer and wine.

I've always seen this spot but never tried it until recently. Yes, there are 🍕 that is already made. I got the pepperoni! The slices are big, thin, lightly sauced with chunkier smaller pepperoni slices. I thought it was good and flavorful. It got busy during lunch. I think it's worth the try. It has always been a busy spot and is convenient for downtown workers.

Great Vegan Pizza! You can't go wrong with a Vegan Sicilian Pepperoni. Nice and thick sourdough crust is what makes this pizza a star. Also, try out their Vegan Mac and Cheese Pizza that is only available on Sundays.

We can attest to the finger licking jaw dropping slap yo momma flavor which is blessed by a thin but sturdy crust

My go to pizza place in LA as I prefer thin crust pizzas. Never disappoints! The mac and cheese pizza... wow. You'd think it'll be a strange combination, but think again! So so delicious. Their vegan ones are also pretty tasty if you're looking for vegan options. I love that they serve by the slice as I'm not a big eater.

Amazing pizza, clean restrooms, plenty of options for everyone, friendly staff, spotless restrooms, easy and free parking... What else could we ask for!!?? This is now, after visiting a few times, my favorite pizza place in all of L.A. Try the meat Jesus, the veggie and the white pizza, they're amazing

Got a great late night slice here. Fast food at its finest. Lots of selection for pizzas including breadsticks, I ended up with just pepperoni but they had a lot of specialties too. Great stop for post RiNo shenanigans. I’ll be back!
