Probably one of my favorite cafe’s overall. A great selection of coffee drinks, desserts & sweet beverages. Always lively with lots of spots to sit and people watch or great spot to hang with friends. I ordered the honey vanilla latte with almond milk and they added the dog art for free. For lunch I ordered the Caesar half salad with chicken added for an extra charge. The salad was solid, excellent flavor and the chicken pieces were good. Overall it was an excellent lunch experience. I’d say the only negative is that it’s always busy so parking is hard to get at peak hours. It’s definitely worth the wait if you can park or walk to there. I’ve been going to this one and the one in Pasadena. The menu has a lot of other items I’d try next time. ***update*** Try their mushroom pizza, it’s phenomenal!

Not the best service but nice ambience and decoration. Good looking good that tastes even better. This is one of my favorite locations. I love the fire heaters and the music. Is simply enjoyable.

Urth has always been a good stop for lunch. The chicken sandwhich I got this time was so flavorful and cooked perfectly. My coffee was great, not too sweet. It gets a little hectic with the long lines and people waiting for their orders. It's a really busy place, but the employees are always busy. I recommend ordering ahead, as it's so much faster

I got to say this was one of my highlights of my trip. I got there nice and early, spited a great parking spot but don’t worry there is lots parking options. This restaurant has plenty of seating and is able to hold a good size party. You got indoor options, terrace options, sidewalk options and even a outdoor tent options. This guys don’t mess around and you won’t leave disappointed. The atmosphere is great, people taking the order are friendly and helpful. Waiting on line due to covid has never been more pleasant as you know the end will be unforgettable. I indulged on a great omelette with ham and cheese with potatoes. They forgot my potatoes, but my waiter did not hesitate and brought me what I order. That is customer service at is best! I had this fruit tart and two amazing coffees. I had to have a second coffee as the first one was amazing. Trust me!! You will impress and you will thank me. Let me know what you think. Urth Caffe if you read this, thank you for the experience and I miss you as I am in Canada now. Will come back on my next visit🙏🏽🙏🏽 #chicosreviews76

Good place to have a coffee and some pastries. We ordered Napoleon cake, one Urth dolce, one Spanish latte and a bobba tea. Servings were HUGE, I couldn’t even finish my latte and the cake as well. Ordering was quick, everything was super tasty and the place was clean. Didn’t try any actual food but the coffee was on point. Spent $27 between the 3 drinks and the cake

We were planning to only eat here once, but we just couldn’t resist another visit before leaving downtown LA! The food and drinks were so good that we were happily “forced” to change our plans. We also got first row seats to an impromptu puppy play session while we were waiting for our delicious food 🐾♥️

We went to this cafe for breakfast. The food was delicious. Service was quick and friendly. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Curbside pickup is available as well. Parking is easily available. The coffee was the best I had in LA.

Came here for brunch on labor day and it was busy around 9:30am. Food is very good here and would highly recommend the D'Lox pizza. Lots of outdoor seating. Good variety on the menu. The cakes are awesome and would recommend the cheesecakes and Fruit Tart. Hard to find street parking nearby but there is a paid lot located across the street.

Went for breakfast. The atmosphere is so relaxing and the setting is cute. I had an Egg White and Spinach Panini it was so good. It came with a tomato dipping sauce. I tried the new Sunshine Smoothie...a healthy and refreshing drink.

So I've had past bad experiences just getting drinks at another Urth Caffe location, but was in the area and decided to give this location a try for lunch. The line to order was a little long (started a little past the bottom of the stairs) but moved relatively quickly. There were no menus in the stand outside so we looked up the menu online. I got the half Urth salad and a Urth iced tea (half lemonade half tea) and they were both good. My husband got a pizza, vegetarian chili, and carrot juice with ginger and enjoyed everything. Despite being pretty busy there were a few tables available and they were cleaned pretty quickly between customers. I would definitely come here again.

This place is really good; their breakfast meal and sandwiches are also good. The place itself is really nice and a great place to come with friends, but the downside is that you have to get your own table, and if you come in a large group, it will be tough to get a table. Also, some of the tables are on the sidewalk, so people do walk by you, but there’s always seating to avoid those areas. It's definitely a good place, and there’s plenty of parking around.

