I love this place! Everything about it is amazing, and most importantly - it is accessible, well priced and the food is made with care and love. Ann and Thy were so kind and lovely. My kids enjoy the food and indulgence. I also love that you can see what they are doing! You know you are eating good food when they make it in front of you. Clean, tasty and fast. Can’t wait to come back.

I'm having to go back to vegan and vegetarian food so I can live a better life. This is one of those places that I found by accident I happen to be in the area and I googled vegetarian restaurant. The food is phenomenal and unbelievable and so tasty even meat eaters would love this. The far is delicious I tried the pad thai for the first time and the curry coconut soup. If you're in the area it's worth the drive down to Redondo Beach the lots of things to do as well great Beach.

Solid 4.5 stars. Very nice service and yummy vegan food. Had their Vietnamese vegan beef vermicelli. Good Asian selection with veggie fried rice, Pad Thai, and spring rolls.

Amazing place! 😍 I had my fill of Pad Thai (with tofu and faux-chicken!!!), With a great healthy side. OMG.. and my husband got the recommendation for Pho and it did NOT disappoint. So many spices and flavors that brought out the natural yummy flavors of the veggies. Towards the bottom he got more spices. Very spicy Pho if you add the fresh jalapeno. Yummy water as well with lemon (I hope!) Delicious Jasmine hot tea. Thanks.

Not so Happy visit to Happy Veggie..we were served last even though we arrived before 3 people. I personally didnt get my meal until we were packing up to go and my guest had already finished her meals. We put my order in at 7:41 and they said it was done at 8:41pm as we were about to leave so I decided not to get my meal. My daughter has eaten here many time and stated that this was the first bad experience she had ever had, so it could have just been the service that night. Other people ate on time and what i did try was very good..

OH MAN....if this place isn't the cure for the rainy-day blues, I'm not sure what is. They always have a great selection, to the point where it's difficult to pick one. The best part though - they let you sample the soups! The sides & salads are tasty too. I've heard the rolls are good, but have never experienced due to my Gluten-Free lifestyle (ha ha, like it's by choice).

Great place for vegans and people with allergies. I would recommend getting their pho or getting the lemongrass chicken. The Mongolian beef is also fantastic. And their veggie chicken wings are crispy and fun.

We had a wonderful dinner here. We all got the pho and it was the best we'd ever had! The price was good as well. I wish I lived in LA so I could go back.

Our favorite restaurant. Ever since we had their Pho soup, we can’t stop eating it. We literally eat here 4-5 days a week. The food is always great and consistent! Reasonable prices, clean and nice place, friendly service.

I love this place and I come all the time. Unfortunately the last time I went, a child was working the restaurant and the service was terrible. My mom and I arrived and our orders were taken after a couple that came after us. Then another couples order was taken after ours and we were 3rd to get our food. My moms main dish never came out. And the child kept delivering food to the wrong tables. It was a mess. Excellent food but if I see that kid there again, I’ll walk right out that door.

Never a disappointment. Always get pho from here when I’m sick. Love the pho. Has so much flavor and veggies. Recommended!

The best Vegan Restaurant I have ever tasted. I had the Chicken Curry, veggie Rolls, white rice drank Jasmine Tea and had Coconut cake for dessert. I truly ebjoenj my meal.

Love vegan restaurants! This is a small place but welcoming and clean. It's located in a big shopping mall. I tried the Lemon Grass 'Chicken', which seemed to be one of their specials, and I loved it. I also had a garden salad, which unexpectedly came with sesame and raisins (gross!), so perhaps skip that ;D

Fully vegan food with a good variety of options however I found the food to be a bit bland. Soy meats are pretty chewy. Generous portions! Just doesn’t leave much of an impression.

My favorite restaurant ever. Always amazing and affordable food with a chill, low key vibe. Even though I no longer live nearby, I make the drive to Redondo just for this restaurant. Favorite dishes are the Spring rolls, Chicken Drumsticks, Pho and Happy Veggie Wrap!

It was my first time here eating a this place, i went with my gf, and when i got there all the tables were full to my surprise, did seem kind of small i wish there was more room and bigger tables for bigger parties however it was do-able to sit down and eat there. Since the vegan trend is rising over time maybe they might consider relocating to a bigger facility soon, you never know. I took the liberty of showing you guys some pictures of their menu so you can come in with a better idea of what things will cost and what your going to eat. they do have 1 unisex bathroom by the way, i enjoyed coming here and would come again to try this thai/vietnamese-vegan food. :) Also, the waiter/ cashier was very helpful to everyone, we left a $2.00 tip at the end. very glad this place exists!

I had a noodle soup and my wife had a rice dish, the name of which I can’t remember. Both dishes were delicious, a decent size and the prices are very reasonable. The interior looks more like a street food spot, it’s not exactly sparkling clean. One of our tea cups had lipstick marks on it but was swiftly replaced when we pointed it out. So a 3 for cleanliness and a 5 for the food, for a 4 in total. If I could half points, it might be a 4.5 because the food was really good.

