I’m from out of state and I’m so glad I stopped here. It’s my new favorite stop when I come to Cali. The food was delicious and my sister loved it and she’s not a vegan “yet” with places like this it makes it easier to show people that being vegan is good all the way around. Staff was really nice too 🙂

This is a nice place to get a vegan meal, and they have beyond meat, which is really awesome! The food is definitely very expensive. I got the Hot Hash in a Bowl with a beyond sausage, and also a side of buttered toast, 2 doughnuts, and a hazelnut latte, and it was about $40. Very pricey, but it's a nice treat, and I'd definitely come back for some vegan desserts!

Everything here is delicious! Some of my favorites were the super nachos, breakfast burrito, and pea pancakes. Even meat eaters would enjoy this place. You would never guess everything is 100% vegan and gluten free. Support this shop please. Check it out, you wont regret it.

Small funky joint. Brightly colored. Several tables. Plenty of seating outside. Had the pesto roasted veggie salad. Excellent. Cool music. Prices reasonable for an all vegan place. Unfortunately, this is the only truly healthy vegan place in The Valley. Most the other places in the Valley are high carb and greasy. This place is Keto/paleo. Nice staff. Be prepared to wait, not too bad though. Dishes are elaborate and varied so be prepared to wait sometimes. Worth the wait. The americano coffee is excellent with almond cream.

The best vegan meal I've enjoyed. Portions are solid and the prices are more than fair. Plenty of great options to choose from. Ambience is nice as well. Definitely recommend to anyone who is interested.

The only truly healthy vegan place. So clean and easy on the stomach. I had the chickpea Caesar wrap. I signed up for notifications and offers to remind me I need to come here more often. They also have a kiosk for you to pre-order.

This is the best place for getting lunch! When coming to Leo's Superfood Vegan Cafe, they make great food that will never disappoint the customer! The staff is also very helpful and friendly when it comes to the service. The place also has a great theme of lions! I would also recommend Leo's as a place to pick up birthday treats! All in all, this place is amazing!

nice menu ideas, cute logo, great for people into these fads/diets, but that’s about it. it’s overpriced and lacking flavor. the bread is dense, crumby, unevenly baked, and not as good as it was when they were online only. the kitchen looks unsanitary, no hair nets or gloves in sight. the management is attentive but unprofessional. some bites are soggy, you can taste that they were fried while wet. similarly, some bites are crunchy from salt granules, some burn the throat from splashed in pepper, and most are just bland lumps that make you miss the previous overbearing bites. i came from out of state to try this, and i’m severely disappointed. i should’ve taken my tip to the gas station instead so i could refill what i wasted getting there.

Save your money, worst quality vegan food establishment around, no offense just true. I would say they only stay relevant due to their low sugar, low carb options but still disappointingly underwhelming food especially for the price point. The only items that aren’t entirely a miss are their donuts, everything else is unbalanced, too little or not enough of something. I’d say they have potential, I hope they do but I expected this time around the quality would be better and it had been a long while since my last order.

The menu appealed to me but their food and service exceeded my expectations. I got some donuts and the crunch wrap (on their separate breakfast special menu), and my wife got the breakfast plate and a pancake. The crunch wrap was quality and delicious. The donuts are the smallest donuts I've ever had but excellent none the less. My wife enjoyed the breakfast plate. We shared the pancake. It was thin, a lil crunchy, and delicious. The cashier was very kind and helpful. All in all an impressive first visit. We will be back.

If I lived in the area, I would eat here all the time! So tasty, flavorful, and with plenty of vegetables. Everything was served fresh and hot, in ample portions; my son in law and I saved half of ours and had it for dinner. Staff was kind and patient as well as efficient. I really want to try the baked goods and coffee, they looked so good!

This is a great spot to have lunch. You can order ahead to puck up or eat there. All the food is very tasty and the service is great, they are very friendly. We ordered the Breakfast Burrito, Breakfast Quesadilla and the Breakfast Pesto mini-rito. All were very tasty, but our favorite was the pesto one. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone, not only vegans.

After eyeing this place for awhile, I decided pay them a visit. I told them it was my first time there, and they were extremely helpful. I had to get the donuts as the other reviews wouldn't stop praising them. I ended up getting the maple and the cinnamon donuts. They were like cake donuts. Definetly worth eating, (a little more than just trying). They had the right amount of sweetness, not overly sweet. I just got thier standard breakfast burrito without any of the additional add-ins.. it may seem wierd but the extra tortilla makes a lot more since when you get the burrito as is. They stuff the burrito with multiple ingredients which one tortilla doesn't do justice. But when you are watching your carbs, it's quiet nice. The flavor was amazing as it reminded me of having a cheesy experience at a vegan restaurant. There were parts of the burrito where I felt it to be slightly salty for my pallette (subjective to me). But there is one phenomenonal discovery which Leo's breakfast burrito made me realize, when you have vegan ingredients which may not taste perfect by itself, but when it's paired with other items, its works. I know many new vegans, including myself, would try one component of the dish and make an judgment call, but we may have been wrong. We just have to appreciate the meals put together. I will be going back for the crunch wrap item next. And a couple of more items. It is a place worth trying and checking out for both vegans and non-vegans.

