A little pricey but food was great. Service was different. Order on website & pay before you eat. You help yourself in picking out boxes for your left overs. They have adapted to these challenging times. They are using on line tools to be creative in servicing their customers. Very nice!

We came to try their famous frensh toast and it was so good & crunchy. Also, the quesadilla was delicious. It was hard to find a parking spot in that area but I would definitely recommend to try it out.

Note: you are ordering from your phone by scanning the QR code on the table OR you may go to a counter to pay as well. You are paying and tipping before there is any 'service' once you are seated. They do not take cash. Ordered the Breakfast Quesadilla, Norwegian Benedict, and Crunchy French Toast. The Breakfast Quesadilla was a bit underwhelming to me because it was quite soggy. The grease was fine and while the contents were enjoyable, I wanted to be able to pick it up and eat this in a napkin in my hand. Using fork and knife for this was ok but it still ended up being messy to eat because the tortilla was soggy to cut through. Norwegian Benedict seemed to be a more appealing plate for my friend and would probably be the better option for this location. The Crunchy French Toast did not match our first impressions. The berries are generous and the presentation is well done. However, the vanilla bean sauce (which seemed watery) can not be substituted for a thicker syrup as this was the owner's grandmother's recipe according to our server. The toast was crunchy but wasn't as flavorful as we had thought, though the sauce helps. There could be some improvement done to their ordering and payment system. I've seen other restaurants implement the QR code ordering and paying format and they seem to have better integration with Apple Pay / Google Wallet abilities. Some form of Google integration existed in Chrome but I still had to pull out my card to check the numbers. Detracts from any sense of ease of use and importantly, the semblance of table service.

🤯Independent fast service? Apparently they do not provide wait staff services. However the service experience was a good one. Once you enter they ask you if you want to eat-in or take-out. Then they let you know ⚠️how to order: if you are a local you scan the QR code on the table to order and pay with your local credit card. Since I am from 🇨🇦 I ordered and paid 💰 at the register. ( it has a Starbucks ⭐️ vibe. I went for breakfast and enjoyed it. Tasty food. Friendly staff. And fast 💨 I would definitely 💯 recommend going here.

A great breakfast spot with great tasting options. The staff were really friendly and the food came out quickly. We got the crispy French toast which I recommend. I also recommend the breakfast quesadillas. They also have outdoor seating. The restaurant was clean. I also liked that the water had lemon and mint sprigs infused into it. I would definitely come back!

First time trying this LA-famous breakfast spot and was not disappointed! The strawberry mint lemonade was good, but it was more strawberry and lacking the mint flavor. I got the Morning Hash plate and this thing is a delicious & filling monster and can definitely feed two people! They have a Yelp check in to get in line. It took us about 20 mins to wait for a table on Saturday at noon.

Food was very good 😊 Atmosphere very comfortable 😇 However, 4/5 ⭐️s because the ordering system was very impersonal. You order online from your table, food is dropped off, not too much interaction with servers. No physical menu. Not my favorite system. Indoor and outdoor seating available 🌆

First time here and WOW is the food good! This place has tons of good reviews and I see why! This is definitely a place to try while in LA. First-The location is right off melrose ave. There’s parking but not a lot. Gotta find spots on the side streets. They have decent outdoor and indoor seating. A lot of takeout as well. I suggest adding yourself to the waitlist through yelp to get ahead of long waits. They do service a little different than traditional. Once you sit you can either order your food through the QR code or walk up to the register and order that way, than they bring everything to you. It’s got a really nice vibe and it’s cozy! Second-The food is phenomenal. There is a lot of things I want to try. But no matter where I go for breakfast or brunch I have to try eggs Benedict and this was a top 5 easily. The sauce was perfect, eggs were perfect everything about it was perfect. The potatoes were the best part though. They were so good! Had to try the blueberry jam and it was good. But not out of this world. My fiancé got the breakfast quesadilla and it was HUGE! The portions are healthy here. The coffee was okay. But still good. Overall this place meets its reviews and i HIGHLY recommend trying it!

We love Blu Jam Cafe! Just touchdown from Florida and we are strolling down taking in the scenery. We stumble upon this Jewel and it's amazing! Madison the manager was absolutely thrilled to help us out with brunch. We ordered the Crispy French toast signature dish with the California Omlette fresh fruit and our daughter had French toast churros Yummy!!!! If your on Melrose Blu Jam is the Vibe!

Loved lots of food choices and alternative options. Good portions, nice coffee and all the foods we ordered were awesome. We struggled at first to try to order and pay without downloading the app. It would be amazing if there is a human to human ordering option was still available.

Not been here for a long time and decided to stop by for the french toast. Crunchy outside and moist inside. Love the balance.

Everything was good except the foods were a bit slow. I was there on weekday and there were only 3 tables but don’t know why still waiting about 15 minutes for the foods. Will come back again but only in non-peak hours.

Yummy crispy French toast! They serve it with white sweet sauce, I think maple syrup would taste better but they didn’t have some, I didn’t like the seating the place is crowded and the tables are very close to each other, Keep in mind you’ll have to pre-pay for your food.

It's a snug spot with scrumptious cuisine. If you have Eastern European tastes, the 'Morning Hash' comes highly recommended. Plus, the portions are generous!

Very modern environment, I liked the scan code for the menu to order, the service was quick and simple because you did your own ordering! My food was DIVINE and I wish I could eat it every day! The best Chilaquiles I've ever had!

Food here is incredible! Not a huge fan of the new ordering system just through the website without interacting with the waiter, but the food quality and flavors are totally worth it. Highly recommended!!

We were visiting LA and happened to come across this Jem. Everything about this place was amazing. From the second you walk in, you are greeted with a big smile and great customer service. The food was sooooo delicious. Can't wait to be back!

The food was very tasty and we really enjoyed it. The selection was very varied and good. I would come here again if I were back in Los Angeles. Although it was very busy, the service was very good. We were very well fed.

The food was a little pricey but was very good. I wasn’t too crazy about the ordering process. Instead of being given your drinks after ordering, you are given them when the food arrives and aren’t given refills on the coffee. It also took quite a bit of time to get our food.

The food is awesome although on the pricier side. You scan the menu on your phone and order and pay through your phone and then they bring the food to the table. They are kinda slow we waiting for our coffee for about 15-20 minutes and it wasnt even full yet (around 10 am) food took like 40 mins

The food tastes really good thought the amount is not that much compared to other brunch restaurants.

It was convenient because the staff was friendly and I could order food through the app. I was satisfied with the coffee and the food. It takes time for the food to come out, so please take your time to visit

The menu had tons of options to choose from. The portion size was great and the food was very tasty. This was really a great start to my day.

The food was delicious! Steve was awesome. He answered all my questions about the menu, very knowledgeable and provided great customer service. I was undecided about which French toast I should pick and he recommended the churros French toast which was amazing!!! Overall the experience was pleasant however if you’re looking for full service just know you order and pay at the register and they will bring food to the table.

Low-key brunch spot with excellent food. The excellent coffee and food make up for the lack of wait staff. You have to order through and app which sounds efficient, but nothing comes out together or timely. Still a cool spot.