Mannnnn, I’ve had vegan Asian food from coast to coast and this place is *chef kisses fingers* delicious. Get the wrap! It’s like a big ole fried Vietnamese chimichanga. Mongolian “beef” was great too. Everything was fresh. Yum.

Vegan Thai. Best we have ever had. Crispy jicama tofu roll, veggie tofu soup and eggplant tofu plate. All delicious and fresh and seasoned to perfection. Cannot beat the price either. If you live anywhere near and love vegan places, beat a quick path to The Happy Veggie and spread the love.

Simply the best pho and the best vegan restaurant in the entire South Bay. We’ve been here maybe 20 times already. Consistently delicious, healthy and nutritious.

Best vegetable broth for Pho I’ve had since moving to LA, and I’ve been looking all over.

Hadn’t been in here for years. The old owner was amazing. She connected with her customers, it was clean and staff was so awesome. I was so grossed out by the bathroom the last I went in. I think I was dumb from staying and eating the food. Who knows how filthy the staff and cooking areas area. Once I find the pictures I took I’ll update this review with them. I honestly couldn’t finish my meal. I don’t know if it was bad or I “just” mentally couldn’t enjoy. The remodel looks better. Staff is okay. They all seem like they hate being there though. Prices were a little pricey but everything these days is going up. Even more reasons for me to be picky on where I go and who/what I spend my hard working money on. I will never go here again. I’m really bummed.

I actually ate here a couple of times before ever learning that this place is vegan. I was so impressed by the quality of their imitation meats that I actually thought they were real meat. Try the Spicy Royal Noodle Soup. it's very good!

Innovative combination of flavors, textures with great visual appeal. Delicious! Service was friendly and the Amuse Bouche was yum. As others mentioned they are just getting started so expect the whole experience to get even better. You definitely want to give this place a try! I will be back

I really want to like this restaurant because they are a fully vegetarian restaurant. However, the dishes I ordered were just very average. I ordered the dumplings and lemongrass chicken. The dumplings were just ok. They were served in a pool of sauce + broth. Kinda bland. The lemongrass chicken is average too. They're very generous with the celery to the point that it was a bit much. Maybe their other dishes are better? The ones I had were just not very impressive.

Amazing food... Hands down the best Vietnamese food I'd. We especially liked the Clay Pot.

I tell myself I'm going to try something new on the menu but I love these dishes so much. Definitely recommend!! <3

I celebrated my birthday yesterday in this great restaurant. happy to tell that we passed a outstanding evening and the restaurant was clearly one of the reasons for the fruitful evening. The waiters helped in a lovely style, the food was delicious and my guests were so glad. We shall surely return for more events. thanks very much.

Really good Vietnamese vegan food. My favourite dishes are Wonton soup, Pho, Vietnamese crepes (banh xeo), clay pot fish (ca kho to), etc. I'm blessed to find Vietnamese vegan food right in South Bay. Ask for brown rice instead of white rice (with extra cost). Thank you Happy Veggie for the good food.

Local restaurant literally two blocks from home and best of all their food is delicious! Quick service, fantastic food it's the perfect neighborhood secret.

Delicious food for a good price with a good amount of food

Very tasty! We (my family) are not vegetarians but we really enjoyed the food here. The curry was fantastic, the pho was great, and the chicken (fake) was delicious.

The Pha is really good! So are the casaval rolls. Some other dishes are blend, but the menu is big. The "coconut" cake is very disappointing. Usually there's one waiter only and he is very friendly and very effective!! I always come back!

Excellent spicy falafel with an impressive array of toppings to compliment the delicious pita (and falafel of course). The place had about a 20 minute wait during lunch on a weekday, and is literally a hole in the wall - but those are always the best in the city! I got the "snack" size and found it very filling - about 3/4 falafel balls inside the pita and lots of toppings. I will be back again for sure.

I used to love this place. Unfortunately the quality has gone down. The last time I went there was hair in my food and my friends food.

I’m pretty surprised at how good this vegan pho was here. I was craving the rare steak pho but damn this vegan one didn’t disappoint! They definitely did a great job not losing the quality of taste. The starter soup coats your stomach well and it tastes great! Not bland at all! If your looking for a vegan food place with all the right flavors don’t pass this place up!

So much nicer now. "A" grade for health score. Still the same great taste. Highly recommended!

It's 91 degree out there, feel like a cool 70 in here :) The wonderful piano solo further calm your spirit :) Pho noodle soup is so flavorable, out of this world :) Today, I tried the Wonton Soup, its delicious sweet :) The owner has so many wonderful secret sauce!!!

This place is incredible. I dined here with my vegetarian son twice in five days, but I’m not a vegetarian. I didn’t miss the meat whatsoever. The food was seasoned so deliciously that it was simple to eat healthier. The texture and flavor of their “meat impostors” will trick your palate! My only criticism was the bathroom was not exactly the cleanest! Given the quality of the food, this seems like an easy fix!
