I went here about a year ago with my roommate. The bartender and bar owner Constantine made both of extremely uncomfortable after he told us both we should come back to his house with him and that he would “bend us both over.” Extremely unprofessional and honestly upsetting. Neither of us returned after that point or felt safe to write a review about this place until we both moved away. As a bar owner you should be making your environment a safe place for your customers.

Loved Jay's Bar! The cocktails are amazing and the vibe is really cool and laid back.. Constantine was super friendly and helpful in suggesting the right cocktail for us.. We didn't have food but it looked great as well. Cannot miss this spot!

Very friendly atmosphere, the bartender was so friendly and a vibe! Everyone’s very social, not a lot of people on a Thursday night. Seats indoors and outside. Drinks are good, ordered the bon voyage and lucky. Lucky was good, bon voyage was strong ! Ordered coke to help drink old fashion. Not a big drinker 😅

This place was like "hands down" the best... Food was great, service was awesome. It was very pricey, but worth it. I definitely come here again. This place is perfect for date and party for birthday, anniversary, wedding, and graduation. I highly recommend.

Good gawd that is a tastey sandwich. The tonkotsu sandwich rocked my world i came back a week later and it tasted even better.

Food is OK, but the drinks are outstanding and Constantine's service is out of this world! He engages with everyone, he's on top of everything, he's super charming and cute and he's a beautiful man! We'll be back for his charm!! He makes this place welcoming!! Please give him a raise!!!🙏🙏

I am on a journey of finding interesting bars in areas I don't frequent. I am so happy I wondered into Jay's knowing nothing about it prior (didn't even read reviews). The night was slow when my friend and I entered but the vibe is on point. It's not too divey but sporty. CLEAN! Straight up saw a bunch of Pittsburgh commercials on one of the TVs! Wonder if the owner is from the Burgh? The drink I had (called "Lucky") was exceptionally refreshing! This is definitely a place to spot by with a group of friends when you wanna chill. The bartenders are friendly and even the patrons. I forgot the one guy's name (a new guy) was very attentive and helpful. Lots of interesting beers on tap if you're into that (I'm a cocktail lady). This is a good place for 25+ yr old professionals. Leave all that drama at another bar. I wouldn't mind making this my go-to place when I'm in Silverlake. Grade: A

Excellent local bar. Happy hour food and drinks are amazing. 3 dollar burgers all tuesday are great. Highly recommended. Good place to gather to catch up with friends or watch sports. Dark and cozy candlelit interior with warm ambience.

First time dining in here it's okay to be reminded during Happy Hour to keep all menu pricing under $20.00 per menu item and before/thereafter depending on the item as to vary but more than $30.00 per menu item. This is in regards to pricing restaurant cleanliness service etcetera this is for previously and currently and not just here.

My go-to bar in Silverlake for sure. Constantine and his staff are all super nice and the happy hour with Kirin and gyozas is a good deal. Japanese influenced menu including healthy options. The owners (if I remember correctly) have or had a ramen spot downtown so they carry that here as well. The burgers are amazing too! Small but cheap so I get 2. Plenty of healthy options including 2 different veggie ramen with spinach noodles. Lots of great cocktails and beer variety too

The bartenders were so sweet. This is a great bar for that neighborhood feel. I will definitely come back when I'm in town.

Basically, $7 for a mediocre cab sav and basic bun-and-patty burger is ok for a happy hour. What is not okay is to discover that - even though it says nowhere that happy hour is only m-f - you've been charged $14 for both. The burger, honestly, could've had a better one at mickey d's across the street for $3. I know these are inflationary times, but c'mon. Even for silver lake this is outrageous.

Dropped by yesterday for a busy afternoon at Jay's Bar. Bartenders are friendly and you can tell they enjoy being there. Tried a Green Cheek beer, Australian for Pale and it was delicious. Love this spot and the good vibes.

This was a hidden gem that we came upon on a special occasion. I actually yelped it. What I didn't expect is for it to be in a strip mall which seemed quite a bit out of place in the place that it is. However, the beer selection is pretty great. They have some really tasty appetizers. We came here for a quick stop in the afternoon before going to the west side. It was pretty empty but was getting full as we left around 4:00 pm. Its very cool and low key, seems like a great place for a date and for someone that loves beer. A little on the hipster side but I like to try different things.

Used to love this place dearly… new owner, Jason, keeps the lights bright and his photo on the wall for what I can only guess is ego compared to the old owners. Also, if you’re here late night, they no longer are affiliated with the pizza place across the strip mall… meaning no late night food

The 4100 Bar is my place of tranquility and flirting...I love it. Great drinks so reasonably priced, interesting crowds that look so nice, watch your back and bring back up twice because before you know it, you've lost the night.