The pesto mini burrito is super yummy😋 . Had the breakfast quesodilla and another mini burrito also, and they were both also good. They have a ton of items on their menu, wish I could taste it all.

Hey Vegan Lovers . . . so I went to Leo's for the first time and had the breakfast plate. It was full of flavor and very good. Also it is a very large plate of food that easily makes two meals. I hope Vegans will come and support this cafe as I was informed they had to cut the hours open because DWP has been blocking the road for the last couple of months. So please give it a try and support a Vegan Cafe making the world a kinder place

Vegan and gluten free! Everything is vegan and gluten free. I should hope this is obvious but be patient because the orders are rather elaborate and do take some time to prepare.

If you want vegan and gluten free options this place has a wonderful selection! They do a very good job at providing vegan and gluten free options to most main stream dishes and treats.

I got the black bean burrito at Leo's superfood vegan cafe, and it was truly wonderful. I really enjoy everything on the menu at Leo's. They have a lot of vegan options, as everything in the store is vegan and gluten-free. I also got the beyond meat fries. Leo's also has very high quality desserts, and they're gluten-free Donuts are the best. Really love everything here and what Leo's is doing for the world.

They have the best vegan donuts I’ve ever tasted. I wish I could figure out the recipe for myself. I also love ordering their pesto sauce just to have on hand, to keep it for the days when I’m feeling lazy & just want to quickly make some pasta at home with my pesto sauce from Leo’s. All of the food here is really good.

Not good all of my family got sick from their food I don't recommend this place Baja fresh is better. They also lied the food tasted like can food and cheese.

Always great to find a gluten free kitchen while traveling. Son with celiac makes it hard to eat out sometimes! We really enjoyed the food and want to come back to try out more. They serve espresso drinks too! Thanks Leo's.

I've been here twice, and food and service have been excellent. I want to give it 5 stars but on this last visit, the music was so loud it was giving me anxiety. I enjoy all types of music but aggressive rock rap is not what I want blasting when trying to enjoy my food. I'd prefer not to have music blasting at all when I eat...and it was BLASTING! When I mentioned it to the front barista, it was clear that I wasn't the first person to complain about it, and that it wasn't her doing. Apparently the cook liked it blaring and she didn't feel comfortable saying anything. Who knows what the dynamic is there but it wasn't cool. I'll still order from there but not sure I'll be dining in.

LEO'S SUPERFOOD VEGAN CAFE is an intimate vegan bistro. This unique, 3-year-old eatery, part of Leo's commercial bakery, prepares vegan and gluten-free entrees, pastries, and rolls. Some keto and paleo options are also available. Internet and telephone orders are accepted. Pick-up and/or delivery services are offered. The menu is pricey. Leo's specializes in Mexican style and American cooking. There is seating for 12 inside and a few tables outside. The walls are decorated with clever cartoons of "Leo the Lion" and there's a large stuffed Leo proudly guarding the refrigerator case. I ordered the "beef"pot pie. My wife chose the vegan quesadilla. Aud, our waitress, said the kitchen was busy. "Your order will be ready in about 15 minutes." It came right on time. The beef-pot pie's crust is crisp- pretzel-like. Inside is a magical mix of "Beyond Beef," carrots, peas and potatos. It's rich sauce is delicious. As I am on a low salt diet, the pie tasted a bit salty. My wife's vegan cheese quesadilla was stuffed with guacamole. She enjoyed it and said she will order it again. We split a chocolate covered donut and a slice of coconut cream cake for dessert. The chocolate coating was delicious. Unfortunately, the texture of donut was too firm. On the other hand, the cake is light and delicious. With 48 hours notice they'll whip up a gluten-free, vegan birthday cake. The wheelchair accessible bathroom is entered through a hallway, that passes the open, neat and clean kitchen. Parking is free. Wheelchair accessible parking spaces require a short walk.

Very welcoming staff and great service. My baby was sleeping in the car and they brought it outside. Food was great I’m very sensitive to gluten so I wanted to try something vegan and GF. I really recommend this place (:

I had brought a vegan burger from here a while back, it was burned and unflavored. I called the owners and spoke to Leo, and was informed that it was done well and I should have brought it back if there was an issue. Um I just finished moving all day and was no loner in the area, when I was attempting to eat my food. Anyway's no apology was provided. When a review is made it's not to make your business look bad but to help it be better! Some of the items looked really good and I'm all for small businesses. But flavor is important and food cooked not burned with flavor will make someone come back for more! Best of luck

Went to Leo’s for the first time today. I have had their cakes before, but I wanted to try their other food. I had the breakfast burrito (served all day). So deelish! They offer it with a second tortilla and I now see why. It was literally bursting with vegan goodness. Best of all, I took a beef pot pie home for dinner. 350 degrees for 20 minutes. It was the BEST pot pie that I have ever had…vegan or not. Leo’s is a real special place. You can tell the food is made with love.
