(Fully vegan) We came here for brunch on the weekend and it was 11/10. The waffles and mushroom toast were our favourite. Everyone including our non vegan family loved their meal and we plan to come back soon. The outside courtyard is very beautiful

Went to a birthday celebration with a group of non vegans and was pleasantly surprised by the selection. Between the 6 of us, we ordered 7 items plus 2 desserts and shared them. My favorite was the kimchi dumplings and celeriac. I definitely prefer the hot dishes more than the cold. The 6 of us all thought the food was great and would like to go back there again!

Reservation experience: Made a reservation on Yelp, on the same day for Saturday evening, a few hours out. Ambience: The place outside is unassuming. The restaurants next to it have seating on the sidewalk, so when you approach plant food+wine, it may look like you’re not in a place with a lot of bustle. Wait till you are inside. It is a home style restaurant and if you can, try and get seated in the garbed section. Food: I liked the kimchi dumplings. I thought they were good but I couldn’t really taste the kimchi. The cashew raclette would have been good, if not for some boiled pieces of potato added in. It also didn’t pack a flavorful punch. It was quite subtle. The racklette was supposed to come with sourdough bread and while this was a good bread, it was not sourdough. May be San Francisco has me spoiled but I know a good sourdough when I taste one. I ordered raw zucchini lasagna and while the taste was good and I liked the experimentation, I’m not sure if it was worth the money. My friend absolutely was not a fan of the maitake mushroom over peas. With the experience we had, we didn’t even bother getting dessert. Wait staff: Absolutely amazing wait staff. I enjoyed our interaction and their recommendations. Value for money: NOPE. Your money is better spent elsewhere.

I wanted to love this place. It’s easily a 5/5 on ambiance, making it feel like a place to celebrate something special. The details — from the cat in the yard (Maitaki) to the stunning dishwater — make it feel canonically Venice. However, the Thai curry left me wanting something more distinctive. It felt bland — it is seemed like a lost opportunity for the team to create something memorable. On the other hand, the cream pie was a brilliant minimalistic masterpiece. Next time I return, I’ll probably go for drinks and dessert only. But I do recommend that every vegan in LA give this iconic restaurant a go.

Not bad but very small portions and expensive for a beyond meat sur lit de salade (with green salad) I paid $32. So don't go if you're hungry. Team is nice restaurant is beautiful, cold we kept our coat to eat!!!

I recently had the pleasure of dining here, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. The menu was a culinary adventure, offering a variety of innovative and delicious plant-based dishes that were beautifully presented. Each dish was a work of art, with a perfect balance of flavors and textures that left me wanting more. The highlight of the meal was the dessert, which was not only visually stunning but also incredibly delicious. I couldn't believe that vegan food could taste this good! The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who were knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations. The ambiance was cozy and romantic, making it a perfect spot for a date or a special occasion. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable dining experience. The food, service, and ambiance were all exceptional, and I can't wait to go back again soon!

Not a vegan and it was sooo good. Very refined, balanced flavors. We loved the cold dishes over the hot ones. The atmosphere is very cute and relaxing. The patio is very quaint.

Loved the plant bowl with fresh root veggies, the welcoming and cozy atmosphere & 5-star excellent service!! The chocolate ganache didn’t taste chocolatey enough- it’s a little bland but the crumbles in it were delicious, like Oreos. Menu doesn’t say whether any of the wines are organic. The Loire Valley Sancerre (white) is fantastic although I’d prefer organic wines (assuming it’s not).

I've been a vegetarian for 35 years. (Okay I just almost fainted at the realization of how long it's been...) I love restaurants that have good options for vegetarians, and I TREASURE restaurants that offer exclusively vegetarian options, especially a fine dining experience that isn't a miso-mash of wraps, falafel and other items that seemed like a good idea because they didn't contain meat. Plant Food + Wine is a really good, fine dining experience for any vegetarian or vegan where we mostly enjoyed what we got, and appreciated the artistry that went into it. There outdoor seating area is lovely and preferred by most (as best we could tell) but we're not fans of discernible temperatures or wind so we sat inside which was also comfortable. My wife and I shared 4 items. We had the Baked Raclette, Kimchi Dumplings, Artisanal Cheese Plate, and Trumpet Mushrooms (and there's a lot more to choose from, much of which is also gluten free.) We especially loved the mushroom dish, it was the heartiest and freshest of the lot with a nice alfredo-like sauce creating a wonderful and satisfying eating experience. The dumplings were good, but we got it in our head, as dumplings often are, that they'd be warm and it was a cold dish...so good on it's own terms but not what we'd hoped for. The fill-in was also "cream-cheesy" which overlapped a lot in texture with what was on the cheese plate...so we felt like we had too much "faux cheese" going on The dumplings flavor was good, but we would have liked more of a vegetables based texture of some kind. These cheese plate...Full disclosure – I eat cheese. I like cheese. I have yet to meet a vegan cheese that really does the job. These looked gorgeous but were mostly similar in taste and texture – again more cream-cheesy (if you will) than hard or soft-cheesy which is what you really want on a cheese plate. The Panda Cotta we had for desert was DELICIOUS. We demolished it and very much appreciated the taste and texture. Well done. We definitely didn't leave hungry, and enjoyed much of what we ate. There's a lot more to try so we'll be back at some point.

