Plenty of parking space. Located on the southeast corner of McFadden and Ward St. Inside the restaurant is very roomy and doesn't feel very crowded. Owner is friendly and recommended the dishes because it was our first time there. We ordered the Bo Bia with peanut sauce, Pho, and stir fried beef steak on top of fresh salad with rice. Food tasted very delicious and freshly made. Good recommendations from the owner. Prices are good and reasonable. Will return again to try the other dishes.

Love, love, love Bo De! David and Vince, the owners are super awesome and come up to you personally to see how you're doing and give you recommendations on dishes, if you're indecisive about what to get. The Kung Pao "chicken" is our absolute favorite! The shaken beef with the watercress salad is our second favorite dish. They also have a little to go area. The lemongrass curry tofu is delicious and worth a try!

Amazing vegetarian. I got the bird's nest and it was SO GOOD! The fry on the noodles was so light and perfect. So glad I found this place. The kind of spot you explore the menu at for sure. The owner is a cool cat as well and stops by to check in as you are chompin down.

The food here is AMAZING! So full of flavor. I can't wait to try every single food on the menu. I've been here only twice and ordered different dishes every time. I just ate at Bo De,the vegetarian RESTAURANT IN GARDEN GROVE,Calif. they are fantastic&very Polite, The servers are fast,& Lots of Parking,The Owner walks around & talks to everyone, my wife is Vietnamese , & she enjoys this place, the kitchen has a very Good Cook, and it shows.would highly Recommend this place & Rate A+ Sincere Ken & Lai. It was my first time trying vegetarian Vietnamese food. I was hesitant and not sure what to think. I got number 19 i believe, bird net. I call in my order, the guy to answer my was nice. When i got there, the employees were super friendly and talkative. They make me feel welcome ( I was stand off-ish). The girl at register ask if i been there before, what other vietnamese places i been to, if wanted a cup of water. I was very happy with my experience. OMG it was time to eat! Just looking at it was unsure what to think, but once I try it. I was sold!! It was sssssoooo good!!!! Rich in flavor. Everything compliment each other. I cant wait to go back.👏👏👏👏 ooo last thing, ice coffee is the 💣!!!

I have gone four times and tried a variety and loved it all. The people are so open and friendly, and the food is simply outstanding. My non-vegetarian friends were able to genuinely enjoy the tastes too!

I can't say enough good things about this place. This is easily my favorite restaurant with incredibly flavorful and fresh food. I ordered the kung pao green beans and fried egg rolls. Both dishes I've had at other restaurants but they don't taste anything like this. The service was perfect, very positive atmosphere with long time customers for obvious reasons. I can't recommend this place enough. It's a hidden gem that I will be visiting frequently!

Great food and friendly staff! Simon is really cool, and David was most hospitable. Get his recommendations on what to order!! We had the Banh Uot Cha Lau and Hoanh Thanh Soup. Everything was delicious. We even picked up a couple prepared items to bring back home to Indiana. Bo De is Bodhi in Vietnamese, means enlightenment. They’re only open 6 hours a day. Those who know, go.

This is one of the best vegetarian restaurants I have been to. I felt like I had known the owners, David and Vince, for a lifetime. They are most hospitable and take the time to engage with the customers about the menu items. THE best place to eat vegetarian food in OC. My partner and I have vegetarian for 6 years and Bo De Vegetarian Food really hits the spot for us. Other vegetarian restaurants can lack flavor, but this place (although it can be salty at times) has so much variety in taste. I love their vege fish and other to-go foods when I'm in a rush-- quick in and out! So quick and so tasty; the workers there are also so nice and friendly, even those not vegetarian!

Vegetarian food here is so delicious! Hu Tieu and Bo La Lot is what we had. Thumbs up! Wish they would make themselves available on Door Dash! I would order several times a week!!

Hit or miss on the food, ex north Vietnamese noodles was delish, the jicama-carrot-mushroom was mushy yucky. The fried mushroom w/basil good but Vietnamese hot pot was a $28 disappointment--several pieces of tofu in a slightly sour pineapple-lemon grass soup with raw veggies is a hot pot? First and last time ordering that. Service last week OK, this week zero follow up.

Stoked to have found this spot on an OC trip. It's like an express version of the famous Bồ Đề Tịnh Tâm Chay! They have an impressive range of Vietnamese food from multiple regions and everything I had was tasty. They also have some food to go like 'intestines' made from yuba skins and stuffed tofu. Big portions, great prices.

The food was pretty good. I always ask the wife to rate this Restaurant and I always give out at least one star higher than what she says. She gave it 3.5 out of 5, sto I gave it a four. I really enjoyed my bowl of Mi Quang.

We had a wonderful experience here! Food was delicious and David, one of the owners, was the nicest man. We were visiting from out of state, and he treated us like a local. He greeted everyone who walked in, and we saw so many regular repeat customers. Best experience!

This place has delicious food! My favorite is the Mi Xao Gion (crispy noodles stir fry). I think this vegetarian version tastes superior to other non-vegetarian restaurants because of the recipe they have here and the way they cook the noodles (very crispy but not oily at all). Even if you don't usually go vegetarian you should try the food here, I'm sure you will like it!

Been coming here since it opened. It's the place that I would own if I got back into the restaurant business. I've never had a bad meal here. I love how they train their staff from the front of the house, the busboys, servers all the way to the Executive Chef and the vision of the food and business as a whole. As a cook and a baker, my go-to for breakfast is eggs Benedict. Everybody makes it but not everybody makes it well. As always, an excellent choice for a cloudy June morning. My server, James, was top notch... not just as my server but, watching him interact with other guests; well done you! They always know I like to sit in the front by the window in the corner. The pho ap Chao is really good here. Highly recommend coming for just this dish. Honestly better than many other pho ap Chao I've tried with meat.

They used to be located next to the Asian Garden Mall. Their new location here is better as way easier to find parking. I came on a Saturday noon time, most of their ready cooked food were sold out. I ordered 3 of the ready cooked items (bitter mellon, Tofu with lemongrass and Sour Soup), and from their menu I ordered the spring roll and Ban Xeo. I enjoyed all their 5 dishes thoroughly. 🥰 Will definately be back for more at a earlier time next time.😋