Went in for early dinner. Just before the dinner rush. Still, it was moderately busy and the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed as the drinks were really slow coming out BUT, the drinks are terrific and the food fresh and tasty! On a side note, for those that have never been to this location... The parking sitch is a NIGHTMARE. The one pay lot nearby makes you pay for 12 hours @$15. No options for less time. Street parking is absolutely horrendous so, just something to keep in mind!

Everything here is delicious! Great atmosphere. It's a good place to take a date or to spend some time with a loved one. I come here with my daughter often and we have the best conversations sitting out in the patio.

There was a very big queue to get in there. This place has a lot of reviews, so I assumed there is a reason for it. And honestly, I don't understand why. Just an OK place in my opinion. If you just want to eat something, then it is totally fine, but this is not a great coffee shop, nor a place that tourists should get in line for.

I love Urth cafe! Must-to-try: AVOCADO PIZZA! I ordered this one 5 times out of my 7 visits. It’s really good and it becomes perfect if you ask to add smoked salmon on top (+ about 9$, but it worth it) SPANISH COFFEE The best coffee ever, all my friends love it. BANANA PIE Simple but so good. It’s a best seller, as I know What I didn’t really enjoy: Turkey burger. Not good at all… it tastes like pork. I asked if there is any another type of meet besides turkey and a manager said no. I don’t eat red meat for a couple of years, but I still remember the taste and my friend said same thing about this burger. She didn’t like it neither even though she eats all types of meats. Hazelnut chocolate cake. It is basically just chocolate biscuit with hazelnut decoration. Not really good my itself, but not bad if you take it to go and add some berries at home. I understand everyone’s taste is different, but I saw this unfinished cake on the tables several times. In overall I have my favorites and they definitely worth 5 stars. Besides of that, it’s very nice cafe to dine in, and the menu has so many items! There are no other cafe in LA that will have this big menu.

If you’re in Los Angeles and need to satisfy a sweet tooth this is a must-visit. This cafe has several locations throughout the city but this is my favorite spot due to his layout and architecture. I like how there are several seating options: several sections inside the cafe and their own unique vibes. Also plenty of seating outside on the patio and along the streets. This popular cafe seems to be busy all the time, but the staff and service is efficient so I never notice long wait times. It’s a very casual yet hip atmosphere where you can bring the family, date, or just post up with a laptop to get work done. The wifi works well and I never had problems finding parking on the streets. They are known for the Spanish latte, but my favorite is the Urth Napoleon pastry, the tantalizing textures just brings fireworks to your mouth.

Customers service was the best I’ve had in LA, the coffee was delicious strong and reminiscent of home. I cried because it reminded me of how my Latina grandmother would always prepare it. It was so good. I got the tomato soup and grilled cheese panini. It was amazing went back later for more but the first experience and impression was so good that I can’t wait to go back.

Sunday morning. It was a long queue to enter the cafe but once ordered at the cashier, food came quick. We didn't wait long. Ordered salmon + porched egg. It was tasty but my recommendation here is waffles. Banana walnut waffle. We shared one, we loved it.

Urth Caffe is a very nice place to enjoy breakfast. There is plenty of outdoor seating. Parking is an issue so allow time to find parking. Service is fair. Food is delicious. I enjoyed a salmon breakfast and it was fresh and not overly cooked. Food portions are acceptable. Prices are a bit more than what you'd expect. I would recommend this place for a relaxing brunch.

Cute, open cafe in art district (kind of middle of nowhere), great for friends and family. Had 2 teas and a shareable plate of Mediterranean food. Only downside is that it is pricy as for the 3 things, it was over $30. Food was decent and my matcha tea was good. Limited street parking but on 7pm, Friday night, there were some space. Outdoor and patio spaces with open indoor seating. You order up front and food is brought out to you. Fast and kind service. Would visit again.

Love this place! Amazing service as well as food. I don’t remember the name of the sandwich nor coffee I got(my bad!) but it was definitely worth the money. The place is really nice and great for photos. When I went it was before the pandemic and the line was long but the wait time wasn’t that bad so the line moved quickly. Would definitely recommend!