Nice local vegan place near Santa Monica and Venice Beach. Good hours. Great customer service. Interesting and good food. Excellent ambience, especially sitting outside for dinner. A bit pricey but overall good experience. Recommend it.

This is by far my favorite restaurant!! I visited 3 years ago and fell in love. I knew I had to come back again. I even went to the one in NYC a couple of years back. The food is absolutely delicious. You completely forget it's vegan. Each meal is perfectly hand crafted and the way ingredients are paired together is astounding. It's an art! We had Will as our server this evening and he was friendly, accommodating and gave great recommendations. We dined outside and loved the vibe, the string lights, the multitude of plants. The heat lamps are an awesome touch to take the edge off a chilly evening. We had a wonderful experience and will certainly be back!

Saw this place on Evolving vegan and had to try it. The raw lasagna was everything I dreamed of. The ricotta was literally the best ricotta I’ve ever had. I actually drooled while eating it.

The food and service were impeccable. I was disappointed that even though I had made reservations earlier that morning that we weren't seated in the patio in the back. That was the whole point of taking my granddaughter out was for the ambiance. Instead we were told that the seating on the sidewalk, in front, was the only thing available. The hostess seemed indifferent and couldn't tell me when we could be seated even though several people were seated in the back after we arrived. So as not to disappoint my granddaughter we stayed, however, considering the amount I spent is more than should have been paid for sidewalk dining. If ambiance is important call and confirm that you can be seated in the back patio.

The best vegan food we found during our visit to SoCal! The outdoor patio is quiet and beautifully designed. Our server was friendly and prompt. The frittata and banana cream pie dessert were delicious!

The asparagus dish was my absolute favourite, next was the kimchi dumpling. The truffle pasta and tylauda were good also.

Umm. Sorry, no for dinner. Prices are too high, quantity are small. I know this is a plant based spot but Flavors could be better developed. (Sestina for eg does a better job) This spot, especially outside has a romantic ambience so we went for Mother’s Day. Malbecs were not so great, and we literally left after trying 3 of their items. Two of the three were mains, the cauliflower dish was better than the other two we ordered. We ended up with a pretty large check, hungry and disappointed. Even the presentation could be better. Next time, I am going next door to Felix or Butchers Daughter for dinner. Maybe we ordered the wrong stuff or perhaps their lunch items are cheaper, but in any case, customer beware.

We had dinner on the first night of their new fall menu. Do yourself a favor and just order the raclette…the most delicious cheesy goodness. We also ordered the Squash and cauliflower entrees, cheese board, and pear salad. A very delicious fall meal and lovely garden ambiance.

😘 I found the Avocado Tikka to be one of those rare, simply "perfect" dishes!! The combination of flavors and textures was an absolute Joy to experience! Thank you so much dear Miguel, Maya and Charles!! It was a pleasure dining with you... Stellar Service! 💫 Looking forward to returning soon! ❤️

Simple menu of well crafted vegan plates. Food was flavorful. The wine list is hand picked and appropriate for the dishes. Service was very helpful, fun, and efficient. Lovely atmosphere, especially in the back patio. Price to value ratio was unbalanced, very expensive for relatively simple plates.

We went for date night dinner, enjoyed the beautiful ambiance and vibes. Food was deliciously handcrafted and perfect paired, loved the distinct vegan food experience. However the service was very very slow and had to wait too long after being seated.

I was invited to an event here, so I don't know the prices, but I know one thing: I'm not vegan, not even vegetarian, but the food is amazing. It's very unique, organic, healthy. You need to be open for example the lasagna is an interpretation, everything was tasty. Before the dinner we also had a wine and finger food reception and the finger food was very tasty and I liked it a lot (I don't know much about the drinks because I don't drink when I'm a designated driver). Next time I'll be around on a personal visit I'll surely bring my wife.

Very pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed dinner here! Three of us came on a Tuesday night, we were seated in the back garden patio which is a lovely space and most tables were occupied so the vibe was good. I’m neither vegan or veg, but this food was dope. All fresh, all great flavours. We loved the dip and the fettuccine, but everything we had was flavour packed (and the salad size was generous, thank you!!). All in was around $75 per head including a bottle of wine which is decent value (we definitely left feeling very full after coming in hungry). Nice spot!

Very good vibe, friendly staff. The food was good but maybe a little overpriced. Enjoyed eating here but there are a lot of other great restaurants in the area that are as good for less or better for the same $

I'm not a vegetarian nor a vegan but the wonderful food here is a feast for the senses. This is my third visit in three years. The menu always changes, but the creativity and culinary excellence remains consistent. I'll be back the next time I'm in LA.

Very good food. Outdoor seating was pretty and spaced out well. I don't frequent vegan spots, but this one was exceptional. Good wine choices, but coffees were not it. Service was strange but overall great experience.

Awesome brunch! I’ve been here for dinner many times and have always enjoyed it but never for brunch… So glad I went this past weekend! The hazelnut mochi waffles were to die for good! The frittata was also amazing… Highly recommend you go and share plates so you can try a little bit of everything.
