Alex the bartender it's very rude. Looks like he's not happy working there anymore. He always have a big attitude. Never going back there anymore.

If You're looking to have a good beer in a relaxing atmosphere then this is the place to go. I myself am not a very social person but the people here were so friendly and kind so i actually had a very good time and most importantly i felt very comfortable. No huge annoying crowds, just a local bar with a bunch of great local people. If you're ever in the area and looking for a spot to hangout at with a few friends, or to just meet new people and have a few beers then definitely come to the Midway.

Been a customer for 10+ years, I've seen it changed over the years and seen it change owners since 1985. Still, no matter who owns it or what new changes they might add, the Midway will always be my favorite beer bar.

Chill spot perfect for a simple night out especially if you don't want to deal with stupid crowds. Last time I was there a kind gentlemen bought my husband a beer which was sweet and awsome. Says a lot about the crowd. Good deals and I love that they have Goose Island on tap.

First dive bar I've ever been to, ever since then it's always great service, I've taken a few friends and it's always chill and friendly. You should definitely go on Karaoke Tuesday 🤙🤙

Classiest beer bar you may ever wander into...a true must see experience if you happen to be in the area. Cannot recommend enough, especially when you have a hankering for an ice cold beer.

Megan is the best bartender ever!!! She is very attentive & super friendly. Her micheladas are the best in the world! We now call them MEGALADAS. Love this place!

Fun, local spot that currently only serves beer. Very narrow bar area, but it has another room in the back. Staff and customers were friendly. Great place for a low-key night.