The food is always fresh. I love the coffee. My go to is the Spanish Latte, Mild Dolce. The staff is friendly. The restaurant is clean. Plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. Plan to wait in a long line especially during peak hours. Parking is difficult.

Fun spot w yummy offerings. Our favorite was the natural beef hash and the baked goods. The poached eggs on the eggs salmone were cold and a bit too undercooked - not a great combo. The juices were freshly squeezed and the boba teas were good. Pizza was so-so.

Urth Caffe is a true gem in the bustling coffee scene of Los Angeles. I can confidently say that this coffee shop is a haven for coffee enthusiasts like myself. The moment I walked in, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee engulfed me, setting the stage for a delightful experience. The cozy and inviting atmosphere, coupled with the rustic decor, creates a perfect ambience for relaxation or catching up with friends. The extensive menu boasts a variety of premium coffee blends and innovative beverages that cater to every taste preference. Urth Caffe never disappoints, making it a go-to destination for my caffeine fix in Los Angeles.

Came here expecting a great experience and left feeling disappointed. I ordered a margarita pizza, Reuben sandwich, fruit tart, and large latte. $47. I tipped the server $10 because of their helpful demeanor only to be given a small latte and be charged the difference when I told the server of their mistake. I couldn't believe they would charge me $1.60 difference for their initial mistake. Food was lackluster great texture but lacking flavor. Definitely go elsewhere. Not worth your time.

I've been in this cafeteria not long ago. I must say that this cafeteria would be my second home. The food that they served was really great. Especially, their breakfast menu was really delicious. The hot chocolate that they served was so delicious. The place was so spacious and clean. The prices were very affordable.

I was craving a blueberry cheesecake and my husband took me to get one at Urths. I did notice that the cashier that took our order was new he did an amazing job super nice and gave us recommendation on what to order...the mocha scone was delicious 😋 bad thing we didn't get his name so we can give him good feedback to his manager. 10/4/2021

Great place to have a date night with friends or a significant other. The location is very busy but it is well worth the wait! Service is wonderful! Pastries and quality of food is great also! For people who aren’t familiar with Urth caffé it might be pricey. But it’s well worth it in my opinion! I’ve been to a few locations and they’ve all been wonderful!

Tuesday morning 4th of July. It was a long queue to enter the cafe but once ordered at the cashier, food came quick. We didn't wait long. It has lot of vegetarian option. Although food was tasty,my recommendation here is waffles, I wouldn’t recommend boba tea. Banana walnut waffle. Food comes in big portions 2 people can share a plate.

Pros, they open late and it's very trendy. Very nice vibs. Workers are very nice and helpful Con's, I understand it's organic drinks but it really didn't have much flavor unfortunately.

To us: we got the Nutella roll, waffle, green tea boba smoothie, Spanish latte To others: for what it's worth, I think Nutella roll was great. Waffle was pretty good (especially the ice cream),I had better latte but their green teas are phenomenal. By far the best green tea based drink I had in California To owners: take pride in your green tea drinks! It's super awesomd

Urth Caffe is full of plenty delicious options. I usually go for breakfast or lunch but upon my last visit I had dinner. I ordered a margherita pizza. It was definitely a great choice, as the crust was perfectly cooked and it had a nice equal amount of cheese and sauce. The prices are pretty reasonable as well.

What a great find! Lots of great healthy food selections as well as yummy deserts and coffee! We had the grilled veggies vegan omelette and the grilled veggie salad. Both were great. All the dishes around us looked great as well. Both indoor and outdoor seating available. Parking a challenge but I guess that is the norm for LA ?!?

We stopped by for breakfast this morning. The cheesecake, and smoothies were amazing! Staff was great… friendly, efficient and went the extra mile. It was busy and they did a great job of getting our order out quick. Attached is a picture of my Amazon Rainforest smoothie! ♥️✅

Finally made it out to Urth in DTLA and was just as I expected. It was a rainy day and thankfully we found a spot inside and it was perfect. I think the real charm of this location is the building itself. It’s a beautiful warm brownstone building that is historic and has been renovated. The food was good as always and we enjoyed our meals. I got the kids Mac n cheese meal and it was super big, more than enough for an adult tbh. Definitely a great location to check out and especially one to come to on an empty slow day!
